Chill spot in the park. Good vibes.
Lenny Green day was awesome. No drama just dancing fashion shows. I really had a good time for a Sunday afternoon.
I didnt use the dog park, I used the bigger, whole park. Really pretty. Nice lawns and courts. Dog friendly. The do park looked like an adequate amount of space.
Tribute to the late Max Roach. It was gr8! Love jazz and the movie in his life. It was all the rage and everyone was so very nice...🎶🎵 Continue to rest in peace my brother🙏🏽his son', grads and daughters and cousins....💞
So many good dog experiences here, lots of large dogs and the humans are respectful and attentive. Only downside is it gets really muddy in the rain to the point of being unusable but otherwise is one of the best dog parks in Brooklyn.
Nice big dog park, with friendly responsible dog people. Floods when it rains, though -- there is a giant stinky lake in there as I type, 3 days after a rain. Double gated for safety, water bucket available. Gets very dusty when it's dry, wish they'd do something about the water drainage and put wood shavings down to control the dust. Otherwise a pleasant place to bring my dog.
Great addition to McCarren Park. Nice sized bar, Blank Street Coffee and a grill with a small menu. The burger was delicious and enjoying the outdoor seating was really nice.
It's a spacious neighborhood park that has sprinklers and a play area for the kids. There's a designated BBQ area, a handball court, a baseball field, dog park, and an outdoor arena. The recreation center has reopened. There'sa publicrestroom, however, it's not the cleanest. The perimeter has been cleaned up. Also, there's usually a mobile unit for Covid testing parked outside.
Small spot for ice cream cone, sandwich, drinks or coffee. Each is an outpost of a full service restaurant. Reduced selections and options.
The new upgraded room is huge! Much better use of the space. I hope the addition of a water fountain is still in the works. Also, not sure what the wood chips are treated with, but my dog always gets extra drooly and puffy eyes. Anyone else?
Place is pretty awesome. Dog park, basketball, tennis, baseball, amphitheater, kids playground the works. It’s clean, families are ALWAYS there hanging out. Plenty of good people and great dogs. It’s safe, pretty flowers; looking for a great place to take the kids? Go here.
