There is now astroturf in this park, small areas for both small and large dogs. Always full of friendly pups. Good vibes.
Could use some green space and shade. It’s just gravel and dirt, and you don’t have the option to separate the large dogs from the small ones. However, most dogs are super friendly and the dog parents are also very nice. Good place to socialize your dog and yourself. 😆
With 3 dogs of my own, Lincoln Park Dog Run offers the space for them to run and play a great deal. The only downside I see is that there's no grass for them to walk on when in the designated doggy area. It can also be an upside, as there are fewer chances for critters to make their way onto our furbabies, though.

Two separate section for large and small dogs. Nice and clean. Most of the dogs coming here are super friendly so are the owners. Great little spot for dogs in Jersey City.
Nice place for doggies. You have more sanitary metal water fountain for them, astroturf, a fire hydrant and lots of birds and squirrels to tease them. What more can you ask for? Not too many dogs here on a Saturday afternoon but so far have only met friendly ones. They all seem very well socialized. Spacious for about 12 dogs or so but would hate to be here if there's much more than that. There's a separate area for smaller dogs 23lbs and under so that's a plus if it applies to yours.
Has everything you could want in a park. Football/soccer, baseball, basketball, tennis, and a playground for kids. Lots of open space and the grass is well maintained
The ground is that grey rock stuff that makes everyone dusty when leaving and the dog water fountain is broken. Otherwise, decent space for dogs to run around
This Park has everything and we all do our part to keep it clean. Dog park, open fields, picnic tables/seating, exercise equipment, tennis courts, baseball field, soccer field and massive kids gym structures. My mom loves going for a walk here as it remains brightly lit at night and feels safe. During the day it's beautiful to see all the energy from ppl playing sports and walking around. Can't overstate how clean this park is!

Love that they have a separate section for big and small dogs. Although the little guys tend to be in the big dog section, everyone seems to get along. My senior dog enjoys this spot!
Right now this is my favorite dog park since it uses turf as opposed to real grass/dirt so my Shiba puppy doesn't get dirty. As long as it is kept clean, I will continue coming back :-)

People are super douchey. Leave, don't close gate. Water bowl is filthy. Full of algae. Few people didn't pick up after their dog. Never coming back.
All sizes dog park with a great crowd. Always clean. The turf drains really well, so this is the 5* choice after it rains.
But there's no water fountain / hose. And the gaps in the fence are just big enough for a tennis ball to roll through without being big enough to reach an arm through to get them. Also not that there's very little shade, so make sure you bring water!

Great dog run, although a bit small. The owners are nice too...
Awesome, cute little park with nifty features such as a step-on refillable dog bowl that really blew my mind. All dogs are well behaved and owners are mindful and proactive, great spot for pups and grown dogs alike!
Nice cause it has a big dog small dog separation. Nice crowd there, but the drainage has problems so there were big suspicious smelling puddles that all the dogs ran in.
Nice park, small-ish, but a-ok for our pup. All sizes welcome, and pet parents all friendly and pay attention to their fur- babies. Drainage is great after rain, a big plus!
Decent size dog park next to Duane Reade in Newport. Though when I was there last a few people didn't clean up after their pup. There is some shade near by but not access to water.
Super clean dog park
Nice and clean park. It is well maintained. I like to head there in the morning when there is usually a good group of dogs playing around.
It's so much better since they completed the renovations.
Very nice and clean turf dog park. I wish the fence gaps were smaller though because a tennis ball or tiny dog can easily go through them.
The renovations are nice but some others have mentioned, people often don't pick up after their dog. So. Not much a complaint of the park but more with bad pet parents not cleaning up after their dogs.
Berry Lane Park is great but the dog run is a small square of gravel with no shade. It should be expanded to include the grassy areas on the sides and the space from the bike lane to its current footprint. Absolutely not interesting for dogs. The upside? Community dog owners communicate with each other and look out for one another. So, the neighborhood interest and feeing is there, just wish the facilities matched that community spirit.

The park is Beautiful. They have a dog park, skate park, soccer/football field and nice play area. Cannot wait until it's completely finished.

This is probably my dog’s favorite park in Jersey City. It has tons of space to run around in, lots of shade, and she obviously loves the doggie pool they have set up. There is a separate, smaller area for small dogs, and plenty of benches around the perimeter.

Such a beautiful skate park! I could see it getting too busy soon but I love seeing all of JC's skaters, old and young, have a place to congregate.

Huge run and usually has dogs in it. Plenty of parking unless there's a softball tournament or college soccer game. 2 separate areas for dogs. New benches and awnings for shade.
They just renovated the park and it's so big! It's the only park in Jersey city my dog can really run. Has a water fountain and poop bags available. I come here every day and we love it.
This off-leash dog park has a kiddie pool big enough for most large dogs, three benches, and lots of space for your pups to prance around. There is also a separate area for smaller dogs, though really tiny dogs could squeeze under one part of the fence so beware.
