Good place to take your dogs there to play with their fur friends from the friendly neighborhood.
Clean large 2 areas 1 for small and 1 for big dogs with water.

The City marked this space as a dog park, but in fact this place is dangerous for dogs (see bloody paws in other reviews) and dirty for people.

Gorgeous views and well kept but very small space.
A good small cozy park with a smaller and a larger section for small/big dogs, benches for people. They finally fixed the water fountain this year!
Favorite dog park in LIC. Not too busy, most dogs are friendly, clean.
Much nicer now that they have woodchips down!!!! Its a decent size, big enough to get a good game of fetch going. Water is available to spray down your pup on a hot day.
Update: it's amazing how quickly all the mulch got destroyed at this park. It's now dirt and exposed rocks. Not a good place to bring your dog anymore, they are likely to hurt themselves in all the rocks. They should really update this park with pavement or turf
This dog park has become great with the upgrades. We live much closer to the Vernon Blvd Park and we come here anyway. Hopefully the Vernon Blvd Park takes the same path and replaces the disgusting gravel and mud with mulch

Pretty great dog park! It has gravel as the surface, but it's relatively high quality and mostly rounded off. Two sections, which is useful for those with smaller or unsociable dogs. Large area for dogs to run, usually extra bags, and the regulars keep it clean. Watch that you don't lose a more athletic dog over the back wall, which is quite short. And grab yourself a slice from next door!
Finally, a transformation of this dog park! With rubble clearing and fresh mulch. Looking forward to using it more often and to finally having a defend dog run in the Court Square neighborhood.
Average dog park. Kinda muddy and your dog will be dirty after but gets the job done.

Really nice dog park with three separate sections for dogs. I brought my golden retriever and he had a great time. The only downside is no parking so get there early.
Cute dog park that has manageable pebbles.. Great to stop by here, because of its medium space dogs seem to get a little bored quickly here.
The GOAT of LIC dog parks! Only downsides : no running water and relentless mosquitoes.

Dirt park with a lot of rocks which is not ideal for dogs especially when they want to run around. My pup’s paw pads were injured.
much better than the waterfront dog run. this one has gravel, the other has cement. This area is much bigger, plenty of room for dogs to really run or chase after a ball or each other..has large and small sections and in the summer months , water for the pooches and even doggie poo bags ...
Terrible. Rocks cover the grind completely and no separation for larger or smaller dogs. Nope.
This dog park seems highly rated, so I went with my puppy. It was a nice size and had two zones for larger and smaller dogs, but what I don't get (and neither my pup or myself liked) is that the ground is covered in small stones... No grass, no dirt. Stones. Why? It's not good for their feet, a pita to clean droppings, overall dumb. Won't be going back, though this seems a trend in LIC.

Dog park with no fun limits ! LIC is a favorite residential good with park and recreational area along the east river which throws no shadow of a doubt the perfect hangout scoop. Mind the ferry, the stop is at Hunter point and takes you to places down the river rowing , all the way to dumbo . Anyway, if you have a pet which you probably have one or at least passion for one , take them here. Clean , friendly and fulfilling concrete plaza with fur balls running around . Love it
Great little urban dog park/run to set Rover free in Gentry State Park area of Long Island City. Complete with pooping scooping bags and trash can you can smell from outside the park run area plus many friends passing by making for an exciting outing for everyone involved!
Lots more space and real terrain (gravel instead of gross hard flat pavement like the fancy schmancy dog park by the river) for the dogs to run laps around all afternoon, and plenty enough space to play a good old game of fetch. Also has a covered area for sunny days when an you want some shelter from the sun, and a smaller fenced off area for little pups who don’t, err, play well with others.
