My husband and I invited another couple to join us in our cooking class. The four of us had a truly enjoyable evening. Chef Davide skillfully guided us through the preparation of the menu we had selected. He was an excellent instructor and we had such a fun time creating an absolutely delicious meal that we all thoroughly enjoyed!
Chef Davide did an excellent job guiding us in the class. The pre-class instructions were clear, in order to be ready to cook.
The helpful tips he shared along the way also made this a worthwhile experience.
Showing the participants what he was doing, pointing out the consistency of the risotto and gelato as we proceeded was key.
He was easy to understand and often checked if we were good or had questions.
I would enjoy taking another class from Chef Davide.
We loved Chef Maggie’s vegan French cooking class via Cozymeal. Despite having taken other cooking classes in the past, we learned new knife skills techniques and facts related to the meal from Maggie. She’s a delight to be around and we had fun cooking with her. We particularly appreciated how she set us up for success: focusing our efforts on chopping and tasting for balance, while explaining her cooking technique along the way. The meal was absolutely delicious. We are excited to make it again with her instruction in mind.
Chef Roxy was really engaging, patient and encouraging. Her explanations of what we were looking for, particularly in terms of texture were spot on. I was a little skeptical that our first attempt at falafel would be successful, but I have to say, they were really good - better than many restaurants I have been to. I recommend this class.
Did a dinner for two as a gift for my son and his friend. Glorious meal, great conversation, well executed evening at home with surf and turf.
We booked Chef Stefano for a class with our mom for her birthday, and we really enjoyed it. We also had a junior participant for a good portion of the class. With 3 generations in the class, Chef was friendly, funny, patient, and informative with all of us. We learned a lot about the food we were preparing and all had fun. Thanks, Chef!

We booked Culinary Artistas for our baby shower, and we really enjoyed the space.

Pros:
- There was plenty of space and seating for our guests, and there were even toys and books for the kids who attended.
- The kitchen had a ton of items in case we needed something (like extra cutting knives and forks).
- Really easy to coordinate with the venue and they were very prompt with answering any questions we had.

Cons:
- Although parking wasn't too difficult to find, it was a bit pricier simply because it's Ghirardelli Square.
- A lot of random people kept walking in the front door. In hindsight, we should have taped a "Private Event" sign on the door.

I recently had my daughter's 8th birthday at Culinary Artistas & it was a perfect experience from start to finish. Booking it was professionally handled. Moreover, I made a mistake with scheduling & they accommodated my needs at the last minute - i'm eternally grateful for that. The kids loved the experience which was handled by 3 ladies who went above and beyond. It was a true team building experience as well as being fun and a super special experience for the group of girls. thanks so much!!
Our firm spent our holiday party cooking with Emily. We had a great time and learned a lot! She made us feel like we were cooking with a friend at home. Highly recommend!!!
Our team had an amazing experience with Chef Dirk. We had a group of 16 and wanted to do something special but different during our annual holiday gathering so we choose a team building cooking class. We choose the Italian Pasta, and everyone had so much fun making and enjoy eating. Chef Dirk was awesome! Thank you again for the special evening...
Chef Emily was GREAT! She was great at breaking everything down and making everything make sense. This class is great for any from a complete beginner to an experience cooker. A+
The weekend brunch with Chef Mike was amazing!! The meal was as delicious as it looks on the menu! He was welcoming and personable. Everything was well organized, with the perfect amount of work for everyone to learn, prep and cook. We thoroughly enjoyed our Weekend Brunch experience with Chef Mike. He shared some great tips and tricks! This was our first time trying Cozymeal! He set the bar pretty high! Can’t wait for our next experience!
It is always better to learn while doing, this is really the experience we had with Emily. She was really competent, and made us confident, we could ask questions and improve our skills.
Plus, the appartment is really nice so we hade a good moment cooking and dining.
My team and I have worked with Culinary Artistas on multiple occasions over the last few years. We could not be more pleased with Vanessa and her team's amazing work in hosting both virtual and in-person events. The cooking classes, wine tasting, and over all experience are so great for team building events of any size! Highly recommend!!
I had the pleasure of organizing an event at Culinary Artistas and I couldn't be more thrilled with the outcome. The party was amazing and everything went off without a hitch.

One of the biggest reasons for the success of the event was the professionalism of Vanessa and her crew. From the moment we began planning the event, Vanessa was there to help us every step of the way. She was responsive, organized and always willing to go the extra mile to make sure our event was a success. On the day of the event, her team was equally as professional, they were attentive to our guests and made sure everything was running smoothly.

The space itself is also beautiful and welcoming. The atmosphere is perfect for any event, the decor is elegant, fun, and modern, and the lighting is perfect. The space has everything you need to throw a perfect event.

Culinary Artistas was perfect for our event and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to host an event. The space is beautiful, the staff is professional, and the location is perfect- by the water, easy parking- we could not ask for more.

I have had the pleasure of attending two separate events at the Culinary Artistas studio, both of which were organized and hosted by Culinary Artistas staff. These events were an absolute blast to say the least. The Artistas team does an amazing job making the experience fun, intimate, and interactive for all guests. They offer a wide variety of fun culinary and beverage packages as well as entertainment, music, and other activities. I will certainly be booking future events of my own, and recommending to others.
Culinary Artistas partnered with HR Girlfriends for a Saturday virtual cook-a-long class for its members. What a treat! We made Udon Noodles and they were very tasty. The entire session was engaging, fun, and informative. Food 🍲 and music 🎶 is the perfect way to start the weekend. I’m looking forward to bringing the cooking event to my organization to build stronger teams and engage employees.

I tried supporting this org with $2,800 for a private event for 14 people but they had bigger fish to fry 🤷🏻‍♂️ I asked in Sept for a date in Nov. Six weeks later, they offer me a date at the end of Nov, at which point I've already rescheduled with Thai Cooking with Sunshine.

Then they had the audacity to send me an automated email asking for a corporate sponsorship for their "teach a community to fish" event. What a joke.

Had a wonderful class with Emily at the end of May. We learned lots of new skills, had great conversation. Emily is a delightful host/teacher and of course, the food was delicious! Highly recommended. We will be back for another class as soon as we are back in SF

I had a wonderful experience at Culinary Artistas. Vanessa was thorough and vibrant in her explanations of cuisine, culture, processes, and history. We enjoyed ourselves with music, flavors, fragrances... definitely a multi-sensory experience. If you love food and want to learn more about it from someone who loves food, too, this is the place for you and your kiddos.

We brought in 8 software engineers with a fairly limited set of cooking skills. :) Emily was charming and took charge of the training while simultaneously making everyone feel welcome and comfortable. Emily's venue is beautiful and the event was a huge success. As a team building exercise this was second to none. Also, the food turned out wonderfully! Be sure to ask about the cocktail option as well.

Our family and friends had such an amazing time celebrating our daughter's 10th birthday this weekend. Culinary Artista's exceeded our expectations, everything was plug n play, the kids loved baking the cakes and the view was incredible.

I really enjoy every 18 Reasons cooking class and dinner I attend. Their teachers are fun, organized, and dynamic, and I return to the recipes I have learned from them all the time!
Super experience. Emily is a fantastic cook and a great teacher. We all learned so much that night. Also fabulously delicious dinner at the end. The Woebot team loved this it was a great social team building experience. I recommend it 100% The staff are already asking when we can do it again!
My boyfriend and I were gifted two passes for Christmas for this culinary class and we couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. Emily was hands on, attentive, and informative in her presentation of ingredients and recipes. Definitley recommend her class for a special date night where you’ll leav with more than a few new tricks for the kitchen.

If you are looking for a place to bond with your team, relax, learn a trick or two about cooking and enjoy some fantastic food at the end, you got it all at 18 Reasons! Our event was hosted by Michael, Kourtney, Emily, and Chef Jaime. All of them have been so incredibly nice and helpful, and they made us feel so welcome!
The venue itself has this French countryside allure to it, it’s super clean and it’s a fantastic space for a happy Friday afternoon with friends (or friends to be) family and more.
Our team has prepared the juiciest and most flavorful chicken I’ve ever tasted, along with an amazing salad with a very refreshing dressing made from scratch, and other vegetarian delicatessens. The crown jewel piece of our Team lunch at 18 Reasons was the apple pie topped with ice cream. So light, so tenderly crispy, just enough to make your taste buds perform a happy dance and send you home with a memory of a great mid-April afternoon spent in the company of amazing people! I’m looking forward to our next Team outing at 18 Reasons and I highly recommend it to everyone who loves great food for soul and stomach!

Went for a community meal. Pretty good flavors but the ramen was cold when it came out. Good space, friendly staff.

Emily has a lot of great tips and is EXTREMELY patient with people. I wanted to grab the knife away and chop things myself most of the time, but she kept her cool and let the newbies learn. (Hence, why I'm not a teacher...nor chef). The menu was great (always is - I've been to many classes!) and I love the casual vibe and beautiful view. I'm always learning a fun new tip when I go - and hope to return again soon!

Loved Shakirah Simley's canning class. She's a knowledgeable and delightful instructor. We went home and put the new skill to use and have tomatoes and peaches to last the winter.

A group of us went to 18 Reasons for a working meeting event. It was perfect for our needs. The owners were very attentive, the food was fresh, so tasty, and was a great representation of the space. Just what I was hoping for. They also had great internet and projecting capabilities, perfect for work group meetings.

Awesome place for a meal. Community focus, super tasty. Love their producer dinners where you hear a farmer, or brewer, or vinter talk about their craft, and you get to enjoy their tasty product. Yum!
