This is the best hospital with the best staff I have ever been to. My youngest daughter was born here and it was one of the cleanest rooms I’ve ever seen and one of the most helpful staffs I’ve ever dealt with. I was here for seven days back in March 20 22 and again very clean place. Very nice people. The food is really good, my opinion. And I checked in the night of Halloween this year and so far through all my pain. This has been such a great experience. I can’t thank these folks enough. I appreciate that Summerlin Hospital has taken the time to hire such a great staff and make sure that their facility is top-notch. Thank you all .
This place was easily one of the best facilities that I’ve ever been to. The care and attention to detail that every staff member gave really made an impression on how healthcare professionals should treat patients and what quality of care looks like. I’m beyond grateful for the all of the staff. Everyone should strive to give quality treatment and care to their patients the way that this facility does.
I had a two day stay after surgery and encountered multiple people who were assigned to my room from nurses, house keeping, meal service, to the person who drove my wheelchair at discharge. All of them were professional, kind, and caring with the exception of one. She could not even put the thermometer in my mouth correctly and didn’t speak more than eight words to me the night she was on shift. I would say that is impressive with the amount of people I encountered. I’m very happy with my stay and the care I received. I also love there are no visiting hours restrictions and I was in a private room. Makes a huge difference.
I had a total hysterectomy and then was admitted for the night, I can’t express how much I appreciate the staff of
Nurses that took care of me on the sixth floor. Alyssa, Michelle, Zelle; Ana, and Fele just
To name a few & were so lovely and caring during
My stay.
Thank you for all the hardworking staff @ Summerlin Hospital. I love the entire staff working on the 6th floor 9/28/24- 9/29/24. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

What great care I received this morning. Dr. Heaps has the best bedside manors. He was very professional, explained everything to me and answered all my questions. His energy was awesome and will make you feel better by itself. My triage nurse and tech(Lus) were awesome. My nurses in the back (Ms. Christina & I didn't get the other RN's name), my registration tech (Didn't get her name) and my X-ray tech Jody were all awesome. Thank you for taking great care of me.

The hospital was clean and the service was outstanding. Again THANK YOU. I just picked up my prescriptions and I'm laying back down.
Pre admission, testing, admission, procedure, recovery, release. All smooth. Show @ 530a, brought back @ 545a. Procedure done by 930a, “ you should be released by noon”. Was getting dressed and in my car by 12:20. Smooth. Haven’t felt this good in years after the Ablation by Dr Vegara. Nurses in the cardiac unit Joe and Tara…. Fab. Thank you.
Amazing stay came in with severe pain and they acted fast . I loved every single nurse and Doctor who took care of me while my stay in this 5 star hospital! Everyone in the 6th floor was amazing went above and beyond to make my stay the best no one like hospitals but they made me forget I was in one at some level.! The Emergency night crew did great as well ! Top notch hospital! 10/10 besides my illness !! Great food super clean !!!
Clean, well-equipped and attractive facility. Staff is slow, but friendly and mostly competent. A bit disorganized at times since nurses are diverse in quality, training and experience. Attending physicians, technicians, and other doctors are patient and knowledgeable. Patient parking is limited and virtually impossible to find a spot, unless you park on the farthest garage roof.
Having neck surgery and my nurses especially jeana are the kindest and most special people. How do thank these wonderful people for the help and care provided. I feel so fortunate to be in such great care .
Wonderful , surprise how the team from this hospital took care the my husband that surfed an crise from Gallstones and the dedication and Be careful to attend to him promptly, worrying about him, giving him first aid, which was essential to prevent him from suffering a heart attack, as his blood pressure was very high and the pain was intense. very grateful to everything. from the excellent doctors to the nurses and attendants. Thank you very much!

Honestly this is the best hospital I have ever had to visit. My mom is battling cancer and was sent to this hospital on the 5th floor due to complications. While there the staff from the doctors, nurses, etc were all nice and respectful. Very caring of the situation and extremely accommodating. My mom was moved to Nathan Adelson today. I just wanted to write this review to show my appreciation to the staff there.
I had my son here almost 4 years ago, and I am only saying this now because back then I was timid and didn’t have the courage to stand up for us..
Labor and delivery crew was great, the only complaint is the nurse kinda pushed the epidural on me even though I had said I wanted to try to do without.
My major complaint was with the NICU nurses, specifically Holly. My son was born with Down syndrome, which we were not expecting, but holly INSISTED he had DS before test results even came back. She also said, AND I QUOTE, “well look at him! He doesn’t look like you or your husband.” Seriously so ableist, disrespectful and rude. And then to not let me attempt to breastfeed him because, AND I QUOTE, “Downs babies can’t breastfeed” (also a quote by holly). Not only is this disheartening, but it’s degrading to push stereotypes on a newborn special needs baby AND their first time parents, scared to death of the journey ahead.
Hopefully holly is gone by now. You need to teach your staff how to treat parents and their babies especially their special needs baby. You need to thoroughly check the attitudes of your staff, because you should NOT have an ableist working in a hospital, where EVERYONE is disabled in some form. And instead of saying “I’m so sorry, I’m so sorry”, say “congratulations!” And then POLITELY EDUCATE your patients on their responsibilities as a special needs parent.
I hope now you’re doing better. My son and I will never come back.
The emergency room is awful. Came in with chest pains and because the EKG was clear there was no sense of urgency to help even though my daughter was in constant pain in her chest. The chest pains continued for over 2 hours. We were told they were waiting for a bed to take blood. I thought after paying the emergency room deductible of 400.00 my daughter would be promptly seen. The triage nurse appeared sympathetic but that’s about it. Plus that door going into the triage is noisy to the point of aggravation. There is more security staff than nurses.
DO NOT GO! My boyfriend went here for an emergency appendectomy in February 2024. WAY overcharged - the total was $114,000. His appendix was close to bursting and they said he couldn’t fly back to our home state for the surgery. The price for this procedure in New York City would be maximum $34,000 plus hospital stay ($5000/day). There is no reason why an inferior hospital in Las Vegas is charging over 3x what a New York hospital would for a very standard procedure. Even the hospital estimate was $34,000 from the website of MountainView itself. His procedure was a simple laparoscopic surgery with no complications. This is the exact reason why the health system in the United States is broken. Hospitals like MountainView are predatory towards patients from out of state looking to make a quick buck or bankrupt these patients for their own gain.
Very disappointed in the service here to say the least. Better to have your appendix burst flying home to a hospital with some decency and standards than to deal with a bill you have to pay off for years to come from MountainView Hospital.
Just have to say anytime I have had to come here the staff has always been kind courteous concerned and extremely helpful. Both my children were born here and recently had to visit for my youngest at the ER and they always are so helpful and kind. Thank you Mountain View hospital staff. Your hard work does not go unnoticed. So thankful.
I had my baby boy at MountainView Hospital. Everybody did an amazing job educating me every step of the way. I loved the nurses - especially Jacky from Labor and Delivery (morning shift I believe). She did an excellent job - I’m talking about ABOVE AND BEYOND. We need more nurses like Jacky and her work ethic. The only complain I have is when I settled in my room after checking in, the toilet seat wasn’t cleaned thoroughly and there were blood stains on it. Also, when I transferred to postpartum care the room I was assigned to had a little problem with the AC but the nurse put in a work order and it was fixed fast. Overall, I would recommend going to this hospital for giving birth.
