Cash cow. 5000 euros for one night. 500 euros for ER. RUN IF YOU CAN. this place is dreadful. Promises made and never kept. Nice people in international department but medical care was third worldly. Egads what a bad choice.

Literally lied about scheduling an appointment for us to get emergency refill of medicine. When we arrived, no help offered, another appointment that we don't know if it will be honored was given for a week away. We have run out of medicine. We now have to go to the emergency room. We came before and they said they don't work with our insurance even though it's on the insurance network, ASISA. Awful awful place.

I went into the hospital with a broken ankle after an accident that happened while visiting the city for a few days. The hospital diagnosed me with a level 2 sprained ankle and casted my foot prematurely causing a severe skin reaction to the constraints of the cast. Although the service was very quick (I was in and out of the hospital in 2 hours) the quality of medical care wasn’t adequate. Upon my arrival home, doctors found a chip in my ankle bone and the blistering has delayed my healing process significantly. Overall, the hospital visit cost me €941.63 (X-rays, crutches and a plaster cast).

Avoid. Poor communications, poor organization, poorly trained nurses, understaffed, no follow-up by doctors after surgery, and extremely high and unjustified charges (very likely scammed/overcharged).
No response to urgent requests by email and WhatsApp for a follow-up appointment with a doctor.
A very unsatisfactory treatment and cannot be recommended.

SCAMMERS. Extremely incompetent doctors who are just out to scam your money. I presented with a painful sore throat, and the incompetent Dr Steven Lopez Bernal immediately suggested a CT scan. It was absolutely laughable — what real doctor would suggest a CT scan as the first diagnostic step for a sore throat?? More like CT-scam. Maybe he would have suggested brain surgery for my sore throat too, if his colleague didn’t stop him from doing so.
He also didn’t collect my medical history and ordered a whole slew of blood tests for me, presumably with the objective of milking money out of my pockets when I’m sick and weak. For example, even though I was vaccinated for Hepatitis B, he went ahead and ordered a blood test for Hepatitis B. Of course the results will be positive for antibodies, that’s how vaccines work you incompetent little dummy “doctor”.
This hospital exhibits the hallmarks of a business seeking to maximise profits with no concern over the ethics of taking it from sick, desperate people. They run tests not because you need it to determine the best course of treatment, but because they can charge you for it. For example, they prescribed me with medicine on the same day, even though my blood test results only came back 10 days later (by that time, my medicine course was already completed) — and I had to email them to get the results. The blood test results had no impact on the treatment I received, and should not have been done. Except of course, they did it because they wanted money from me.
The nurses seemed good but the doctors don’t seem to care about their patients beyond milking cash out of them. Might I remind you again that CT-scam Dr Steven Lopez Bernal suggested a CT scan for my sore throat?
I called them afterwards to ask about the blood tests and why they were necessary, and the person on the line sounded frustrated and bored. Almost like you’re not worth the time after you’ve paid your bill. She told me to email them instead because it’s “easier for her”. She told me that Dr Steven Lopez Bernal explained in his email why the blood tests were done — he did not. They literally tested for 20-40 things, and his explanation was a sentence or so. I had to call up my doctor from Singapore, send them the blood test results, to finally get competent care and explanation for the results I received from this scam of a hospital. The hospital and their doctor did not even bother to explain the blood test results for the 20-40 things they ordered. They just give you a one sentence summary in bad English.
Some doctors became doctors to save lives, and others do it for the money. And then some others do it so that they can suggest CT scans for sore throats. What an absolute disgrace to the medical profession.
Look at their reply below — they’re asking me to email them to “resolve” the issue, but I’ve already emailed and called them before, and their response was just as incompetent as CT-scam “Dr” Steven Lopez Bernal, and they had no interest in talking to me or explaining my blood test results after I’ve paid them.

As a study abroad student, this hospital was great at providing me the medical assistance I needed. If you need to see a general practitioner, head to the ER and walk to the international desk. They’ll get you all the help you need. Come prepared with documentation and ID!

I highly recommend Dr Gabriel Cardenas Rivera for his exceptional surgical skills and compassionate care. My recent surgery was a success because of her expertise.
I had a great experience at HM Delfos. The staff were caring and the facility was clean and safe. I wholeheartedly recommend it for medical care.

My first negative review ever, but the situation calls for it. Please, be aware that the hospital charge EUR 450 for a visit - this is NOT something they will tell you in advance. They charge a deposit and when you ask them how much the visitation costs, they will not give you a straight answer. Naturally, as a private hospital the cost will be higher, however, with this one, there is 0 transparency. The doctor spent 1 minute looking at my symptoms with 0 examination (not even checking my temperature), and my case was re-directed to a public hospital, and then took EUR 450. I would be very careful before wasting time and money here.
