HHA is a great school. I came to the school 3rd through 7th grade and it was awesome. Everyone has at least two friends there and no one is excluded in anything based on how they look or act.

It’s very nice. Some teachers show favoritism to students who have older students. Other than that, the school is good.

To be honest, the school is okay. Most of the time the teachers or staff just ignore problems that are going on in the school. For example, the coaches at recess don't do anything but sit there. Some of the staff is friendly but to me, some are the opposite. I enjoy getting a good education just not wanting to see problems not being handled everyday.

I completed an application for my daughter and she did not get in to the program. It would’ve been common courtesy to send a letter notifying me that my daughter did not get in the program. A general letter that can be sent to all applicants that did not get accepted would’ve been nice. Simple professionalism.

I been going to this school from k-5 this is a good school, on graduation i even Cried , I’ll start school over just to go back .

HHA is one of the best schools I have ever been to I got here in third grade and my teachers help me make friends so I always felt welcome. Most of my friends have been here since Pre-K but they welcomed me as if I have been there that long as well.

Hampsetad Hill Academy is a great school it has lots of fun after school programs and clubs there is basically something for everyone. All the teachers are nice and care about their students. Also the kids there are very nice and welcoming to new students so students are very liable to have friends at this school.

Objectively the best E/MS in the city. It has the best staff (especially me) and has the best students. It runs like a well-oiled machine. Granted, this is a biased review, so do the research for yourself. I guarantee that the data on this school will back my claims.

All of my 4 children and nephews have went to school here before. Lots of kids cut class and run the halls several kids have even left the building and ran the streets where anything could have happen to them. They need security officers

This school is great! The teachers are great and SOME of the students are respectful. I would like to acknowledge two teachers who made my seventh grade experience a hundred times better. I won't say their names, but they are just the best teachers ever.

*Tangent warning*

The only problem with this school is the lunchroom. I mildly dislike the lunchroom because my table was just bad. For some unexplainable reason, my classmates got away with sitting at different tables. I don't know if we could do that, but what I was told was that students must sit at their homeroom tables. There was also this one kid who sat near me, but I didn't know him, and he didn't know me. Oh yeah, and near the end of lunch he would ask to use the restroom, but in reality he was skipping lunch.

So yeah, lunch is horrible but the rest is great!

This school is very unprofessional and the staff just sweeps behavior problems under the rug I feel like the staff has there picks on children they show favoritism to. The staff is very unprofessional. My daughter has been been bullied for years and they still continue to put her in the class with the girls who bullies her. The school itself is good and some of the teachers are amazing. I just can't believe you have grown people who behaves unprofessional disrespectful and rude

My son has attended this school for two years for camp and I we have had a great experience. My son has adhd and when I informed them they told me about putting him in a special program to help him out. The camp is reasonably,Its around two hundred for the summer minus swimming which is probably an extra twenty. You can't bet that since most are that weekly. It was a few days he couldn't go because of the heat but it's Baltimore school system 🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️🤷🏽‍♂️🤷🏽‍♂️🤷🏽‍♂️.I wont fault them for that..

Terrible, i go do there with a few friends and every day we go there we are picked out of the bunch I get in trouble for the smallest things such as, pencils our jackets and many more things and they don't get anybody else in trouble but us and all they do is assume things and claim you a bad kid and cut you off when you're speaking and try to get your parents and feed in the things, one of the worst schools this year back in the day it was really good went back in the day I mean 2013 through 2016, but ever since 2017 and 18 is been a terrible school and experience to even go at, Christ Lansdowne is better than this... The teacher pick you out of the bunch of blame me for things they don't tell the full story you can suspended for small things God one of the kids said this "I'll rape you're dead babies " and I told him to STFU, and he gets 20 minutes detention but I get an hour detention for telling my teacher she wrote something wrong on the board, absolutely terrible School.

my bus drivers are always super late and usually by the time we get to school it is to late to get breakfast. The leave us outside at the bus stop soaking wet when they should be there at7:35 but we only get picked up at 8:00

This school has been very bad since I went there from 1998 to 2008, Disrespectful people, unprofessional staff, Became worse once my sister started,honestly this school needs to be shut down

This is the best elementary school i ever been too!! The principal is suuper nice to children. The teachers are kinda strict here and there but they are very sympathetic at the same time. I will recommend this school to every child

Please run far and do not enroll your child at Edgewood Elementary Ghetto School. The Principal is ugly and think she is God gift to the world. She always want to put out their she is Dr. But in order to get respect with your title you have to act professional with your title. The ugly Principal always taking off and never at school probably stealing time. And to fake ass assistant principal Ms.Smith she always lying telling people she the assistant principal like go take your meds and sit down. The teachers not all bad but some are and they fuss at the kids like the kids are adults. And they allow the kids to hurt each other wrestling. Straight ghetto. The lunch pizza is hard and dry. The school need to be shut down due to safety concerns. The Principal need to be fired. She fake towards the kids like she better than everyone. Clearly if she think she is better thsn someone than she need to remove her man looking self and go have several seats because all that damn make-up and big head need to sit the hell down. The teachers act like kids and very immature. You make one teacher mad than all the teachers get mad 😊 what a complete ghetto mess. Children at that school is out of their zone school for the parents who work at the school. I can go on and on. Please do not even enroll your cat or dog at that school👿👿👿run fast with your child and go enroll at another school. Oh and broken glass on the playground which is a huge lawsuit for if a child get cut and you would think they would have someone clean the glass up off the playground. The fake principal need to go clean it up and do some work because she is lazy and she only come out when it is a talent show or any type of event which is only to be seen. Be seen doing some work and not being fake with the kids ummm fake Dr. She probably cheated on her test just to get the label Dr. She is a complete joke. And Ms.Smith the fake assistant principal all she does is wobble herself around and yell at the kids all the time. That school is bootcamp not a friendly environment. Do not enroll your child or cat or dog or pet bird or pet mice. Run!!!!!!

Garrett Heights Elementary was once a jewel to the neighborhood, but after the Middle School was added, the quality dropped, likely due to lack of resources. I attended it years ago. Do not put your child in those facilities unless you want them beat up or brought into a dangerous culture.

I wish I could recommend this school, but there isn't anything to recommend.

It's just crazy over 30 kids to one teacher. Kids aren't safe from other children. I wouldn't have ever put my grandson in that school had I known what I know now

This is a blue-ribbon school.
My son loves his kindergarten class. The teachers and staff are excellent and go above-and-beyond the call of duty. They successfully teach the children to be loving and accepting of everyone.
I've sent my older kids to some highly accredited private schools but this public school has been the best of all. It is an oasis in the inner city.
My son went in with pre-k reading and math skills and halfway through the semester he can easily rattle-off his sight words, sound out three-and-four-letter words, and add and subtract, despite his attention problems.
If you're looking to send your child to a public school around Old Goucher/Barclay or anywhere else nearby, and you haven't gotten into a Montessori, (or even if you have), DEFINITELY check out Cecil.

This is an awesome school. My children loved it and love it as well as myself. The principal is very understanding, supportive and a great asset to the community and these children. I appreciate how quickly they get on top of things to make any situation better for the student's. Read, read, read!!!

I love this school so much I had to write a review. My son attends pre-k here and his teachers Ms.Hull & Mrs.Taylor are absolutely amazing. The whole staff as a whole are amazing, it's like you have to absolutely love teaching and work with kids to work there well at least that's the impression I get. I couldn't have picked a better school for my son and I would definitely recommend this school to someone else. GREAT SCHOOL GREAT PRINCIPAL GREAT TEACHERS GREAT STAFF.

This place has been giving me spam calls for about a week. I asked the receptionist nicely to take me off the call list after I explained that I tryed to opt out of calls multiple times. She then hung up on me. I called back to ask for a manager but she hung up on me once again and said "stop playing with the phone". I would like to get in contact with a supervisor so I can vent my concern for her unprofessional attitude.

This school is great they push the kids to do there best and i love it my child has been the since 4th she is currently in 5th and she love it

Cecil Elementary is a great school. The staff and principal are very professional and kind. The school is clean and I always feel at home every time I enter the building. My child is making great progress at Cecil Elementary

It is a pretty good school but the students will kill you for three years.

Horrible school, child pulled sharp object out on my daughter, parent conference and no outcome. Boy stole money from my daughter's purse school said its nothing they can do. This school is garbage, limited teachers and volunteers acting as teachers. School needs to be shut down. Principal is never available to speak to nor vice principal. Who do you call if the school is not available to help.

Worst School you can ever go. If you are hispanic you will be dicriminated and bullied every day. My two childs are being getting robbed and assaulted in school and nobody does nothing. You go to conferences just to realize that you are wasting your time. They have a lot of staff but nobody does nothing to improve and embrace the people who are wrong doing.

I went there my 4th and 5th grade year and it is the best school I have been to in my opinion. It has amazing Teams/Clubs like there National Academic Team. There workers an staff they care for each student like there own they pay attention to ALL pupils . Shout out Ms. Pingle and the amazing teachers, they don't just pass you along they care about students education. If you are thinking about sending your child it is the best choice from my perspective. I am now homeschooling and yes would rather go back there. I just love Lakeland some much! LP4L(Lion pride for life) BYEEEEEEEE :) P.S the food could be a bit better. but such sweet lunch ladies and I loved pizza Fridays.

Very rude people and understaffed... Not very mature when it comes to altercations.. school is filled with bullies my son was bullied all of 2015 and stabbed by a classmate with a pencil. Only to return the following year to be placed in the same class with the same to young men who tortured him 😥 please don't send your children here
