The summer camp experience was fantastic! The instructors were incredible with the kids, and we were very impressed with how much they learned in such a short amount of time. I would highly recommend School of Rock to anyone with a kid interested in learning an instrument in a fun way.
My 6 yr old had a demo lesson for the rookie class yesterday and he loved it. The instructor was amazing, the facility is nice. No complaints. He will definitely be returning!

I've taken lessons from Michael Kotur for the last few years and have had an amazing experience. As an intermediate adult student, it has been difficult finding someone that has the right style for me.
He's incredibly patient, but knows how/when to challenge you, and is focused on my musical needs 100%. It's rare to find someone who is good at explaining challenging musical concepts simply, but he manages to do it on a weekly basis. He's always forward-thinking and encouraging me to push myself musically as well.

Lauren is wonderful! She spoke into some insecurities I have carried for a long time and built me up and encouraged me. I noticed almost immediate improvement by following her vocal instructions and doing the warm ups regularly. She is a good listener and made me feel very comfortable.

Our daughter is learning is how to play Ukulele from Michael Kotur. He teachers her the principles of music that she can apply to music playing for her lifetime. He incorporates music into lessons based on her interest and what she can play at our church. She looks forward to lessons each week.
Joel is a great teacher. I decided to learn banjo in my 30s with no previous musical background, and he made learning easy and fun! He is approachable and patient and I'd recommend him to anyone.
Mr. Michael is great musician and a fun teacher. He has inspired by daughter to stick with guitar with his positive and spirited nature! I highly recommend music lessons with Mr. Michael
Michael Kotur is an outstanding guitar teacher and I highly recommend him to anyone seeking guitar lessons, of any age. He is funny, easy-going, consistent, professional, and personable. He can adapt to any student's needs and skill level. Both of my children have been taking lessons with "Mr. Michael," and they (and I) love him. My children have played a variety of instruments, with exposure to different teachers throughout their journeys. Mr. Michael is the best. It is obvious he has spent decades of his life teaching students how to play the guitar.
Michael is a great guitar teacher. He uses very unique methods that make it fun and memorable. I am convinced that the reason my daughter continues to take guitar lessons has everything to do with Michael Kotur teaching them
I attended the Scotty Bratchar seminar today at the Music Salon. This session was incredible. Thank you to Sean and Scotty for an fantastic afternoon. So I took my son for a trial run with a group of kids at this school last week on a Monday at the Madison Rd location, which he was so excited about, so he went in with (i forget her name..jenny?) and he was just excited about all the instruments, it was only him and another boy. I guess my son was too much for her because she said that he was not really focused on just one instrument and kind of all over the place and recommend Music Therapy because she is a music therapist and that an hour was too much for him, ( I was kind of shock and a little hurt that I didn't even ask her any other questions, but said ok and left) but she didn't recommend her services for a personal session or anything, so my husband called the next day and asked about the lady (the music therapist) that did the trial run with Aaron if she can call him back and recommend her services or if she has a referral. its been a little over a week and she has not returned his call. I also did tell them in the beginning he has a vision impairment) I just wish someone would of reached out and recommended something because my son loves music and he is not a bad kid.
I started taking lessons with Sean at the beginning of the year, and I love it. Sean is a fantastic teacher who does a great job of explaining things to a relative beginner like me. Moreover, I'm blind, so it sometimes takes a bit of extra creativity and ingenuity to teach things in a non-visual way. Sean has always done an awesome job on this front. We cover a lot in our hour-long lessons, and I love how he makes sure we recap everything at the end so nothing gets lost. I love how most of our lessons are built around different songs, which is cool because I learn some awesome riffs and pick up some really helpful techniques from each song that I can use in the future. I feel like I've come a long way since I started, and I look forward to our continued progress. I'd also recommend Sean and the Music Salon to anyone who wants to learn an instrument. No matter what level you're at or how old you are, it's never too late to start!
Fantastic all around! Two of my children, and myself, have been taking lessons for 1.5years (1 acoustic guitar, 1 electric guitar, 1 baritone ukulele). We’ve had a awesome experience with Sean who has excellent patience with our developing skill levels, caters to individual music preferences to play, and continues to help us grow into better musicians. Also, the new studio and services provided are great! The guitar spa is convenient, efficient and we have utilized it for guitar setup tweaking and string changes.
We highly recommend Cincinnati Music Village! Every single teacher truly cares about the students, whether they give them private lessons or teach in Orchestra or group lessons. All three of our boys play violin here and they love all of the teachers.

Our family has been with these wonderful teachers for 11 years. We love how they have nurtured an appreciation for the arts. Through well-organized group classes, private lessons, camps, and performance opportunities, these teachers have filled our home and enriched our lives with beautiful music. It has been an incredible journey watching our kids learn an instrument and be able to perform with confidence beginning at age 5 on up through middle school and beyond. We cherish the values taught here of hard work, listening to others, and challenging oneself to always improve!

Our daughter has taken lessons from Ms. Rose for over 13 years, and we absolutely LOVE how nurturing the faculty are. This Suzuki program is top notch and the parent community is really wonderful, as well. Highly recommend!
The Cincinnati Music Village is phenomenal. My daughter takes viola lessons from Rose Reidmiller and we couldn’t ask for a better teacher. She is kind, patient but is constantly encouraging her to stretch her limits. Couldn’t recommend them more!
As a flautist, I can’t say enough good things about the Suzuki program run by Ms. Rose and the piano program run by Ms. Mary. All the teachers at Cincinnati Music Village are very talented with their instruments but also at giving the love of music to the kids. They make it fun to learn! If your kids want to quit, Cincinnati Music Village will give them the spark they need to continue and be musicians for life!
Suzuki program features highly qualified teachers, certified in Suzuki, and with many years of teaching experience. My children have been taking violin with Ms. Elaine, since they were 6 and groups with Ms. Jae-Eun. I couldn't be happier with the kind encouragement and learning that is happening. My kids are excelling beyond my expectations.
Youngwon French, my piano teacher, is not only highly skilled and knowledgeable, but she also has a true passion for music and teaching. She has a way of making each lesson both challenging and fun, and she is always willing to go above and beyond to help me achieve my goals.

The Music Studio more than exceeded my expectations for guitar lessons for my son. As a parent, I wanted to be sure that my son would be safe and relaxed in order to be receptive to instruction. I have been very pleased with Sean and the instruction he gives. He took the time to consider my son's preferences and abilities and capitalized on his strengths and patiently works through the more difficult challenges.

At 68 I was finally done with air guitar. I discovered The Music Salon and Sean from my 14 year old neighbor who was learning guitar for the first time. After two years he plays clubs with a rock band and duets with a inspiring vocalist. I look forward to my weekly lessons with Sean. We work on music that I am interested in and things that are targeted to my skill level. I highly recommend Sean and the Music Salon if you want learning guitar to be fun this is the place for you. I wrote and performed a a song with him my first year!
My 14-year-old son Jack loves his guitar lessons with Sean! Sean has a very warm, friendly demeanor that makes it easy for my son to connect with him and feel very comfortable. Sean challenges Jack just enough to push him to his potential while being very patient and encouraging. We couldn't ask for a better experience!
Two of my boys took bass and guitar lessons from Sean for about two years. I cannot recommend him enough! Not only did they develop a life long love for playing, but due to Sean’s teachings and guidance, the boys were able to join a band and play on some major stages around the city beginning at the ages of just 13 and 14.
Youngwon offers personalized private lessons that my daughters enjoy going to. Atmosphere is calm and extremely clean with two gorgeous grand pianos. She also has a beautiful voice and sings/hums the tunes while the kids play. FIVE STARS!!!
Youngwon is simply wonderful. She’s an accomplished pianist, composer and gifted teacher whose love for music is contagious. My two daughters started taking lessons with her just over 6 months ago, and they have already learned so much. She makes music exciting, and has an amazing way of explaining difficult musical concepts in a way they understand. She is positive, patient and nurturing. She teaches them to be dedicated and to persevere in their practice, all while having fun learning and making music. I am so grateful they have her as a teacher.
My daughter and I absolutely love Ms. French. We started at age 5.5, once a week, 30 minutes and she’s playing piano with songs memorized and doing recitals and I’m beyond impressed. She keeps the kids interested in their lessons and the desire to continue playing piano. I have a very irregular work schedule and she is always gracious in trying to make our weekly lessons work, including doing virtual lessons. Couldn’t recommend her more- 2 of my friends’ kids also go here! Can’t wait to get my second kid in lessons too!
Trying to learn piano as an adult after never consistently playing an instrument earlier in life was a bit daunting, but Youngwon has helped me progress by leaps and bounds in just a few short months. She’s a fantastic teacher and has given me the consistent coaching and confidence I needed to stick with it and continuously improve. I can’t recommend her lessons highly enough for both adults and children.
Youngwon is amazing! She has been wonderful with our kids from day one and we are in awe of how far they’ve already come in such a short amount of time. They really enjoy going to her home and enjoy practicing too! She is really wonderful with communication and sharing their progress. If you want hands on, special attention with your kids, she is the teacher for you!

Sean is an excellent guitar teacher. When he first meets with you he evaluates your skill level and tailors his lessons specifically for you. He recognizes that not everyone learns in the same way. He also likes to balance technical learning with the fun of learning to play songs. Over the last five months or so, my skills have increased and I am playing better than I ever have in my life. Thank you Sean!
I finished my first studio album at ambient studio it's a great experience and really made my music come alive. If you're looking for good quality producer work ambient studios is this place to go!
As a Talent Manager and being in the Entertainment field for over 30 years, I can say they are the best. (As well as being a Mother of two daughters who have gone to MAC) I have seen the results this studio and its Teachers can produce. It is amazing. These instructors are the absolute best in the business and we are lucky to have them in Cincinnati.
This place is great! My daughter took an intro lesson to see what she thought. Being a teen she was nervous at first and hesitant to go. Came out of the building happy and excited. She loves her instructor and what’s she is learning. She would go every day if possible. They are professional, warm, fun, and friendly. My child loves this place!

Was really good instructor was patient and no pressure at all will go back.
My band (Xero Hour) and I just finished/received the final product of our EP. We are more than pleased with the outcome! Due to covid, we were delayed (not the studios fault at all) in the beginning. David (our producer), was very kind in working with us and getting us in the studio to record amidst the craziness with the virus and shutdowns. Once we were in, David worked quickly and efficiently. From helping to reposition mics, to giving us tips and making suggestions with different things. We Loved his input and put it use in many ways. He never once showed or presented any type of difficulties with us. And that says a lot as bands don't always get along with each other. David was as professional as they come, and was very cool to work with. I will defiantly work with him again in the future and recommend anyone that is looking for a good, relaxed environment, as well as honest and up front atmosphere to record to check out Ambient Studios! You won't regret it!

We have loved working with Ambient Studios so far! As a band we aren't very experienced with the recording experience, but they have eased us into it and been patient with our growing pains. Their space is very comfortable and easy to get to, and their equipment and instruments are excellent. Looking forward to working with them in the future!
My daughter has been taking voice lessons at Musical Art Center for several years. All the instructors are super talented. Right now she is taking lessons with Kathy Cammet and she is wonderful. She has improved a lot. She is also doing the YAPP program with Lincoln Chapman and he is great. Marilyn Zelcer and Linda McCalister are also great teachers!
I began taking voice lessons with Kathy Cammett in early September, and within the past two months or so of working with her, I have noticed a tremendous improvement in the overall quality of my singing voice. She is a wonderful teacher and has given me a lot of tips and tricks that have greatly improved my technique. I highly recommend taking lessons from Kathy, or any of the wonderfully talented staff at the MAC, to anyone who is considering taking music lessons.
Youngwon French has been so wonderful at teaching my kids piano! My son was 7 when he started. He learns best when he understands how things work. Ms. French identified this in his learning style and stopped during one of his first lessons mid-lesson to explain to him how the piano was built and let him watch the strings in the back of the piano as she played. I was so impressed at her perceptiveness. My kids love Ms. French!
Dave and crew went above and beyond. We needed their expertise for a private house party where they had to balance capturing and projecting excellent sound with staying out of the way of guests! They spent extra time evaluating the space and determining the best and most discreet ways to get the job done; essentially, they can adapt to any situation you throw at them. Plus, they're just really nice guys.
Both of my daughters spent a combination of over 10 years taking lesson with Marilyn Zelcer at the Musical Arts Center. She is an excellent voice teacher and has a gift for bringing new singers to their fullest potential. I highly recommend her studio. Both girls also were members of YAPP with Lincoln. Again, I highly recommend this program. Their singing and performing skills improved tenfold under his direction.
I have been working in music and recording for almost 30 years and the folks at Ambient Studios just helped me produce the absolute best sounding recording I have ever been a part of. They are patient and easy to work with, have a great ear for music, and are experts on all aspects of recording, mixing, and mastering. I let a music friend from Miami, Florida listen to one of the songs and his comment was, it was the best thing he has ever heard coming out of Cincinnati.
My daughter has been studying voice with Karl Resnik at the Musical Arts Center (MAC) for about 10 months and she loves her lessons with him! We came here because we had heard of Karl and his school’s excellent reputation, and they have truly exceeded all our expectations. Not only has Karl really helped her grow & improve her vocal technique, but he continues to instill in her the confidence and skills that are so important to a young person. He is very nurturing and encouraging, and we are so lucky to have such a talented teacher who loves what he does! Karl and his teaching team (Lincoln, Marilyn, Roz, Elena, Kaylee and others), also do an amazing job preparing students for competitions and auditions. Lastly, my daughter loves being a member of MAC’s Young Artist’s Preparatory Program (YAPP), one of the only high school opera programs around, led by Lincoln Chapman.
Overall, a fabulous place to study music with great teachers - our only regret is that we had not started here earlier - highly, highly recommend!

My daughter has worked with Troy for six years. He has been such an inspiration to her. His positive outlook makes her want to improve her skills. She absolutely loves her lessons with him. We have found Troy and the Musical Arts Center to be extremely flexible over the years. Would absolutely recommend Troy and the MAC.
We absolutely loved our many years at MAC! My daughter grew leaps and bounds vocally under the direction of Karl R. We can't thank all the vocal coaches enough for the amazing experiences MAC helped Emily prepare for over a 10 year span. We highly recommend the MAC to anyone!
I am a faculty member of The Musical Arts Center, and I have my MM in Voice Performance and Pedagogy. I am extremely proud of the quality of teaching, as well as the character of those I work with and for. The teaching at MAC is top-notch, with a kind and caring heart for each and every student. The quality of the vocalists produced here is astounding. To do what these teachers do so consistently is something that should be applauded. That is why I am a proud member of the faculty. Young voices need patience, knowledge and care as they grow. MAC is one of the most pedagogically sound schools you will find. Not only do the students learn healthy technique from quality instructors, they also consistently place highly at competition, and get into quality university programs.
