This service consistently faces delays, often happening 2-3 times per week, which is unacceptable. It raises concerns about how tax money is being utilized, as improvements are rarely seen. The decision-makers seem disconnected from the real issues, comfortably sitting in offices while the public continues to deal with these disruptions.

If you are living in areas like Markham and Richmond Hill, and you need to go to downtown Toronto, York Mills station maybe the best option for you! East access by 401! All you need is someone to drop you off!

TTC staff was very rude at Yorkdale station. I am with an infant and asking info on how does transfer work. She was very rude in giving the response.

The stations nice but the best part about it is the mall because I just went there today and the mall was beautiful and I even looked around at the stores but the mall is not the main part about it it is the subway station but the one thing I don't like about it is the ads blocking the windows just put the ad somewhere else

There is construction still occurring at this station and has been going on for a long while. I like the fact that this station is elevated. There are elevators available at this station. Has a good connection to the shopping mall, with a pedestrian bridge.

York Mills Subway Station in Toronto is one of the deepest stations on the subway network. This station serve the Young branch of line 1. During my visit the station was clean and well-maintained, and the transit service was efficient and on time. I know the on time part was shocking. The station is accessible but not from all entrances.

The vending place on this station is atrociously expensive. 6$ for a red bull!
Free wifi on the bus I take to work, bonus!
Literally the cleanest station. You will see 7 people scrubbing the same tile.

It is always very clean and feel very safe. No one ever lingers there.
All the buses are at the north exit of the platform. Kiss N Ride is on the south end.

York Mills Station is located inside York Mills Centre a nice open space concept building, so relaxing to take a coffee time break there.

The interiors have a big difference between the TTC trains' level and the business centre.

On the Ranee entrance the handrails of the escalator going up are always dirty. I have a hard time balancing myself without grabbing the handrails and each time my hand gets full of dirt.

The Yorkdale subway station is still undergoing renovations. There is still some space to walk on the platform and despite being the station for Yorkdale Mall, it wasn't that busy. There is even a payphone on the platform. Such a relic. I'm sure eventually they will put this pay phone in a museum or something.

* Hard to navigate when leaving

This station is very hard to navigate when exiting. Even with all the signs, the first time I went to this station, I found that it was hard for me to figure out where to go.

The wifi at this station is decent! However, if you are in the train and are passing this station, don't expect to be able to connect to the wifi before the train departs from the platform.

A subway station within a subway, the outside looks like a TTC subway train. Inside, the glass roof looks stunning! Connects to one of the busiest mall of Toronto in one end, and a beautiful park on the other.

Due to renovations (which have been going on for almost 2 years now with no difference?) they have closed off a section of the line 1 subway staircase that leads to the yorkdale entrance. The space they have created for people to walk is super constricted as it is closed off on each side, only making it possible for one way travel and it is made out of some type of wood material which makes it dimly lit as well. This honestly makes me feel kind of uneasy and unsafe, especially during the later hours - I was hoping this wasn’t a long term thing and would only last a couple weeks or a month at most but I’ve noticed that its been this way since the summer and its January now. I’m not sure if I explained this well enough but if you’ve used the staircase recently you probably know what I’m talking about. I just hope someone at the ttc reads this and attempts to fix problem, the least they could do is place a person at the top of the staircase maybe? I’m just concerned because of the recent influx of violent individuals/incidents I’m seeing on the ttc and I don’t want anyone to get hurt.

I like the facts that this subway station connects with a good selection of buses to ride north or south. Also that it is fully accessible and has connection to the Bike Share system. The point I feel could be much improved is that the station is usually very dirty compared to other stations.

Pretty good station. Connects to woodbine buses in the area. It’s fully accessible. It’s got two entrances and exits. Very beautiful art. But it’s really just your usual subway station but it also now has bike share docking stations and that’s really cool.

Buses and subway are usually on time. Few seating arrangements available. TTC always do pilot project/new advancement (i.e Presto) in this station first. Clean station. Stairs, escalators and lifts available. Very busy during pick hours. Bunch of restaurants and banks are walking distance.

Currently undergoing renovations, Woodbine Station still is good, I love the station tiles here, it's a great station. The bus platform is nice too ! Let's hope the renovations and second exit are finished soon !

Right now this stationnis crazy while going through construction but it is being run smoothly by a ttc employee named Paul. He is so kind and polite to akk who come through during morning rush hour. I think once it's done it will be amazing,
