Today(13th June)
Purple line train passing from baiyappanahalli towards majestic ....train is having some issues in closing and opening doors on time .... So in each stop the train is stopped more than 10 to 15 mins ...where in actual stop time is 2 mins/stop.... Nobody is bothered to fix that train and the issue. People are getting late everywhere..no seats to sit due to busy hours... Why waste so many crores on this metro project if it's gonna cause this much inconvenience and the people responsible for maintenance is least bothered to stop that train and provide an alternative or anything!!!???
Yesterday morning while going to Nagasandra, I left my mobile in the ticket counter by mistake. I realised this when I was getting off in Majestic station. I panicked and called my mobile. The staff answered the phone and told me the mobile is safely kept in their office and not too worry. I came back in the evening and collected my mobile. I am so grateful to the station staff. A big salute to the honest and courteous staff at this metro station. May god bless them.

One of the most prominent metro stations in Northern Bangalore.
Premises is quite big and neatly maintained.
Ticket queue is usually big and long but issuing is very fast.
Reaching this station is also convenient.
Staff is very supportive and will assist as per the need.

Many people travel from this station .
Metro station on purple line.
No parking is available.
Coffee shop is there on 1st floor and ground floor.
It's a good station. To go to platform 1 towards nagasandra you have to walk across the metro line. And there's only one entrance to the station so far.

Worst metro ever of India, they took 10 minutes to issue one token, they charges for extra luggage as well. People will travel with their luggage only, why they charge for extra luggage? There is no rule like this in Delhi metro. They don’t have that much metro network in Bangalore wand whatever they have the behave like this also, really disappointed

Halasuru metro station is an elevated metro station on the East-West corridor of the Purple Line of Namma Metro, Bangalore. It is located in the Halasuru neighbourhood of Bangalore. There are 3 Entry/Exit points – A, B (Ramakrishna Mutt side) and C (Jogupalya side). Commuters can use either of the points for their travel.

I had a pleasant experience at Indra Nagar Metro Station, which is one of the stations on the Purple Line of Namma Metro. The station is located on CMH Road in the vibrant Indiranagar locality, which has many shops, cafes, and restaurants. The station is clean, well-lit, and spacious. The staff are courteous and helpful. The metro trains are frequent, fast, and comfortable.

Some interesting facts about Indra Nagar Metro Station are:

• It was opened to the public on 20 October 2011.
• It has two side platforms and two tracks, with a mezzanine level for fare control and crossover.
• It is named after Indiranagar, which is a residential and commercial area developed by the Karnataka Housing Board in the late 1970s.

I would recommend Indra Nagar Metro Station to anyone who wants to enjoy the convenience and comfort of Namma Metro. It is a well-maintained and well-connected station that serves the needs of the commuters and the visitors. I give it a five-star rating. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐.

One of the best places for a Metro Station. Several faculties around as well which is helpful. It doesnt get overcrowded at any any irrespective of which entrance you take. The staff are helpful as well incase you need anything.
One negative thing that that when you stand near entrance/exit, you have auto drivers just staring at you which can get a little annoying.

Best mode of transportation towards Majestic bus stand / KSR Bengaluru station.
Cleanly maintained 👌👌
Kudos to Namma Metro Team 👏👏
One Feedback: Please take care of your employees who work day in out. They feel tired and exhausted with several people who don’t follow rules and very much indisciplined.
Basically, I'm from Hyderabad and I never experienced an underground metro and this metro station is awesome and neatly maintained.

A metro 🚇 station in the heart of the CITY and yet the AVM machines to recharge the card DOES NOT work! The ticket issuing personnel literally told me that the server was down for the past 2 hrs!
Another joke is that there is only one AVM machine for the entire station.

Kudos to the One Nation One Card 💳 Scheme!
Such brilliant execution of the scheme!

One of the major metro stations in Bangalore. Several purchasing options/shops nearby this metro station. From the nearby bus stop we will get bus to Koramangala, Madiwala, and Silkboard
Good and nice metro station. You can get metro for majestic, yashwanthpur , and towards silk board. It's on the green line and mostly crowded during peak hours of the day.

If you want to travel faster during the commute in Bangalore it's an ideal transport which will help you to reach your destination quickly.

Overall a good and nice station. Loved it 😊.
One of the major Metro stations in bangalore. Church street, MG Road, Brigade road are the nearest places to visit. You will get Bus to Electronic City and Bannerghatta from Brigade road-which is at walkable distance from this Metro station. There is one nearby theater and various Shopping options are also available near this metro station, It's also one of the nearest metro stations to Commercial street/Shivajinagar

Met the love of my life there. She was the oldest ticket counter lady and I was the youngest 9th standard student. It was love at second sight (I have glasses)
Worst since you can use washroom only during entry and not during exit. Seriously??? Womens or mens they shouldn’t keep such ridiculous rules. Workers literally pushed me off from entering into the washroom. Is this the behaviour??? Okay they have maintained the station well but why such a behaviour?

M.G. Road visit combined with Herbalife office visit This visit was planned in order to visit the Herbalife office. One of my favourite places in Bengaluru due to the availability of various shopping malls as well as fantastic eateries around it A great place for shopping all kinds of clothes. Ranging from several brand copies to very large brands. The streets here are quite lively with both Indians and Foreigners. Try to visit it if one is in Bangalore for more than 3 days (I'm saying 3 days because there are other greater places to visit in Bangalore Love it or hate it (it's full on!) this is where it's happening in downtown Bengaluru. There's a huge variety of restaurants, local history, Metro to whisk you around the city, or just pick a spot and watch the world go by. (If you own a car, leave it at home!) One of the busiest market and shoping area. Too much crowd day and night. You will people here 24/7.

And also you will get everything here the best market for shopping So busy, so many people! We saw amazing dresses from 90000 rupee to 1500. Put on your runners as the road and streets are uneven and not safe

Lalbagh Botanical Garden (Kannada: ಲಾಲ್‌ಬಾಗ್ ಬೊಟಾನಿಕಲ್ ಗಾರ್ಡನ್‌), or shortened Lalbagh, is an old botanical garden in Bengaluru, India. First planned and laid out during the dalavaiship of Hyder Ali and later adorned with unique plant species by his son Tippu, it was later managed under numerous British Superintendents before Indian Independence. It was responsible for the introduction and propagation of numerous ornamental plants as well as those of economic value. It also served a social function as a park and recreational space, with a central glass house dating from 1890 which was used for flower shows. In modern times it hosts two flower shows coinciding with the week of Republic Day (26 January) and Independence Day (15 August). As an urban green space along with Cubbon Park, it is also home to numerous wild species of birds and other wildlife. The garden also has a lake adjoining a large rock on which a watchtower had been constructed during the reign of Kempegowda II.Flower shows are conducted every year during the week of Republic day and Independence day, to educate people about the variety of flora and develop public interest in plant conservation and cultivation.[14]

A bonsai garden has been added in 2002. Apart from this, there is Topiary Garden, Rose garden and Lotus garden inside Lalbagh.

An artificial waterfall has been commissioned in 2017 at the far eastern edge of the lake.[15]

Lalbagh is a good place for bird watching both in the lake and on the ground.

Lalbagh also has a "Garden centre" where citizens can buy ornamental plants. This is managed by Nursery Men's Cooperative society.

A geological monument for the peninsular gneiss formation is also a tourist attraction at the gardens. This monument has been designated by the Geological Survey of India on the Lalbagh hill which is made up of 3,000 million-year-old peninsular gneissic rocks. One of the four cardinal towers erected by Kempegowda II, also a major tourist attraction, is seen above this hillock. This tower gives the full view of Bangalore from the top.

Ticket counter staffs are very rude and they have no knowledge about the stations ! Worst customer service in cubbon park metro station. Staffs who sit in customer service should have some basic knowledge to guide the tourist!
Cubbon Park Metro is one of the most Famous, Popular metro stations in Namma Metro, Bengaluru City. As this metro is very very nearest point to some of the most iconic Places like Cubbon Park, Chinnaswamy Stadium, Vidhana Soudha, State Library and this area is considered as almost the Center of the City.
So, this metro station is very very busy during it's prime times i e., In the morning times and in the evening Times of the Most Operative times.
Like all the other metro stations, cubbon park metro station is an underground metro station as the area is very much developed to divide and construct metro above the Roads.
So all the metro stations in this area is operated via underground only.
Like all the Metro stations, this metro station is also completely air conditioned and provides high quality washrooms and drinking water facility also..
Basically travelling on Bengaluru metro is a very good feel and it's a good time travelling in Namma Metro to explore all the places and to escape from the traffic also..
This station is frequently used by the Train travellers who boards and deboards the KSR Station.

KSR station has a connectivity to this metro station.

From this station, Lulu Mall is very much nearby.

Station is clean and neat. Staffs are polite and not too much crowded. Train frequency is good.

Feeder buses are available at this station.

Station is air-conditioned and ambience is good.

Cubbon Park is one of the busiest metro stations in Bengaluru. Especially, during the IPL matches.

Nearest localities - Chinnaswamy Stadium, Shivaji Nagar, Indian Express office, Cubbon Park (main attraction)

The area outside the metro is too pleasant and calm. Metro station during Non-IPL days and weekdays, looks more silent.

Ticket counters are not that much crowded and restroom is maintained properly.
National College station is very nice and cleanliness has been maintained here .... Basavana gudi is nearby this Metro station.... All the elevators are working fine . ....
Well maintained. Security is always there and they guide you, just in case. It's usually busy. Ticket counter is usually quick. Overall experience is good.
Remember that this connects to irctc city railway station at majestic to the 10th platform.. you would appreciate the engineering behind the connection between such a massive metro and railway stations. This station is on the purple line and if you want to switch to green line, you will have to travel to next station i.e., majestic which is towards Byappanahalli..

Located on the main 100 feet Road in Indiranagar, it's quite a busy station, always crowded. Though the main road is crowded, it is a very old residential area, and the interior areas are quiet, with beautiful residences.
The area around the Metro station is quite busy and crowded.
The station itself is very neat and clean.
This station primarily is used to commute to the KSR Railway Station, and also to get to the Lulu Mall.

There are enough and more signs to point one in the right direction. With multiple exits here do read the signs and look at the maps to know where you are going to get out.

The only challenge I had was with entry/exit facing minerva mill road was that there is no ramp for wheelchair users and no escalator going down if elderly or passengers carrying some luggage have to go into the station. One has to take the stairs making it a bit difficult for elderly / people with children.

Nevertheless the station is well maintained with clean enough toilets.

There are M G Roads all over the country, but the Bangalore Mahatma Road is iconic.
In spite of several posh suburban shopping centres springing up over the last couple of decades, M G Road, the adjoining Brigade Road, Church Street and Commercial Street, about a kilometre away, retain pride of place as far as shopping and hanging out are concerned.
The boulevard on M G Road is perhaps unique ONLY to Bangalore, and is a space for the artistic expression of the people, not only of Bangalore but for anyone...
Food from the humble street food, idli, dosa, pani puri to sizzlers and biriyani, tea both the ₹ 10 & the fancy ₹ 200 variety are all available here...
Anyway this is for the Metro rail station
Nice station... Neat and clean... Will maintained... We took a joy ride from cubbon park/Vidhan Soudha (Dr. Ambedkar metro station).... As we had to reach dominoes Pizza shop which is situated exactly induce MG road metro station...

I stayed quiet near to the metro so I used thrice.
Pros:
It’s very clean.
Not much crowded station (Trains are always packed).
Mask is must while entering the check in area.
Have temperature scanner.
Cons:
It doesn’t have parking area.
While I was there I didn’t find any police on the drop point. So the vehicles can stay there for quiet a time.
In this metro station still constructions are going on.
Need to improve surrounding environment near to it.

How do you rate a metro station..

Cleanliness - Very clean. Properly managed. Hand sanitizer. Temperature Checking Machines. Good security.

Staff - Very helpful. Quick in transactions.

Parking - No Parking as of now due to additional line being constructed and road work but there is lot of nearby space for parking in Jayanagar.
Also rating a metro station for its parking during extension phase is not right.

They have 2 SBI ATMs which are functional most of the times.

Baiyyapanahalli Metro Station is the Starting point of Metro Purple Line towards Mysore Road. Detailed Review - 🚅
• Metro Station is Neatly maintained & the Infrastructure is good.
• As you Enter the Metro Station there will be a Checking & if you carry bag then they will scan your Bag for Safety Reasons.
• Keep Change while buying Tickets, the staff usually keeps saying they don't have change. Which I think the Metro Department should look at this Situation.🎟️
• Best take the Metro Pass if you frequently travel through Metro as it is Cheaper & Best part you don't have to stand in the Line to buy Tickets which Saves Times.
• Washrooms in the Station is Clean.💧
• Really appreciate the Metro Department towards their punctuality. The first Metro on Sundays Start exactly at 7 AM & Weekdays on 5:30 AM.👏🕒

This stop is at a short distance from the previous one and to facilitate visitors to the famed Cubbon Park after which it is named. It has three different exits one leading to the KSCA Cricket Stadium, another to the IT offices and the last one to the HAL square.

This station is full of art. When I went in Dec 2019 an art installation was in progress - with walls being prepared with clay art and about water in the city of Bangalore. Further ahead there was an exhibition on Indian soldiers in one of the world wars.

This is one of the best stations on the Purple line allowing access to Cubbon Park and having very interesting art inside.

Very well maintained. Escalator and the lifts were clean and working condition. Very friendly staff and efficient ticketing staff. Multiple ticket counters and they knew few other languages than Kannada. The staff helped an old couple to board the metro without any trouble. Very clean station. But parking is not there, which is a problem with most of the metro stations.
It's in prime location and plenty of parking space and you may also opt for self driven Bike or car at parking space .
Neat and cleanly maintained station and parking facilities available between 5 .00 AM to 11.30 PM in the night.
walkable to KFC Indiranagar and Chinmaya Hospital, 80 ft road. If you go to NGF you will get shared auto for Rs.10 to BEML and HAL, Old airport road. Below this metro you have good eatery shops. Staffs working here are pretty good and there is a small shop which sells swami vivekananda books

I haven't taken metro alot in Bangalore but the connectivity and ease is brilliant so far. The metro station of Jayanagar is huge and has frequent connections and frequent trains that makes the journey quite seamless. Its located at the heart of the Jayanagar and hence its very convenient for shopping or dine out.

It’s a beautiful and well maintained Metro station. It’s very convenient to go to National college, VV Puram, VB Bakery, Jain Temple etc. I invariably use this Greenline Metro from Rajajinagar rather than Uber Taxi to visit places around National College to avoid huge traffic snarls and to save time.

Very well maintained metro station. It's huge, neat & tidy. Even washrooms are clean.
Security is good, like in all stations. All the staffs are really helpful in anyway.
Station also has well placed waiting area, drinking water facility. Also store for eating is also present.
It also has train service place, which makes station large in size.
Overall a good maintained station. Happy about it...

Clean and ‘purple’ Trinity! As usual like any other Metro station this was also maintained well. When I visited there, in next 2 days Metro workers were to go on strike which I came to know through a Bangalore Mirror reporter who interviewed me! I opined that grievance redressal system should be there without resorting to stoppage of public utility such as Metro upon which so many people depend on for commuting to & fro office/Home. However, the strike was subsequently postponed.
It's in prime location and plenty of parking space and you may also opt for self driven Bike or car at parking space .

I would recommend this place for regular commuter more than Biyappana halli .

Neat and cleanly maintained station and parking facilities available between 5 .00 AM to 11.30 PM in the night.

I think the Metro needs reminding that the rest of the line opened ages ago. How about updating your own in station signage to no longer show under construction and the missing stations on the route?

I mentioned this at the ticket window MONTHS ago, reply "oh yes Sir, we are waiting for new signs" My response? How about you quickly make an A4 sized sign and put it up yourself? A complete look of confusion appeared on the faces of all staffers.
