I went in with my two daughters. We were carrying a plastic, clear see through food carryout bag. My daughter also had her water flask. Upon entering the store, we were not greeted. It felt more like an ambush. We were asked to place our clear bag and water flask up front, while the posted door sign only stated "No backpacks". We wouldn't have minded placing our items up front; however, it was the manner in which we were being spoken to and treated that rubbed us the wrong way. I was asking about inventory, while my question seemed to be met with zero consideration, or helpfulness.
I know this store isn't in the best of locations, and perhaps they've experienced issues with others in the past. Even so, this is no way to treat potential customers who were genuinely in to shop. I would not recommend this place. It also may not be the case, but I can't help but feel that being a person of color may have had something to do with our level of treatment.

The guys are kinda a little bit like jerks, but once you get your turn to be helped, they're freaking amazing. They have an answer for every question you have. They really know what they're working with and will help you Collect the items you need for your next project, It always works out for me.

We came here to donate our mollies because we couldn't care for them no more, but I had a quick tour around the store and it's amazing! From salt water fish to freshwater fish, they have all kinds of fish, and they have amazing tanks in each that fit their personality. This could be a good place to work if you like fish.🐟🐠🐡🦈
Always kind and courteous, very happy tanks,great listeners and biomes planning.. if you're looking for something specific talk to them.. they even had axolotls the other day (photos)
This was a hidden gem here in town! I have been to a handful of other aquarium stores in Vegas and while this one was out of the way (based on where in town I reside) it is by FAR the best fish store around.
The customer service was unmatched. Every employee who was working when I came in were incredibly knowledgeable and on top of that you can tell they are passionate about the hobby and that really showed. No one was pushy to purchase things but weres very helpful in leading me to products that I could find beneficial.
The store is huge! When you first come in you'll see all the set up products (tanks, substrates, decor, chemicals, etc.) But when you go to the other side you will see their impressive selection of fish both salt and fresh! They quarantine and treat all of their fish before housing them together.
I absolutely will be returning and if you are new to the hobby or a veteran I would recommend checking this store out!!

Amazing place! Love the workers. They were all super helpful and friendly. Katie helped me out and was delightful to have a chat with. I heard and seen them from YouTube and decided to go. While the prices aren't cheap, they are definitely worth it as the fish are as healthy as can be. Definitely going to come back even though I live on the opposite side of the city.
This is a very good aquarium shop. They have both salt water and freshwater fish. As well as coral and freshwater plants. The staff they're super friendly. They normally stay in good supply of most things.
This place is massive!!!. I did not expect it for aquarium accessories in the middle of Vegas to be this big. Customer service is top notch. Very informative. A wide variety of accessories/freshwater and saltwater fish/ feed you name it. Please support your local fish store like this. One stop shop for everything
What can you say about Trop Aquarium? That they are the best tropical fish store in Las Vegas, yes they are! Everything you need it's a nice clean shop. The people are very friendly. I've never had any problem with their livestock.
Best family owned fish store in Las Vegas! First came in as a kid at 10 got into the fish hobbie and everyone they bring into the team has basic knowledge of caring for them. Great salt water fish selection as well and they have decently priced fish and tanks. This store has upgraded as they’ve gotten older to which is fantastic to see! Their bettas are superb!! It’s great I can bring my own kids now :) also their Berta wall has a waterfall for all of them come see
I am astounded by this store. The owner is amazing, the staff very friendly. A huge variety of product, from the tiniest and simple setup for the kids to 3000 gallon salt water setups. Best advice to customize to your specifications. No kind of upsell pressure, it's all about fish love and having the best aquarium setup for you.
Very friendly and accomadating staff. We were looking for bettas. They had a larger and healthier selection than all the other places we looked. The store is small, but it looks like the staff really take care of the fish. I would highly recommend Las Vegas Aquarium to anyone.

Fantastic selection there. They kinda had it all. I was impressed. Tons of big tanks to choose from too and almost any fish you might be looking for.
This store should be the first you go to for fish then you can go from there.

Live bearer haven
Tons of livebearers there so ya. If that's your gig then this would be your best choice for fish in Vegas IMHO.
The place is small and crowded and cluttered but that's a good sign. That means they're busy they got a lot of different projects and people like the place.
If I was living here in Vegas id stop by this place every once in a while to see if there was anything new.

I highly recommend both salt and fresh water aquarium owners to come here. Not only do they have more options of fishes to choose from but they care about the customer and their aquariums. They have a variety of nutritional food depending on the fishes diet, many aquarium decorations, healthy solutions for tanks, options of vibrant live corals, different selection of plants and beautiful Salt and Fresh water fishes for beginning owners to experts.

I was looking to expand my tank life with more coral and fishes and he explained which pairs great with what I have and gave me options to choose from. I was also suggested some healthy food for my fishes and some solution for my water to remain more healthier. I’ve never experienced this type of service from the other aquarium stores. I also noticed they had fish tanks where they were breeding which shows that their really passionate about some fishes they were providing and saw some separated quarantine tanks for sick fishes for them to take care of and get better. I've been coming to Las Vegas Aquariums for about 2 years now and have not had a bad experience. Staff is extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and patient with answering your questions. I would say if you are a beginner or experienced keeper of both fresh/salt water fish, they have stuff for everyone. You might have to wait a bit for help, but they make sure to let you know they haven't forgotten about you. Give them a visit, and I know you won't regret it.
