Incredibly helpful place, vast resource of knowledge and advice. Stocks everything you'll need for keeping fish. Prices seem reasonable. Big open plan space on 2 floors - you can spend hours there. Just one word for it - brilliant!

They have helped me set up my pond with fish, plants and excellent advice. It's a shame I have heard that they closed.

We are first time shrimp breeders and went in for some advice on how to start and the man that helped us gave us lots of amazing advice! He took the time to teach us how to gender them, what temp they need to be etc etc. We ended up buying some to start the breeding journey and they are very happy and healthy! Amazing Shrimp collection, Plenty of Caridina and Neocaridina species, A Shrimp keepers dream! A nice range of Marine and other Tropical fish too, All staff have been extremely helpful and easy to talk to. Would Recommend 👍

Visited the store today after traveling a considerable way based on other peoples recommendations that we just MUST visit this store. And I must say I'm not at all disappointed.

All tanks were immaculate with 0 algae on the glass. The fish health was really good with no casualties to see. Not only this but the variety of oddball species the store had was the main reason I will be returning. I can promise you there will be a fish in this store you haven't seen before even if you've been in the hobby for years especially catfish and tetra/barbs. They have a wall dedicated to high end shrimp which are breeding readily which tells you how good the water quality the fish are kept in.

I also purchased marine species and staff were more than happy to show me them feeding which is always very much appreciated. I could have bought so much more if I had the time to spend

I was served by two members of staff unfortunately I missed the first man's name and was so friendly and welcoming asking me about my fish but the second who served me was Jack and i must say it's so good to be served by someone so friendly and knowledgeable on the hobby who has just as much passion for it.

This store is definitely in the right direction for being one of the best stores i have Visited in the UK. 10/10 well done guys 😊

After an hour's drive to buy some needed equipment for my 2 aquariums they were shut. Conflicting information on their website and Google about being open. Staff at the garden centre next-door were no wiser only that someone goes in to feed the fish everyday . I hope they reopen soon but I don't think they will. Shame to see another good local aquatic store go under if that's what happens.

Came to visit today to get our new fish. We had the pleasure of speaking to Josh who was so knowledgeable, answered all questions I had and spent as much time with us as we needed, left feeling really confident, Can’t wait to come back soon to expand and upgrade my tank, we were shown upstairs to look at some options and came to a decision on the next one I’d like to go for. Such a beautiful place who really love and care for there fish.

I bought my first aquarium at Maidenhead Aquatics Bristol today. The shop is excellent and the staff are very helpful indeed. Jack took me around the store showing me what I would need to get my tank started, and gave me a lot of tips and advice which was extremely helpful. Would recommend them to anyone. Thank you.

My first visit here and have to say I was very impressed with the service, staff knowledge and range of stock. Some items were a little low on stock due to the time of year, but I found everything I needed. Will visit here again.

Set up my tank with all the necessary steps and went in to this shop the other day and I spoke to Daz, he was really helpful and well educated on fish and could tell he had a real passion in fish he told me everything I needed to know and more to make sure my guppies had a amazing start in there new home, they moved in and are getting on brilliantly and loving there new home. Can’t wait to visit again.

6 weeks ago myself and my partner and I bought our 4ft tank from here. This is our first tank and these guys have been exceptionally helpful. We have had lots of questions and they have always been available to answer even out of hours. Just purchased some more fish today! And the shop was busy but the guy who served us was very patient as we were asking lots of questions even checked our water perimeters nothing is to much trouble. Great job guys keep it up a lovely shop I won't be going anywhere else ever.

I’ve bought several fish, tanks and lives plants from this location since my time living here in Bristol. This shop truly care about fish and aquatic animals, they are also very knowledgeable with all things aquatic. Everytime I come here I feel like a kid in a candy store 😅. Can’t recommend these guys enough.

Wow!!!! These guys know their stuff. The shop apears small from the outside, but it goes back and back, and has absolutely everything you need. The fish are amazing even some I had never seen before. Absolutely fabulous place, came away with alot more than we went in for. Thank you.

Great place for all your marine needs! We come here a lot for our corals and are never disappointed! They have some beautiful fish there as well. Staff are friendly and very helpful. We recently got a 22 headed acan for £150 and it was originally reserved by someone else but they were very kind and rang us when that person never showed up for the coral.

Small shop but with lots of coral. All the livestock I saw looked happy and healthy. Would recommend any reefkeeper to pay a visit. I don't think you'll be disappointed. Coral frags starting at £20. Will definitely be going back.

Fabulous small shop with all you need. The only place where I found the filter I needed. Not the biggest selection of fish but that isn't always a bad thing! Quality over quantity in this case. Will be going here from now on.

Not the best stocked place I've visited, was after some plants but there was only a handful on show.

Check your bags before leaving! SW Marines failed to give me all the items I had paid for. It could have been a genuine mistake, but I have tried to contact them twice to resolve, and have been completely ignored...so maybe it wasn’t a mistake! (Empty bag should have had a coral in it)

Local fish shop located within Iron Acton Garden Centre. I've bought food, medicine, plants, hardscape and plumbing components here for the last 6 or 7 years. Quality of stock is always good, however when busy service can be a little slow - not too dissimilar to other fish shops.
Bought fish for the first time today and the chap serving was really helpful.
Quality of the livestock is usually good, with "oddballs" available. Shelf products, hardscape, aquariums, etc. is always good quality, available and in good numbers.

Very knowledgeable staff. Great selection of fish and always have some rare species in stock. Shop and staff have earned lots of awards within the fishkeeping community. Also stock the best quality plants and lots of stock of everything aquarium related.
