Had a great experience shopping here- everything is super cute! Left super excited about the things I purchased, but unfortunately I am almost certain this transaction caused my card to be compromised. This was the only purchase I had made on this credit card -- and the following day I received $500+ in random fraud charges. Love my new overalls - but I don't think it was worth the hassle.
I love gift shops. The multiple signs posted asking everyone not to front dogs were real bad for any persons with a service dog and any sort of anxiety disorder. The isles were also really thin. I would have appreciated that posted on a bunch of signs.

Cute little shop. The cashier was very nice. The selection was large. Price is cheaper than the visitor center. Plenty of parking and no wait. I would recommend shopping here.

Super fun shop. I read a lot of other reviews, and they were all pretty true to the place. Lots of fun Joshua Tree souvenirs, I was excited to get the incense burning hoppee. All the employees were friendly, we stopped here a few times during our trip and always found fun things!

I went in looking for a gift but had a tight budget and was treated so well. The gift I selected was very inexpensive but it was wrapped as beautifully as If it was a high price item. The entire experience was wonderful.

This spot has the most carefully curated array of gifts and local makers’ work around downtown JT! Stop in if you want to find unique prezzies for friends or small artworks, and would like to skip the holier-than-thou pricing of most other spots in the desert. Dawn makes sure what she sells is not sold elsewhere locally too, so you’ll be able to get a gift for yourself or someone else that isn’t the same faux-desert instagramminess.

awesome shop, very friendly owner that helped us learn about some of the local artists in the area. they have a small but well curated collection of shirts and tshirts, as well as some books, assorted souvenirs (stickers/magnets/cards), and lots of local art! very happy with the painting we picked up here, very cool souvenir to bring back home!
An absolutely charming shop with a carefully curated collection or local themed items and artisans. But there's really something for everyone - locals and visitors alike. Wonderful vibe, warm and welcoming. Shop owner Dawn is a tremendous ambassador for the community and knows the scoop on best things to see and do. Highly recommend!

Great collection of local artisan creations, along with fun swag, JT t-shirts and one of a kind items. A must stop and peruse when having an adventure in the desert.
Soul Connection truly has something for everyone. Whether it's a birthday gift, housewarming present, or something for yourself (which I tend to do :), I love knowing that I am supporting local. Dawn is an absolute gem and always has a solid rotation of treasures!

In a time when the shops in Downtown Joshua Tree are becoming more and more like "little Los Angeles," one shop stands out--Soul Connection! Soul Connection is connected to the quirky hi-desert community that gave JT its unique vibe, unlike many of the other shops that have recently opened up in Sun Alley and Zanndelions. Inside Soul Connection, you will find mainly art, sculpture, fine art photography, poetry chap books, sci-fi short stories, pottery, soap, candles, music, and postcards made BY LOCALS! You will also find some socially-conscious children's books and a great section for those looking for meditation gifts (sage bundles, crystals, calming ritual cards, tarot, etc.). What's cool about this shoppe is that the owner is big on supporting the community and as such, she takes part in local charity drives. She promotes local events, and she actually keeps her shoppe open past 3:30 pm on the weekends (many other shops close before 4pm for some reason). If you're looking for weird, quirky, unique gifts and goodies that are different from the new, Instagrammable shops nearby, Soul Connection is the place!
