The service center was awesome, fast and polite. Tammy was so friendly I talked to her for twenty minutes. Definitely recommend this store to take care of you car.

Clean, well stocked on shelves in most departments and clean. Couldn't get help in two departments and the item I went for was oos. I despise self checkout and even worse when clearance nail polish rang up for $12 (was supposed to be $1) as a totally different and of course no one could fix that, could only remove it.

Had what I needed, was in and out all quick like. Gentleman that rang me up was very nice and I'm sorry to hear they're understaffed.

I went to Hammond Walmart to get something from electronics. I got there at 7:30 PM. I waited and waited for someone to assist. There were NO associates around in any department along the back of the store. I went to the cash register to see if they was a buzzer or light. I saw a sign on the pole that said they close at 8 pm. By this time it was 7:50 pm. The associates must have left early. 😡😡😡

So not only do y’all’s employees stand around making fun of an older disabled gentleman y’all have your rent a cop to escort him out and embarrass him???!!!?? Y’all some trashy low down trifling pos for that! Some yall need the taste slapped out yalls mouthes for that ish! Do BETTER or take ya tails back to school an get a better education! DISAPPOINTED & DISGUSTED!

Tourette’s syndrome is an illness and often heightens in public places due to anxiety. Calling the police on someone who is having a tic fit while ALSO LAUGHING AT HIS TICS is uncalled for. I hope this is a lesson for you all. I will never go back. SHAME ON YOU.

Update: Walmart corrected the issue and thankfully had ONE copy left with the game actually in the case.

It was only $20 but that's not the point it's the principal. A few months ago this Walmart or another Walmart somewhere between Hammond and Plaquemine. I went to purchase a Nintendo switch game when I noticed that where you open the game up someone had cut it open right there Just right there. So it was still mostly sealed but open enough to where they can get the game out. These are games that are in the locked case. So if you're going to purchase a game from Walmart be sure and try to remember and hopefully you do see this that you check the game plastic and make sure that it's fully wrapped around and sealed. If not there's a probable chance that like this morning when I went to open my game there's no game in the case. Like I said this happened a few months ago as well. Today I did call the manager at the Hammond Walmart to make sure that they are aware. So I hope that if you're an employee doing this that you also see this. You suck whoever you are. Now I have to feel like I'm the thief when I go back to Walmart to return the game. Which is $20 Don't get me wrong it's not terrible but I'm going to fight for my money because this isn't right.

Needed a small gas can that I can open. The new gas cans are almost impossible to open with arthritic hands. They had one I don't have to be a contortionist to open.

They are always helpful and usually have quality parts.also ,they have rental equipment very useful in a pinch .

My wife and I went in to purchase a refrigerator. HD Hhd exactly what we needed for a great price. We were helped by an associate named Ty, who was very nice and made sure we got the help we needed. 5 stars for her alone.

Stand in line so you can check yourself out. It seems like every person has trouble with something during checkout. The checkout area should have a big sign over it that says "We want you to go to Lowe's."

By all of my DIY tools here. Have gotten some descent prices and fair quality tools. This is great for those jobs around the house that doesn't require 4000 dollars worth of tools to do it.

The hammond la homedepot has changed so much! It's good to see the pride they have taken in their customer service . After placing my online order . It was very quickly ready for pick up. Once I entered the store I did not have to find anyone. Keya and sheral greeted me at the entrance and asked if I needed any help. They where quick and thorough. All smiles and out the door I went to complete my project. Without them this store wouldnt be what it is ! HOMEDEPOT GIVE THESE HARD WORKING GIRLS A RAISE!

Went in today with a small paint chip to color match. I didn’t get the woman’s name at the paint desk but she was helpful and quick and even asked to help me with something in the isles as well. Very pleasant visit with employees greeting me along the way. They had all hands on deck gearing up for the holiday season.

Was looking for a floor jack. Found the size I needed. I even caught it on sale. Always check for them coupon codes.

Organized, clean, and items visibly priced with regular and sale prices from their ad. Self checkout had an attendant who was helpful in getting through the process. I would have purchased other needed items IF there had been knowledgeable associates available to answer questions and to assist in choosing the correct items and accessories.

Went into Harbor Freight for a hot knife this evening. The store was beautifully organized and clean. This was the best Harbor Freight I have been in. They only had one cashier and the store was super busy. It was a Thursday night too. I had a problem finding what I needed and I stood in line to ask the cashier. Heather helped me and told me where to look. I think she did a wonderful job helping everyone only being there by herself. Was a nice experience. Plus I got to see future wants!

Hours on website show they are open on Sunday from 10-2. We drove 27 minutes to see a 8in x 11in paper sign on the door saying Sunday-Closed.

Very busy but well staffed and maintained. No complaints here besides a few of the items I needed were out of stock. But with the amount of business going on inside its hard to keep these shelves full. Kudos to the lady who helped me search for my items. Very helpful!

The quality of their tools has definitely gotten better over the years. If you buy the premium selections, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised. I especially like the Bauer line of cordless tools.

Decent store with good selection of tools. Clean store with friendly staff. Covers wide types of tool categories from concrete mixers to fine metal files to woodworking and more. Relatively inexpensive with mixed quality. Some tools will last a while and others may be basically expendable.

This is the best true value around. Their hardware selection is complete. They have the most stainless steel hardware anywhere you can find. This is what a hardware store should be. Other local stores do not compare. Oh and very friendly and helpful.

They have it all! This place is unique and has a great staff. The shelves are neatly, well stocked. I love browsing and an old school hardware store.

I love going to Harbor freight. They always have things I need and most of the things that I don't need! But we all know how that goes, impulse buys! I always go in for one or two items and wind up spending 60 or $70 every time. But I enjoy every trip the staff is friendly helpful always smiling and pretty knowledgeable about what they have in the store if they don't know where it's at they'll ask somebody who does and if it's not on the Shelf they'll go out of their way to go to the back room to find it..

Rude and totally inconsiderate. I’d waited in line for 15 minutes while the older lady was on the phone. A gentleman walks in and immediately she assists him. I politely shared with her that I’d been standing in line to be assisted, and she proceeded to return the gentleman’s items as though I didn’t exist! I’m human too, clearly not the one she preferred to assist that day. Customer service sucks here! She shouldn’t be in service with that attitude and disregard for people!

Every WalMart store is overwhelming to me but this one was on a whole other level! Between the employees & other customers getting in my way, the shelves weren't fully stocked & a few of my items were damaged but I didnt know until after I got home with my groceries. This was SUCH a stressful trip that I now refuse to EVER return to this particular WalMart store again!

Great True Value location!!! Walked about a mile in quaint downtown/center of Hammond.to reach this store, looking for bleach. All of the employees were super friendly and went out of their way to help me out. If you have hardware needs, this is the place in Hammond, La to make your destination!!

It’s always pretty much organized in the store but it’s just the self check out . I mean there’s someone that works standing there watching & waiting all the time , so why can’t they just be checking people out . It’s ridiculous when you purchased 75 back packs and have to scan each one b/c no option to add Qty is very frustrating .

It's starting to look like a dollar general. Pallets block walking access, the store carts are used for stocking not customers and the employees don't have a clue how to be helpful.
Lowe's isn't much better. 😐

This location doent always have the most staff since Covid 19 pandemic but when they do. They are the most helpful! Thank You for helping get my remodel items chosen.

Needed storage for laundry items and snacks... they had tons of different storage ideas but I chose baskets cause they were so functional. Also bought my faucets here for my kitchen and bathroom... love this store!

Husband and I went in for the big sale. Watching my husband in this store must be how he feels shopping for shoes with me. :) Good prices and wonderful employees. Definitely will be back.
