We went to see Fever for Pink Floyd. It was great.
Incredible architecture to experience inside and outside. Especially in winter.
Christmas lights just next to eaton Center! Open during some evenings to celebrate it. The church is huge even if it looks small on the outside.
I went to Cathedral for a Concert of Gregory Charles called Renaissance.

Fabulous Cathedral, well worth a visit if you are in town. Stunning architecture, incredible Organ and beautiful stained glass.
Very beautiful and breath taking, but also a place for prayer and meditation. I like the fact that it's open to the public and you can donate if you want, not as an obligation which is what should happen in every church or religious place for worshiping. The architecture is amazing and is very spacious. It's in the heart of the architectural tour of Montreal.
It's Amazing, it's an almost exact replica of the St. Peter's Basilica in the Vatican.
The architecture is just amazing and you can feel the history in the place, there's security and a nice souvenir shop with.

Beautiful Basilica, I was overwhelmed by the grandeur of the architecture and hospitality. A must visit if your on a driving pilgrimage like me. God bless ❤️

Christ Church Cathedral in Montreal is an architectural masterpiece! The stunning Gothic Revival design and intricate details are breathtaking. Nice church in Montreal. The status, the inside, next to 2 touristic parks and next to the train station. No washroom nearby except at the touristic office. Worth the visit!
Beautiful church nestled amidst modern skyscrapers in the heart of Montreal!
It is bigger than expected, honestly the size is humongous, especially when standing inside the main nave - after all this is a (tad smaller) replica of Saint Peter's Basilica in Rome. I found a lot of appreciation for the interior design and decoration - the colors are a bit muted and definitely not as extravagant as Basilica Notre-Dame, but very impressive nevertheless. The bishop's mortuary chapel was my favourite part - beautifully decorated, however not publicly accessible (the doors to the chapel are locked).
Entry to the church is free, but small donations are recommended. It's not allowed to take pictures during the masses, but I believe if you are subtle enough, you may snap one or two. A little gift store with religious items is handy as well. The church has multiple entrances/exits, but entering from the front is the most spectacular as you get to see the statues of patrons atop the main entrance, which creates a stunning first impression. I only wish the large cupola was open to the public, as I imagine the views from the top would be breathtaking!
The best way to reach the Church is by Metro as the Bonaventure station is on the same block. It's also wheelchair accessible, making it convenient for all visitors. Visited on a Sunday, July 2023.

The Cathedral is a beautiful church. There is so much to see. The statues, architecture, history etc but most of all its a good church to drop in anytime during the day to pray because its open from about 7:30 am till around 6pm. Not sure about closing time exactly but I do know there is an evening mass at 5pm daily as well as 7:30am and at 12:10. The masses are in French. Confession is available prior to mass. The Cathedral is wheel chair accesible and there is parking. You can get there via metro bonaventure and follow signs.
Saturdays there is a 7:30am mass and a 12:10 mass. Sundays there are masses at 8, 9:30,11, 12:15 and 5. The staff is so so. I do not mean the priests but the workers. There is one very nice security guard but theres also one thats not as friendly.

An oasis in the middle of downtown Montreal! We stopped in for a short visit and we're so happy we did. Built in 1859 this beautiful neo gothic cathedral is absolute stunning. The timber ceiling is breathtaking, I wish I had known about the garden, I hear it is beautiful, next time!
I visited the Mary, Queen of the World Cathedral on a sunny afternoon and I was amazed by its beauty and history. The cathedral is a scaled-down replica of St. Peter's Basilica in Rome, with a stunning dome and a richly decorated interior. The paintings, sculptures and stained glass windows depict scenes from the lives of the saints and the history of Montreal. The cathedral also has a museum that showcases various religious artifacts and artworks. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the admission was free. I highly recommend this place to anyone who appreciates art, architecture and culture.

Mary Queen of the World and St. James the Greater
Mary Queen of the World Cathedral is located in the heart of downtown Montreal, right across from the Dorchester Square. It is also close to the Metro station Bonaventure, orange line.
This Cathedral is ABSOLUTELY Stunning! A Masterpiece!
I was walking around and I noticed this huge, beautiful Cathedral. I entered its vast doors and was welcomed by the most friendliest staff. As soon I entered the Cathedral, I was in Awe. Mesmerized by the beauty. This is the most amazing and peaceful, place I have had the blessing to visit.
The interior is extremely impressive. I couldn't stop taking pictures of every inch. I actually took over 200 photos, but I could only share some of them. I have also shared photos of the Pamphlet
provided by the Staff, explaining the History and details about every inch of this Cathedral inside and the outside.
LOVE the architecture and Immaculate details that are put into this stunning Cathedral. The aisle walls are decorated with beautiful large paintings depicting the early events in the founding of the City. The Cupola will take your breath away. The altar is so elegant. Amazing Acoustics. Just Exquisite!
I honestly felt the presence of the greater power. It is a great place to pray and just sit there in peace and meditate.
We visit Montreal once a year for the past several years and I can't believe I didn't know this Cathedral existed. When in Montreal, this a must visit Cathedral. Unlike some of the other places/Cathedrals/Basilicas, there is no admission fee to enter this Cathedral.
