Great place for a big Greek Wedding
Amazing and moving interior
We recently did a Mobile Axe Throwing event for Serbfest at the church. What a great congregation with tons of activities for the community. Toma was amazing to work with.
BEAUTIFUL on the inside, and a glorious liturgy. As with many Orthodox churches in Chicagoland, it appears to not be heavily populated by converts, although they provide an English liturgy in addition to one in Serbian. It CAN be intimidating for non-Serbs and/or potential inquirers, but that’s the state of Orthodoxy within Chicago at the moment. Overall, as both a non-Serb and inquirer, I love attending when I’m in the area.
SerbFest Chicago 2023 is August 11-13, 2023. The intent of the event is to celebrate our Serbian culture, food, and music with the community at large. Good event , delicious food, live music
The priest here is outstanding.
It pays to visit and converse with him...very thoughtful, easy to understand.
One holy Orthodox Church, where you can receive and work your salvation.
One of the best Orthodox Churches in the Metropolis. Fr. Stamati is incredible.
Beautiful place, great service. Kind parishioners. Hope to go back when I'm in town again!
Warm people , great orthodox service , you really feel God next to you while inside. Not to mention good hand made traditional Romanian food after the religious service. God bless all who made this church and their efforts to instill Gods work in our life
Attended a beautiful Serbian wedding. The sanctuary looks like a beautiful work of art!
Its ok not the most beautiful Serbian church but Church is for GOD.. I just wish the chairs were not their after all it is Orthodox no?
Stuffy, my feet hurt too but that's not their fault. Wasn't exactly handicap accessible so my aunt had to have my cousins pallbear her out.
Every year more and more people visiting serb fest, very good food, roasted lamb was amazing, roasted pork also we eaten cevapi for dessert
Very welcoming parish. Can always walk in on a Sunday and attend liturgy. The chanting and beautiful iconography really lift up your spirits. After church there is also a coffee hour with greek pastries and a lot of great people to meet.
Very friendly and welcoming parish. On the 2nd and last Tuesdays of each month they host a community luncheon. Food and beverages provided by a Chicagoland network of Greek churches.
Românian church where you can meet great people from Romanian Community
Have not attended the church. There is a great Greek festival in fall, with food and dancing.

Building is beautiful, but needs a face lift. Dome of church needs to be painted.
I'm about as religious a shoebox, but I found the Holy Liturgy here to be absolutely beautiful.

You KNOW it's good when an old heathen like me pays any church high praise. :)
