It's a really beautiful place. Doesn't matter if it's winter, autumn, summer or if it's sunny or rainy. It will always be an iconic place. The place is not open to the public yet, but you can sit outside and take pictures in front of the building. Sometimes others come here and do some kind of performance here and there are places to sit and watch the performances with the Notre Dame on the back.

You will find painters in the near, also in front of or there is another beautiful church, the Abbey Bookshop and the Oldest Tree in Paris. So, a lot to see in this area. Enjoy yourself here.

This a beautiful landmark. It's impressive in size and style. A lot of people around. It is situated on a large roundabout which is accessible by a well lit underpass. There is an entrance for ticket holders for the inside of it but also for people who just want a walk around the outside, which we did. Well worth a look.

Will be completed by mid 2024. Still it's a super beautiful place to be. The amount of detail is crazy amazing. When visiting France you have to come here to he Notre Dame Cathedral. It's a must!!! Unfortunately weather wasn't great but still it was a super experience. Dress warm and lots of walking. Definitely a bucket list to do.

this is a piece of Parisian history that is close to my heart because it contains a lot of sacred relics and has a breathtaking structure that absolutely deserves a photo and yet, why not? A nice selfie. Unfortunately it is still closed to the public and will be for a long time, due to a fire, but if you want to get a complete tour of Paris you have to go there. Along the street there are many stalls for souvenirs, but also some uncrowded places to eat well, my advice is to go there in the afternoon and then have dinner in the evening😉

I would like to begin by thanking Jean de Chelles for building this cathedral. It is such a nice place but it is temporarily closed after being caught by a fire. I was not able to get inside it but it was still amazing to see it from the outside. I recommend anybody to come and visit.

The cathedral is still closed after the deadly fire incident a couple of years prior. Renovation works are underway to ensure the site could be opened sometime in 2024. One can find details of this accident outside the Cathedral.
It is one of the historical attractions in the city and can't wait for its opening.

Please Note the date of this review. As of today, this is still closed with the ugly wall around, the rear completely scaffolded and the viewing stage still there.
I'm sure they'll do a great job in restoring this icon but for now, only recommend visiting if you have the extra time.
For me, the gargoyles are everything And still a beautiful structure.
Note: don't expect there to be convenient bathrooms. As you can see on the images, bathrooms are marked, but they are locked and inaccessible. Look for the free gray box rooms around the city for great free bathrooms.

What and incredible landmark and architectural masterpiece. Got consumed by the incredible art pieces and structural magnificence. I was stunned by the sheer spectacular grandeur and genius that went into building this incredible cathedral. So much history and I’m sure millions of tourists have visited this wonderful landmark in the city. Certainly not to be missed by any travelers passing through and looking to enjoy the magnificent construction. A sad day when the building caught fire 🔥 and destroyed so much of this incredible masterpiece. So glad to have captured these images in time and history never to be seen again as destroyed in the fire.

On the website it indicated it was open. When we entered a service was on. We respectfully waited until the end of the service but were approached at the end by a man speaking French that we should leave particularly when we indicated that we spoke English . Ruined my daughters love of learning russian and interest in their culture/ religion. So disappointed.

I've personally been to over 70 churches in Paris, following Guide des visites d'églises published by Art Culture et Foi.

First of all, I must state that this is one of the best churches I've seen in Paris center. It's so intense inside you could feel that this is a special place.

I really wonder why it's not listed in the guide des visites d'églises... This place should imperatively be listed in the booklet... I'm very surprised that such a special place is not listed...

No cameras please. These photos are from postcards purchased at the Cathedrale, of massive, powerful themes of Christ and the apostles. When I viewed these in person they are BREATHTAKING. Jesus walking on water calming the storm...I wept, it is so moving. I found this peaceful beauty as I wandered Parc Monceau and the neighborhood surrounding. It's beauty demands reverence and there is a mystery surrounding the relics.

An wonderful English-speaking church in the heart of Paris, with a beautiful building, a top-notch choir and music program (and a Cavaille-Coll organ!), a 'godly play' based Sunday School program, an active youth program, a Sunday forum each week featuring interesting speakers, and above all a friendly and welcoming community that makes this a great church home for expat families during their time in Paris and long-term residents alike. This is the Cathedral of the Episcopal Church in Europe. Services at 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. on Sundays.
