Top French restaurants in Saint-Tropez, France

Wonderful setting in a quiet alley at the base of the Catholic Church. My wife and I had fabulous service and the food was excellent. My serving of mussels was huge and very well prepared. Truly an excellent dining experience I would recommend to anyone.

Friendly waiter, nice location but expected more from the food food.

Both starters were underwhelming (tomato from the burrata was floury and the salat beneath it had already brown spots, the Aubergine zarte wasn’t even warmed up)

From the main dishes the mussels were served with a delicious sauce while the gnocchi’s lacked flavour and were too greasy.

Considering the Saint Tropez price level all dishes are not expensive, so if you end up with a good dish like other customers you can see it as a good value for money option.

The restaurant is down a lovely quant side street.
The prawn tempura chef’s special starter with homemade guacamole was the best I have ever had.
Would recommend the restaurant to anyone.

Le Bagatelle serve the most wonderful French food. The ambiance was great and the staff were witty and friendly. I’m not a huge fan of muscles, but after trying their stuffed muscles in garlic, I am officially converted! Probably our best French meal yet! A must do if you’re visiting St Tropez.

We were lucky to find a table without a reservation. The owner, a jovial and kind guy, invited us to take a seat immediately. He also recommended the dish of the day. I chose lobster risotto and had the most delicious risotto I've ever eaten. For the aperitif I had mussels, they were also excellent. we will definitely come back

Located in a small romantic street, this amazing french restaurant proposed a great taste in our plates - stuffed zucchini flowers, home made octopus salad (as entry), home made ravioli wiith beef and truffle, beef cheeks, beef tartar as plates. And a cream brulee as dessert. The wine list was very good. We had a great experience!

Great experience and delicous french food. We had home made ravioli, beaf cheeks (omg so good) and tartare. From the deserts - get the creme brulee, home made, very light as texture, super creamy. We got also a bottle of regional Rose wine...

Everything was perfect, even without a reservation they were able to accomodate us for dinner and provide amazing food and atmosphere with a menu for only 25 €. Very nice people, super suggested!

Food is overall good, but both starter and main course lacked seasoning to my liking. The best was their dessert, I highly suggest ordering the Tropeziénne.

Finally, I had ordered a ravioli but received a rigatoni as my dish was swapped with the table beside me. It was annoying, but the waiter admits the error later on and apologised, a gesture I appreciated.

OMG! One of best restaurants I've been on this trip. I had the beef cheek stew and it was wow! I enjoyed the wine. Loved the courgette. And my wife loved the coffee flavored ice cream. Total recommend.

Für uns das beste Restaurant in Saint-Tropez. Während wir in der ersten Reihe unten am Hafen nur von schlechtem Service und überteuerten Preisen enttäuscht wurden, entschieden wir uns zum Glück es weiter innen in der Stadt zu versuchen. Wir hatten großes Glück ohne Reservierung einen Tisch an einem Samstagabend zu bekommen und wurden herzlich empfangen. Der Service von den beiden Herren war herzlich, erfrischend, humorvoll, professionell und einfach wunderbar und das Essen war so gut, dass wir uns wünschten, der Abend würde nie enden.
Zum Abschied winkten wir noch mal die Straße hoch und hoffen, bald wieder dort einkehren zu können. Eine absolute Empfehlung für bestes Essen und beste Gastfreundschaft.

Sehr leckeres französisches Restaurant. Egal ob Pasta, Fleisch, Fisch oder Dessert, alles war sehr lecker. Der Service war freundlich und die Lage sehr schön. Die Preise sind für St. Tropez angemessen. Reservieren oder früh da sein lohnt sich, da die Plätze schnell alle belegt sind. Wir haben kurz nach 12 einen der letzten freien Tische bekommen.

This is a wonderfull small restaurant on a small street near Port in St. TROPEZ. The people are very friendly to start with. The street is wonderfull. The food is amazing. Try the fish soup, it's a must. Moule with cream was better then wonderfull. Octopus salad was great. Merengue was a dream. The little mayonese ans saffron cream they brought was great.
