Legacy saved my life. The staff here truly care about each and every patient. It is the best rehab in south florida. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone who needs it.

I had the joy and privilege of working for Legacy Healing Center in Fort Lauderdale for close to a year. It truly was an environment of progress and growth for both clients and myself. Here I was under probably the best management I have ever been led by. Special shout out to my previous bosses Christen Iacovino and Timothy Rokosv for their leadership. I grew in leaps in bounds in my personal life from the direction and inspiration I found here. This is an amazing place to receive exceptional rehabilitation treatment as well as an awesome place to work!

I am open and honest that I have Been to 8+ treatment programs on my journey to recovery. Legacy is a cut above the rest . They're not just atreatment center, they are a healing center. What's the difference you might ask? I am so blessed to be at this place. I have neglected myself for 27 years and They're guiding me on how to take care of me mentally, spiritually, and physically . This place is magical. I love all the techs , especially Yolanda, JC, Lindsey, Kelli. All including Lindsey (my first point of contact) was so open to sharing their recovery stories and made me feel genuinely cared for . The groups are amazing and the housing will leave you awestruck. Plus many surprises along the way that I have experienced at Legacy that no other treatment centers offer. I give All the thanks to God!! Choose Legacy, you will not be disappointed!!!

My experience with Legacy has been the best thing I could do for myself and my life moving forward. I learned so much about myself and given the tools to move forward in my sobriety and life. Everyone here has dedicated their lives to helping the clients be successful with their recovery. New clients should take what is relative in the groups and therapies and learn from each other as well. What a wonderful experience in a very dark time of my life. I would defiantly come back if needed (but know I’m a one and done!) and would highly recommend Legacy to all of my friends and family.

I found Legacy Healing Center through my insurance. Upon arrival the techs and staff are friendly and focused on hospitality while giving excellent knowledge on your recovery. The medical staff ensures to help you in your healing process while getting down to the root of your addiction. I strongly recommend Legacy as 5 stars for a luxury recovery experience.

At first I was hesitant about being in treatment. What legacy provided was a tremendous amount of support. Through talking with the BHT team, group therapy, my therapist and my case manager I was able to feel comfortable enough to give it the full stay. Service in so be well allowed me to be out of pain so I could focus. Brain paint helped me with feeling more clear to make better decisions. They worked with me in my housing so I could stay and heal. I am forever grateful for all at Legacy. I would recommend this place to all in need to make changes.

Legacy has helped me for several months. They are the most accommodating treatment center I’ve ever experienced. The staff is honest and always there to help you and they get stuff done quickly! I would definitely recommend anyone going to treatment to come to Legacy Healing Center. My Case Manager Linda was AMAZING!!

I chose Legacy out of the hundreds of centers in the Ft Lauderdale area and it was the best decision I’ve ever made.
The facilities & the living quarters were excellent! The techs at the my house, specifically Jason were outstanding. He was understanding & a great listener. Micheal the tech at my next mover to the apartments brought an energy that casted throughout the complex. The facilitators leading our classes are absolutely brilliant and changed my world. Linda was my case manager and in my situation went above and beyond to help me with my issues back home to allow me to concentrate on healing! Thank you Linda!!! Love you. Angelina, my therapist, allowed me to remove all the layers I needed to to make a true and lasting recovery. Thank you to all the staff and clients this was an experience of a lifetime!

I want to say Evolutions treatment has been great. I can definitely say I’m a bigger and stronger minded person. From residential, php, and IOP the experience has been amazing. Friendly staff and intensive therapy, I would highly recommend evolution’s to anyone or your loved ones in need of help for mental / Substance abuse. Also, I want to give a big thank you to Tony, Trent & Raquel.

Evaluations has saved my life and has giving me hope and a new perspective on life the staff are amazing and always willing to work whenever you need there is help 24/7 I recommend this place to anyone who need help whether is mental health or substance or both this place has become like family. A huge shoutout to MOE she has been so welcoming and helped me get situated and feel at peace. She goes way out of her way to make sure that the clients are taken care of. Her unconditional love and words of encouragement along with her unconditional support is amazing I can always go to her if I need anything❤️

I'm very grateful for Evolutions treatment center. I really needed help, and was in a very hopeless situation when I checked in. This place gave me a place to start my recovery journey. The staff all the way from the therapists, the techs, to the cooks we're respectful and worked hard. Dr Buzz who you will get to know if you go to Evolutions is amazing and helped me e immensely in understanding my mental health and how to deal with addiction as well. The program gets better as you go through it. Eventually you get to IOP which is located right on the beach in Lauderdale by the Sea. Evolutions takes lots of insurances, and can help you get your life back on track.

Evolutions treatment facility has really showed me how to accept life on life terms.I go to meetings, & I go to classes. Evolutions is a wonderful treatment facility. Jeremy and the staff helped me out with my day to day struggles. Beano and David are truly here for your best interest. They care about you, and your sobriety.

Evolutions is a great place, the staff cares deeply about your recovery. I was hard headed when I first arrived but after a few good staff members like Peter & Jeremy, I came around & started to really dedicate to my recovery. Would recommend to anyone who’s on the fence about change.

I have to say the treatment here was outstanding and I’ll do things too help of one of my peers and Alumni coordinator must stay here has been outstanding. My case manager Raquel was excellent. She was very helpful in finding housing for me after discharge.

I recently had the privilege of staying at Evolutions Treatment Center, and I can't recommend it highly enough. From the moment I arrived, I felt supported and cared for by the dedicated staff. The center's serene and welcoming environment provided a perfect setting for healing.
The therapy sessions were really good, and the therapists helped me a lot. The groups sessions offered valuable opportunities for connection and mutual support.
The accommodations were comfortable, and the facilities were top-notch. The meals were nutritious and delicious, contributing to my overall well-being during my stay.
Evolutions Treatment Center truly exceeded my expectations in every way. Thanks to their exceptional care, staff and support, I feel equipped to continue my journey toward recovery. I'm incredibly grateful for my experience here and would highly recommend this center to anyone seeking treatment.

I am very grateful to the FARC facility in Ft. Lauderdale. Addiction is a lifelong journey, so finding a place that is supportive and welcoming is important. I live 15 hours away from my loved one, that was there in treatment. Forrest kept in constant contact with me. He answered my questions, which I had many, even after hours, plus was very supportive to me. I can not say enough good things about Forrest. Even after discharge, he continued to keep in touch and offer guidance. He made me feel, that he was truly interested in a successful outcome. The program was exactly what was needed at the time. I am so thankful that God guided us to FARC , the staff, and continues to guide in the recovery.

Evolutions was the absolute worst treatment center I've been to. The staff are the most disgusting and disrespectful people I've ever met. The way they treat their clients is absurd. The housing is not up to standards.
They discipline their clients in a manner that is not acceptable. Knowing the fact I came here to get better , I left with extra baggage from them.
I would highly you continue your search with getting help for your loved one. Stay away from this facility at all costs.

FARC was a great place. The staff is on point and the owners truly care. I highly roccomend!

Awesome people who are truly there to help. They have smaller more intimate groups which really made me feel more comfortable about opening up about my problems. They have the best group facilitator I'd ever met.

Linda and the staff here go above and beyond to help lead you in the right direction in your recovery. This treatment center saved mine and my fiancés life and I couldn’t recommend it enough. Because of their compassion, patients and program my fiancé and I both have a year and a half clean in 2 months, a baby girl of our own, and a beautiful home and life. I can’t thank them enough.

Great place! Staff is compassionate and genuine. Comfortable environment and the community is encouraging. I would highly recommend FARC to anyone

Destination Hope played such a massive part in getting me back on my feet and helping get me on the path of substance abuse and mental health recovery. The therapists , clinical director, program director, and group facilitators were so caring and influential in my process. They were able to challenge me to grow while being compassionate and empathetic. I truly wouldn’t be where I am today without my time spent at DH.

I attended this “recovery” program and came out more sick and traumatized than I started. Run!!!! I had a life threatening allergic reaction to one of the meds, they did not catch it and it almost took my life. The whole process is solely for financial gain. I have reported insurance fraud to my insurance company and they have opened an investigation. The staff is *borderline* abusive, but is *absolutely* neglectful….creating a space for the sick to become gravely unwell. My prayers to anyone who has previously survived and lived to tell their story. What a dark dark place…..

I was There 3 Times . They Helped Me and Kept me Safe! I’ll never Forget The People And Experiences. But my primary issues were Beyond. What they can do. In a few months. It was A Trip!!!! Hoh lol!

Destination hope is very important for me and has a important place in my heart because I learned a lot about mental health and about myself so thank you very much I now have four years mental health clean today thanks to DH

Destination Hope was a lifesaver for me. Everyone, from the nurses, techs, and clinical staff, cared for my well-being and recovery. Shout out to Lystra, who found a way to help me dig deep and deal with some of the hardest things I’ve faced in my life. I am now in a recovery home and doing well in my recovery. I’ve been to other treatment centers and have never had the experience I had here. If you want recovery and are ready to do the internal work, this is your place. I’m beyond grateful for the love and care they showed me.

Wonderful staff there! They really care about your treatment and are very knowledgeable on the mental health aspect of recovery! Shout out to Geneva, Chelsea, Keanna, Gabe and all the rest of the staff!

While some staff was amazing, (Ms D, the nurse, WOW) (One counselor, shared with clients & families, his story, time, experience and guidance) (One staff member was tough on clients, but you could see and feel the love & dedication. I think her name was Ms Margie?), admins were dismissive & nonresponsive to family members. Had to start emailing and following up on all to advocate. SPECIAL NOTE: They hired a secretary while we were there who.was mean, rude, dismissive... she was the worst front desk person. She would refuse money for clients, speak to family horribly, and new none of the policies, so she made up her own, which were generally not in favor of clients rights, comfort or mental health.
We chose this place on recommendations from lawyer, judge, counselors, & research on their website, but found many of the promised items were not being followed thru on. Weekly family sessions NEVER happened. Visitations started 4months in on 6month program, but were disorganized, with no food allowed. For children visiting a parent or family member, very hard. When milestones were achieved, the clients may or may not recieve the new lanyard of status which means they may or may not recieve the benefits, rewards associated with making the progress. This is not good for addicts or people trying to mintin mentl health stbility. There was a mold issue, which was remedied, however over the course, they moved property and 6 months after discharge, they still refuse to respond or return blankets, clothes, court documents. Over all, those who were good, were great. And if someone wants to be well, they will work the program and get well. This facility does it part, though they could do better.

I was a Destination Hope client over 5 years ago. With the help of the entire staff, I was able to put my life back together, stay clean and gained a life beyond my wildest dreams. This program saved my life, and I cannot thank them enough for what they do. The entire staff, their program, and facilities provides a safe place to those seeking help from Addiction/Mental Health disorders. I am truly grateful for everything they did for me and highly recommend this treatment center to those who are suffering as I did when I first arrived there.

DH saved my life after going thru there 7 years ago. It was my 1st time in treatment where I learned the steps and the clinical part of my disease. DH changed my life and I wouldn’t still be sober today without them.

i have mixed feelings about destination hope, but i know that my life has changed tremendously after leaving dh. i honestly hated my time there, but i was 22 years old and in early recovery, and people were trying to tell me what to do so obviously i was gonna hate it 😂 fast forward about 2 years, i still use a lot of the stuff i learned there (dbt, coping skills, etc) ive been clean for over 1 year now and it took me some time to get there, but the staff is harsh cause they know it’s necessary. dh is pretty cool (s/o gabe who was my therapist during my time there in 2022 hes the realest, 10 stars for gabe)

Such a great place! My boyfriend and I both were at FARC for almost 3 months and I thank God every day for bringing Linda, Alex, Tali and the rest of the staff into our lives. Everyone there really cares and will do anything to make you feel comfortable and help you to achieve and maintain sobriety.

Florida Addiction Recovery Center is instrumental in getting individuals into a safe place to get sober and learn how to live a life of recovery! I can’t say enough good things about the people who work there, they are such kind, caring, and a compassionate group of wonderful people!! If you or a loved one is looking for treatment, please, give
them a call. The family environment and one on one care makes them a cut above the rest.
them a call. The family environment and one on one care makes them a cut above the rest.

Its beyond me how someone can have compassion towards people but have none when it comes to animals. A dog was found and was just dropped off like garbage. I was told that if I didnt take this dog that it was going to be left out in the street. When dealing with addicts you would expect love towards all living things, what is this teaching the people in your care if you cant even show a small dog love and compassion?!?!

DO NOT COME HERE. DO NOT BRING ANYONE YOU LOVE HERE.. IT IS A SCAM. I GOT PTSD FROM STAYING HERE.. Selfish greedy people run this place. Do not go here they will not help you. They just want money.

House of Hope is a great program if you're looking to change, If you're looking to dodge prison then it's not the program you want to go to. It will help you learn about who you are, why you are having such a hard time staying away from drugs and alcohol,, and teach you the way to lve a happy, drug free life.

Although covid caused me to return home a few days early the lessons and skills I learned have helped tremendously.. Thank you to staff at Pathways I'm 9 months clean and blessed with continued sobriety and happiness..

They should be punished to the fullest degree of state Florida law. I don't even need to rate my experience to tell you they are absolutely in line to be the next shutdown Treatment Center in this mockery of an industry.

In the darkest hours of my life, Pathway to Hope gave my life back. They walked me through severe depression, mania, and extreme anger. With their help I learned I am not a bad person, that I am capable of loving and being loved. That life is about the connections we make with people. Thank You!

Awful experience. We took a young woman we were trying to help to Slyvia Brafman after she was baker acted. They do not focus on mental health. The staff is a revolving door which only tells me they don’t treat their employees right. This is a drug and alcohol rehab but I would never take a loved one there for this they will probably return worse. When I reached out to the management they did not respond. For a place that claims they want to help they don’t. To top it off she was billed for a bunch of treatment she did not receive. Stay away!

This place has many issues. First and for most the place is run down. But the biggest issue is the operation manager. Marcus Strong has singled out my love one and is currently making his stay hell. Sanctions are given for petty reason which is making him regress in his recovery. He is not able to go and look for work because sanctions have been unecesaraly put on him which has also affected me from visiting him and giving him my support in order to recover. Using that he is a DOC client as a upper hand in doing so. This is not productive to his recovery and is causing him emotional harm which causing him to regret taking this as an option. Which is sad because this is what he needed. I am disappointed that this is what it has come to and would hope that with this review there would be some improvements.

Pathway to Hope saved my life. Sorry if this sounds melodramatic, but it is my experience. Drugs and alcohol took everything from me (material as well as friends and family).
Pathway provided me with every resource imaginable to regain my life. One on one and group therapy only scratches the surface of what was provided. Physical, emotional and spiritual issues were addressed. There were weekly sessions covering yoga, exercise, nutrition, family issues and off campus 12 step meetings once my head cleared up a bit.
Recovery is hard and not everyone makes it. This is not a resort; it is a drug and alcohol rehab. There were ups and downs during my stay, but the staff did everything in their power to give all clients an opportunity to regain our lives. There were for us.
There was never any pressure for me to check out until the clinical staff thought I was ready. I never felt that the “bean counters” were calling the shots.
Once discharged, I was still looked after. The aftercare program has branches all over the county and the alumni director makes regular contact. The alumni program has been very helpful to me over the last two years. I feel like the entire staff is still with me (figuratively).
Bottom line; a great in-patient facility that has kept up with me long after leaving Pathway. With the tools given me, I have been sober for over 2 years.
Feel free to contact me with any questions about this review.

Andendum......when I made my first review (further below) it was prior to finding out that I owed around $100K (give or take) in medical bills that were not covered. I was told when I was first being processed that at most I would owe around $3K. Not so at all. After a lot of headaches, calling insurance company, calling various Billings and sending hardship letters one bill for $30K has settled for me to owe $3K; another bill (the urine tests which occurred on average 4 days a week) for $18K they settled for $3,500 which I had to pay in full with a credit card today. There is an additional $90K that is unsettled and which I sent a hardship letter so the outcome is uncertain. When they tell you that insurance will cover it, don’t believe it because I have great insurance and they did not cover all of it. Am I clean? Yes but I’m now very depressed and stressed.
Previous Review:
I had come to a crossroads as to keep going and declining with my addiction or take a leap of faith and surrender to the program. I surrendered and put my fate in the hands of Pathway To Hope. That was August 25th, 2017 and I’ve been opiate free since then. Today is May 28th 2018 and life is so much better now.

BULLDOZE THIS GULAG DOWN. IT NEARLY KILLED ME a decade ago. THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION. IT HELPS NO ONE. As for anyone who gets well : They did it all by themselves and such successful individuals are pawning off the credit to an undeserving party. Whether that is House of Hope or A.A. or any other 12 Step Clone group. All the 5 star reviews are written by current, or former Staff members, or clients looking to win points with the Staff (They probably just don't want to return to Jail and will say ANY NONSENSE to make sure of that). Nora Volkow it Leon Trotsky's great grand daughter. I personally find this bizarre and disturbing. Then again, Frank Buchman loved Hitler. And without him Bill Wilson would have no Blueprint for his fraudulent cult religion. I had to watch videos featuring Ms. Nora Volkow in House of Hope. I still recall the painful Russian accent I heard while Detoxing to the point of nearly having Grand Mal Seizures and no one at all gave a damn. These Didactic, biased , Junk Science teaching videos that substituted for a real live staff member much of the time, they were and are made mostly by HAZELDEN.(Now bought out by BettyFord) Volkow is another Guru, a member of the Addictionology Priest Class, along with guys like Terrence Gorski, another Charlatan. As for this specific location and the staff members: NEPOTISM plus FRAUD explains why it is staffed the way it is. Many of the Clients had no clear addiction/chemical abuse issues, because they were at H.O.H. as part of Florida State Statute 916 (Nicknamed "Nine -Sixteens") It is a Official way of saying these people are such good liars or so out of touch with reality thanks to extreme mental issues, coupled with obscene ignorance of objective reality, that the 9-16 clients( about 1 in 3 of the total population a decade ago) were deemed INCOMPENTENT TO STAND TRIAL.They had to attend groups in which they learned what a "Judge" is, and so on. Most were faking ignorance or incoherent stupidity, but that didn't mean that they were not Criminally Dangerous. They threatened me..The rest got charged with mostly Minor Drug Offenses-these are victimless crime..there is no such thing as a victimless crime except in our modern Legal System. No one beside me was diectly harmed by my own actions leading up to my coerced stay at HOH. Because I wasn't bothering anyone else, and such little desire to bother anyone else that I went on a Suicidal Nihilistic Downward Spiral. While forced to be locked up in rehab where NOTHING, (Except AA & NA Nonsense) is taught. We were also taught that we were all horrible people (by other addicts+ alcoholics, hoping to recruit as many of us into a 12 Step Program as possible.) The head Admistrator there was Gerri Peppitone. She looked like Humpty Dumpty and talked like a Prison Warden. Frank Berardi was a bigtime AA advocate and a loser who Golfed for fun. That's his Recovery.. Please get hit by lightening on the Fairway, Frank. The other component of Berardi's Job was deciding who needed to go back to jail. I had cops raid my room because my bunkie went to the Beach for a few hours earlier in the week. That's how insanely strict this nonsense control grid/Police State really is. I recall even after my two months of unnecessarily horrible detoxing from benzos plus opiates, all AT THE SAME TIME, Left me puking and shaking and wigging out and collapsing uncontrollably for 2 months. Every time I went to the hospital, ALL my valuables were stolen: its 100% prison mentality. Psychiatrist Frances Caratinni falsely accused me of being stoned during an outpatient visit, thus terminating the already poor med mgmt that she had begun with me. She was a real-life Nurse Ratched (From "One Flew Over The Cukoo's Nest"). Even looked similar. She gave me a nasty cocktail that gave me Serotonin Syndrome or something very close to it, and it made detoxing that much more complicated when a SSRI CAUSES: Headaches, anxiety, depersonalization/derealization, disorientation, Diarrheah, etc.

Really caring place.... they go above and beyond to help.... even if they can’t.

I was introduced to PTH over a year ago and my journey still includes them. The staff is caring and passionate about their job and are always sharing there journey with you(as a company and as individual staff). There alumni service have been one of the most helping, resourceful tools I have utilized in my transitioning into my new journey here in Florida. Katie and Gina go above and beyond.
This place is a great start for a new life. It wil save your life if you are receptive, remain teachable and open-minded. Once I stopped fighting, life became peaceful. And that is what I truly wanted. I am beyond grateful PTH!

I entered detox in Feb and ended IOP in May. The staff was attentive to my needs and struggles. Treatment is never easy and I am grateful for the experience. The residence provided an onsite pool and weekely outings to the movies and bowling. Also catered food for lunch and weekly grocery trips. They also brought in outside fellowships to carry the message of hope. The clinical staff provided what I NEEDED, not WANTED. Continued aftercare has been provided with bi-weekly alumni meetings and events. I would recommend this facility for anyone who is seeking recovery. Willingness is everything. They gave me the time to work on myself and broke me down where I needed to grow. Length of stay is determined by insurance coverage but they will work with you.

Never send your kid there. It looks good till you see in person a Crack motel. I paid $25,000 for a Crack motel. The pictures are all photo shopped. I went to get off of meds due to doctor. Not a person who was on the streets. I got my $25,000 back they new I was gonna sue. Don't send your kid there. Pathway to dope. God bless all who do want to quit. But pick a better place. T.y. Learned the hard way.

My stay at Pathway to hope was comfortable & pleasant, the staff as a whole was very professional.I was treated with dignity & respect by my clinician who I appreciate so much for all the knowledge & tools that he taught me about how to stay sober. I would recommend Pathway to hope to anyone that's serious about getting sober or drug free, besides God the staff as a whole at Pathway to hope saved my life & I am so very thankful !!!!!!!!!!!

Stepping Stones saved my life. After 38 years of drug abuse and several arrests followed by other drug programs (drug court and IRT), none of which worked for me, this program worked! Today after nearly 7 years, I returned to Stepping Stones as a former client, to inquire if my counselor was still there. She is and I felt a need to express my gratitude for helping me become the person I've been meant to be. Thank-You Stepping Stones for giving me the tools and support and understanding of myself to live a productive and exciting life again. And thank-you Judge Beach for not giving up on me! UPDATE: It is now 5 years later and I am now 12 years gratefully clean! Thank-you again to Stepping Stones and Judge Beach (may she RIP).

The quality of services at House of Hope is renown by judges, State agencies and families all over Florida. The staff goes through the same tough employment requirements as State employees. House of Hope goes through extensive audits from the Department of Corrections, the management entity for the Department of Children and Families and external auditors several times a year, every year.
The clients at House of Hope receive the best possible care and it can count its success stories in the thousands.
There will be no better place to look for help.

I am a management consultant that has had the opportunity to work with the entire supervisory/management staff for the past two months. I have been impressed by their desire and passion to provide outstanding professional services to their clients and both internal and external customers. I am confident that this facility strives to meet or exceed the expectations of all of their contacts.

Life before Sylvia Brafman Mental Health Center was tumultous for everyone, but especially for my son. I was in denial about his addictions. We knew that there were some mental health issues and compounded with the substance abuse, our son was impossible to be around. When SBMHC did not prove to be a long enough program for him, the therapists at SBMHC recommended a long term, residential treatment center.
I truly believe that SBMHC was the beginning of a life saving, life altering journey for my son. In fact, it has been a life altering journey for me. Thanks to SBMHC I have learned not to be an enabler. After 18 months, I still attend Family Night each Wednesday.
Life after SBMHC--what can I say. Life is totally different. I have learned to live "Just for Today" and to celebrate each day that my son is able to stay clean and sober--15 months and counting. While he is still out of state and I miss him terribly, SBMHC has helped me to learn that being away is a good thing for him for the moment.
For the rest of my life, I will be indebted to SBMHC for their help in treating my son and teaching me how to be supportive in a healthy, positive manner. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for saving my son and our family.
