I came to Believe recovery services right out of rehab from the arc February 14th 2022 I promised myself I would stay until I was ready and I ended up staying for over a year I learned so much about myself and so much more I found my strength in her program I also found myself I slipped up but she does not shoot the wounded she showed me love and compassion as well as empathy and we work through it together I have over 10 months over now and I'm doing amazing because I was able to take the time and work through my issues thank you heather for opening your door
My 11 year old daughter was admitted and the facility withheld the medication that essentially keeps her alive for the 2 days she was there despite it being clearly listed on all intake documents that she required it. I had to beg and plead for them to transfer her to banner to get her medically stabilized. Upon arrival at banner her cortisol levels were so low they were undetectable. It could have been a fatal experience had I waited until the next day to demand they transferred her. All the staff clearly showed their lack of care for the situation with their poor attitudes and actions.
Hello my name is lupita,I’m here to give my comments about this behavior health center. Receptionist was very rude on the phone. My mother was placed there for like about six days. They went through her purse, took out her items and didn’t give them back. She went back to the place and on camera. She told Receptionist that they didn’t give her back her wallet They proceeded to tell her that she did have it and sent her on her way, not knowing the way her conditions are they put her in an Uber and when she went home she gave me a call and let me know everything about this place people there are Thieves, they do not help. They don’t have proper communication 10. People go through your stuff a who knows u took it . I don’t recommend Anybody to this behavior health center!
Thank you Sonora for helping me not go back to mental hospitals because you made my experience so terrible:) I wasn't even admitted fully but the intake and evaluation was enough to know that you shouldn't come to this place or recommend it to someone. Some staff became hostile very quickly and easily, if you weren't anxious or depressed coming in you would be coming out, it took more than 3 hours to even be seen and I was falsely admitted even though I wasn't seen or evaluated, wasn't at risk, I didn't want to go and my mom didn't want me to either and they threatened DCS if we left even though we just wanted to go somewhere else for evaluation. Not to mention it being unsanitary, they literally didn't let us leave in general and because they had our belongings and said something about it being against the law even though IT IS NOT. They just spew random stuff to keep you there unwillingly. The only thing you get out of here is a panic attack and what they take is your time, money, and dignity. I'd give it negative stars if I could.
I know someone who was here over the past week. I called when she was first being admitted and the receptionist said she would take down my name and number and give it to my friend if she was there because I needed a code to speak with her directly and I didn't have it. Understandable as I know they can not confirm nor deny if someone is there. However, I called every single day multiple times a day for 5 days and the phone has not once been picked up since then. Maybe there is no receptionist on the weekend- but literally no one picked up the phone for 5 straight days which I find to be completely unacceptable and unprofessional.
Had the most traumatic experience of my life while hospitalized here. I have never written a review but truly feel that I have to warn people. Aside from all the abuse experienced here, they never gave me any of my personal clothes, even once discharged. Had to come back to the hospital to pick up my stuff, half of which had been stolen and they can’t account for. All of the staff except for one person was abusive in their power and demeaning and disrespectful to all patients. Dr. Garcia was over medicating me to the point of sedation and despite severe side affects of those medication I was threatened with court ordered treatment rather than a change in medication that didn’t make me sick. Not to mention I only ever saw him while being held down in my bed by hospital staff and was never given the opportunity to meet with him. 2 min visits with a counselor that only asks if you want to harm others and then kicks you out. My medical records were shared with family members and people who I had not consented or given a release of information for. I have night terrors I am still in this place and I hope no one’s loved ones ever have go through what I did while I was there. Haven’t slept soundly since I left months ago.
I Would never recommend this Place to anyone! I went here and the manager named Neil is a full fledged racist! (I'm Black) Everytime he would see me he would call me Boy make racist Black jokes and whenever he wanted me to do something he would just snap his fingers and say clean that up Boy, wash this car Boy, Clean the Bathroom Boy! Constantly attacking my Humanity! I attempted to let my parole officer know that I can't be there for certain reasons as the stipulations of me Being at TLC were if I get kicked out I go back to Prison! She told me to just bare with it!

Plus even though I had a job and was paying my rent Neil would come grab me and force me to do labor without no form of payment!

All in All if one goes there you will have to do free labor, hear racist remarks, get treated like a dog, and Be threatened to be kicked out if you go against any of this! I do not recommend this to anybody! If you are truly trying to make it sober or if you were sent there do to parole or probation please find a different halfway house! If you look at the most of these reviews you can see for yourself that the majority are Bad reviews they are like that for a reason! Go to a place that values you as a Human Being! As this place does not!
One shouldn't have to fake a smile and suffer through derogatory terms all because he was given the stipulations of either you stay here or you go back to prison! They do not have any functioning programs! You may sit in a circle for group meetings but nothing is spoken on! The staff who are ex prisoners themselves have no respect or morality for the next man!
DONT GO HERE! My sister came out and told us about the nightmare of a time she had, they medicated her and she had a allergic reaction and proceeded to tell her she was being dramatic when she was screaming and crying that she couldn’t breathe…she could’ve died and staff told all the kids not to comfort her when she told us that she needed to be comforted. Also the staff can’t handle the job of working here because they get mad and hit the children and throw things when they are “bad”aka crying because they miss their parents so they’ll give them shots to shut up. If you call them to ask about your kid they get snappy and short and hang up, red flag. They watch them while they make calls home to make sure the kids aren’t telling in them, another reason why my sister was to scared to tell how she was being treated. For a place to help your mental health, this is NOT it they need new jobs or something because that’s ridiculous and VERY unprofessional. 0 stars feels more appropriate:)
Stay far away from them !! My loved one fresh out of prison was already being hounded by Neil for money. We would be on the phone and Neil would barge into the house screaming at them telling him he’s going to get kicked out if he doesn’t give him money immediately. There forced to do carwashes on weekends then Neil takes it to spend on the casinos. 3 weeks go by and my loved one is 2 days away from his very first check ready to pay rent and when Neil came screaming at him and he wasn’t able to give any money he was told to pack his bags and leave. Kicked him out late at night, new back into the world and sober just thrown out. If you want help staying sober or looking for support don’t go here. They stole his clothes and won’t give them back! So sad who knows how many people were set up by Neil for failure actually trying to get there life together.
Communication is a huge problem here, no one calls you to let you know what's going on. The Dr's are very brief with patients and the nurses are so rushed because of the patient demand that they can't properly do their job either. The floor staff are mostly young adults that are very disrespectful and don't really care about anyone or anything. The facility itself needs a severe deep cleaning, during the visit with my son the smell in the cafeteria was horrendous and the walls, floors and furniture were filthy. I understand that there are alot of moving parts to a facility like this and alot of precaution has to be taken due to its nature of patients but this is unacceptable in my mind. I do feel like they did help my son with some of his issues but I do not think I will bring him back here again.
Saving lives. Best recovery program 100%
These people actually care about you and give you the chance to recover safely.
My first time at a facility like this. The two I was in after this were not nearly as beneficial. Hospitalized first part of 2023. I'll list what I remember was good. The beds were terrific, the art classes engaging, they played music I enjoyed; even in the common area and not just during outside breaks. I loved the staff, but was told by another patient they weren't good. I did have a confusing interaction with one nurse as I wasn't sure of their position but it turned out ok in the end. I made good friends there! Lots of connection. Cody, one of the techs I especially loved. Showers were good. Gave one free cigarette for outside breaks. I was a previous smoker and indulged their offer. Enjoyed the outside breaks immensely. A lot of fond memories of the facility and fellow patients I met. There wasn't anything I could view as negative, unlike the next two I was in. Five star psych hospital was my experience!!!
Bestest aftercare in Tucson !!!!!

Hedrick House provided an unforgettable and transformative recovery journey. Led by exceptional staff members Ed, Jerry, Jay, and Kyle, their unwavering support and dedication were truly outstanding.

Ed's wisdom and hope served as a guiding light, offering invaluable insights for maintaining sobriety beyond the house. Jerry's friendly demeanor and accountability made him a reliable friend, always ready to lend a helping hand. Jay's positive energy and impressive skills contributed to a vibrant and uplifting atmosphere.

Kyle, an exceptional mentor, went above and beyond with late-night talks and ensuring our safety, along with Jay's efforts. The culinary talents of Joe and Mike, the cooks, nourished both our bodies and spirits, creating a warm and welcoming home.

The camaraderie among residents fostered personal growth and healing, and I was fortunate to have wonderful roommates. The staff's genuine care for our well-being was evident in their tireless efforts to provide resources and encouragement for our success.

Being part of this supportive and caring community at Hedrick House has left an indelible mark on my life. Thanks to the amazing staff, my recovery journey has been positively transformed. I wholeheartedly recommend Hedrick House to those seeking a place to begin their recovery - a team of dedicated people like this is unparalleled.
Love you guys.

I spent 1 year there after my release from jail. I felt like an imposter since I wasn't there because I wanted to be , I was there because I had no choice . The food was good and Joe (cook) knew I'd clean up whatever was left , so he kept piling it on until the pans were empty. I recall cleaning up about 3-4 or more heaping plates of mac'n cheese 🧀 just to help clean things up . I'm shocked to hear the complaints about bedbugs . We kept everything clean when I was there in 93 -94 . I cleaned daily to pay off community service . We didn't have any bug problems back then , and I hope they fix that problem soon.
Very pleased with their program and custom designed plan for each resident.
Sad to say our grandson checked himself out when he turned 18. Prayers for any person not staying in that life changing program. What a opportunity with their caring staff. Grandma
I Came to BelieveRecovery because my life had gotten completely Unmanageable. Heather and the women here welcomed me with open arms and hearts. I've grown so much in the 2 months I've been here. I've laughed, cried, smiled, healed, and am learning so much while continuing to grow. Heather is very down to earth and understanding as she was once an addict as well. It's such a beautiful thing she is doing Helping those who are willing to help themselves. She does a lot for the community too, and is a strong woman with a powerful testimony. I AM SO BLESSED AND HAPPY FOR BELIEVE RECOVERY SERVICES.
This place is horrible! This was given to my brother as his breakfast on Monday, May 30th. How can they be giving this to people?! I will be contacting the city to file a complaint of the foods they are giving people! This isn’t right!

This place changed my life. The staff there truly care about your sobriety. Ed and Jerry are good men who truly want people to live and not die to addiction. If you need help staying sober, I recommend Hedrick House.
In balance IOP HAS been a big part of my recovery! Am grateful
The intensive outpatient program (IOP) located on Grant was 10 weeks very well spent and has made a significant difference in my life.
Havent had the privilege of staying and going through this program, but someone very close to me is and I'm very proud with the recovery shes made so far and the woman she has become. Heather Picard is an amazing woman herself and cant wait to meet her in person.
I graduated this program the people are great the roommates you live with are all serious about getting their lives together. Without this program i would not be where i am in life today i have a great job and a truck it was not easy but the dedication the people give to each individual person in this program gives you hope and inspiration to fuel your own dedication thus making the program actually pretty simple thank you Believe Recovery Services for helping me get my life together couldn't have had a better team and couldn't have accomplished what i have today without you
I am so thankful for this program. I discovered who I am and learned how to stay clean here. My life is changed because of Heather Picard who stood by me when no one else did and still stands by me today. I learned so many skills in this program and strengthened my relationship with God. I also now have a wonderful relationship with my family, which is something I have lacked for 2 decades. I have struggled with addiction for 30 years and now I truly am free. God definitely has His hand on this program and blessed me with this spirit of freedom that I thought I would never see.
I became sober for over 20 yrs., due to the 6 months I spent at the Hedrick house. They provided a clean and safe environment for me to learn to think , and act, like a sober, and normal person. My hat is off to pat, and the many others who helped me down the path to recovery.
Don't believe the negative reviews you see about this place. When I came here I had been through rehab for 6 months. And in those 6 months I learned that when you need help, it wont be on your own terms. Of course we all would like to have some perfect beautiful environment to call home while we get our lives together but it depends on how we choose to look at it. When I got here I was scared at first.

It wasint as "pretty" as the two story 5 bedroom rehab I had came from and it has its flaws just like any place will, but is it as bad as the situations I had came from? Not by a long shot... The Hedrick house gave me a place thats SAFE to build my life back up and that started with a bed, washer and dryer, food and the patience trust and respect to get a job with no money up front.

Sure I still had the responsibility to catch up on rent that starts on day one but in less than two to three months I was current on rent and able to better make my room my home. All it takes is alittle motivation and work on your part to make this place something more than just a halfway house. People complain about the bed bugs and I get that, i really do. But believe me when I say this but I have been to places that claim to be A shelter of christ, god serving christian based places that are so raunchy it should be a crime they remain open....

A bed bug bite or two every few weeks or so, is by far not the worst thing thats happening in my life... If you keep your room clean and help do your part in controlling the minor issue, we can go weeks without a bite. Its just what unfortunately comes with the territory of having many people from various levels of homelessness or personal hygiene habits. 600 dollars a month may seem like alot to some but those are the people who are fooling themselves.

For what I pay every month, I need not worry about a single thing while I am given the chance to really focus on ME and my recovery. No utility bill, no food costs, nothing. I can work through my problems and have a safe place to come to after a hard day at work and dont have to worry about a thing... This place promotes taking your life seriously and they give you more than enough rope to hang yourself with.

Its a true testing ground for facing life on lifes terms. Theres no holding your hand through this here. Youre told to find a job, pay your rent, don't use or drink, be back on property by curfew, (11pm weekdays- 12am weekends unless you are on pass or work hours dictate) if youre honest about yourself and really want to get it right, this is the best place you will ever find....

Its safe here... Food is spectacular, the people here are some of the greatest friends ive met but there will always be the one or two who cause an issue for themselves or others but as its been said "the trash will take itself out".

Im so greatful to have found this place. If you cant stand it here, then youre not sick and tired of being sick and tired... Keep trying...

I live up the street from the Herrick house. I think it's great they give the support you need! Just gotta be strong & focus on the good future that awaits you! The food does smell great! Good luck! 🤗
This program helps mold and shape the lives of so many women on a daily basis. Recovery is a difficult process, but with women like Heather Picard by your side the possibilities are endless! Her love, know-how and compassion for the recovering addict is evident in her programs success. I recommend this program to any woman who has the desire to change her life and begin to learn how to live clean!
Believe recovery services has two sober living homes. One is Genna’s House For Women, the second is the Recovery house. Both recovery homes are full of positive energy if you really want to get your life together and You are serious about your recovery then call believe recovery services. I have watched Women come scared broken insecure and leave confident stable and full of hope! It’s an amazing program.
