Our project is a complex 6 month structural & gut renovation of a Chelsea flat & rear garden, its awkward, labour intensive & high spec Adrian & his team are exceptional everything is being completed 100% on time & with maximum attention to detail. We did a full audit of their company reviews (checkatrade etc) before we contacted them, spoke with previous clients etc and found everyone gave them 10/10 on all counts. Similar to the other post below, Fixt sent someone out to quote for some work in November. I had to chase a few times to get the quote which arrived about three weeks later. After several further attempts to follow up, I’ve given up

Complete house refurb including rear extension

The project involved building rear extension in order to create a spacious living space, which was completed to a high standard. They refurbished the entire house, installing 2 new bathrooms and kitchen, underfloor heating and flooring throughout.They were very professional handling the project. Over the past 3 days we’ve had Rui over doing work at our property and WOWWW! This review is specifically for him because we honestly can’t thank him enough. He was so professional, a perfectionist and extremely hard working. He took care of all of our concerns with speed and precision. A big thing for me is timing and when I say he was here waiting at the gate 5 minutes before the scheduled time everyday! If we ever need anymore work done, I will definitely be personally requesting him. For context, we had several holes on the walls and chipping on the ceilings, as you can see everything is beautifully cleaned up and repainted. Thank you Rui & Optimal!

Claudio and Edu replaced a leaking skylight as well as re-made my broken manifold cover (hard to describe this thing if you don't have one).

Neither was an easy job, the manifold cover had to be hand made on site and the skylight was on the highest point of my home.

Between an on site visit for a quote and the works starting hardly any time passed.

Both, Claudio and Edu worked very well as a team and very efficient. They were very easy to have in my home and pleasant. The work itself was outstanding, I no longer live with a constant fear of water damage!

Mick was outstanding, did a fantastic job of replacing my window, and I couldn't be happier. He was also very friendly and polite, easy to have around the house. He also ensured that he left the space clean and tidy before he left. Along with fixing our toilet seat that has been an ongoing issue in our household! Period property, two level flat, complete refurbishment and extension. Adrian, Julian and team were great builders this was a major piece of work and the quality and care they showed was exceptional. Great communication throughout. three new bathrooms, extensive flooring new electrics and heating, three steel beams and perior plaster work replaced.

I couldn't be happier with the GPS handyman service. I'd built up a number of small jobs - hanging heavy mirrors, putting up a long curtain pole, easing a sticking front door, plus others - and they sorted them all out in an hour flat. They are also very pleasant people to deal with.

GPS Maintenance Ltd is a godsend. I've used its services for eletrical work, plumbing, installing light fixtures, and am completely satisfied with their services and job pricings. Every community needs one.

Very disappointing.

After 3 years of a mostly positive relationship, GPS were extremely rude to us, declining a job in the most aggressive way possible, after delaying us for several weeks.

In early August, we requested a quote for a job. We had a tight timeline, which they understandably couldn't meet, but we were told they should be able to do it in late September or early October.

We called at the beginning of September to request a date, and were told that they couldn't provide one yet, and to call back in 2 weeks. Calling back two weeks later, we were rudely told that they wouldn't be doing the job, because they were tired of us constantly calling them.

Because of this, we have been unable to use our bathroom for 4 weeks, during which time we could have been talking to other companies. We waited for them, and the net result of doing so was to be treated rudely over the phone, and to be strung along with the possibility they would do the job, despite apparently having no intention to really do so.

Martyn was very reliable and communicative. I'm an overseas landlord and he assessed the two problems and returned for the second visit (arranging access directly with my tenants). I will not hesitate to continue to use his services when required! Thank you!

Martin has done work for me on two occasions - hanging large pictures and some handyman work. i was really impressed by his attention to detail and genuine passion for the work he does. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Martin and intend to use him in the future.
