Westmont Yard has been a huge part of our lives for many years, we have met so many great coaches and staff who still remain friends to this day. My son attended before/after care and summers fun camps for several years and is now a summer coach there himself. I couldn’t ask for a better place to have taken care of him in his youth and showed many great experiences with awesome field trips as well.

My daughter has always enjoyed her time here at both after school care and special events. Kayli is the best!

We love the Yard! Our girls have been coming here since they were tiny for daycare, preschool and after school care. Coaches and staff are great!

Great place for soccer pick up games in Tuesday night open play, Brad in the front desk is always on top of it. Enjoyable place to come back to every week.

We celebrated our son’s birthday party here and the whole experience was excellent! Starting from the process of booking to the actual party, the staff went above and beyond. Nancy did a great job communicating and helping us plan and on the day of, the coaches were stellar and kept the kids active. They also did a wonderful job with the flow of the party. The turf fields were great and there were tons of activities for the kids. This place is a gem!

We’ve been doing mighty tykes for a year. If you have a normal rambunctious boy, stay as far away from classes with coach Sarah as possible. She doesn’t have patience with boys who want to move around, run, laugh and play. She wants them to be soldiers, and calls the 3-4 year old ‘big kids’ who ‘know better’ if they don’t do what she says perfectly. She regularly tells the kids that if she catches them messing around, the one she sees is the one who’s going to ‘get in trouble.’ Seriously you’re telling a 4 year old they are in trouble? You couldn’t think of another way of saying you had a behavior expectation? She has said this to kids including mine right in front of me. She pulls boys (and yes it’s always the boys) and tells them everything they are doing wrong. She makes them sit out for things they apparently did ‘wrong’ but don’t even understand what that is because they are so little. Also because she doesn’t physically demonstrate very much, she gets very irritated if kids don’t follow her instructions to a T. She regularly sends boys to the back of lines because they ran a certain way. But guess what - with a different instructor not one of the kids gets pulled aside, yelled at, berated. I wonder why? Maybe they actually understand normal child development? Maybe they actually run with the kids so they can follow by example as they should at this age? Sarah needs a serious class in normal child development and behavior to be teaching little kids under 5 and most importantly HOW to talk to kids. The weird guttural voice she does is a huge fail. Use that on older kids, not little ones who are still developing language skills. The other teachers we’ve had have been great. Unfortunately we have consistently been stuck with sarah. After a year of giving it our best will not be returning unless we know for sure Sarah is not their coach. Oh and if you need any evidence, I have pictures and videos and am happy to share.
