This place is fantastic for after school events for your kids. Also they do a ski bus, and a mountain biking/wakeboarding program.

Decided to go on an adventure to visit PlateDate with my 3 year old. While he had a good time and the setup was fun for the kids, the place was noticeably filthy. Dust, dirt, and grime everywhere. Stored items behind the safety netting (located under the slides) was visibly just thrown onto shelves and on the ground. The bathroom was just as gross.

It was okay. Main complaint is that all of the advertisements say $10/child for all day play and I arrived at 3:00pm on a random wednesday in early December and was informed that there was "Holiday Pricing" in effect so it would be $18/child. And the kids had already run off in excitement as it was there first time so couldn't exactly leave without dealing with a tantrum. The place itself is fine... but yeah, I didn't love that surprise and the worker didn't have any explanation for the spike pricing.

I am so happy to have found this indoor play place in Seattle! It’s definitely worth the visit. There is much more hidden play you can’t see from the entrance. They have kids and parents covered. Food, snacks, drinks (alcohol too) and even coffee. One minor recommendation, the poor employees need an intercom system (or some Bluetooth voice volume enhancer!) to make their birthday announcements. It’s nearly impossible to hear them with all of the screaming and maze-like play compartments. :) Great job guys!

This is such a great concept to have in a rainy city! I love the idea and my kids (ages 6, 4, 1) had a wonderful time. It’s big enough that they felt as if they were going on a big adventure on their own, but I could see them the whole time.
The only thing that was a bit of a turn off for me is it was dirty. Not just dusty, that too, but also just felt like they needed to do a big deep clean, in addition to a more thorough daily clean. They did appear short staffed, so that may have contributed to the daily mess, but the deeper cleaning needs to be a priority because it felt gross climbing around in the structures. I totally get some food on the ground and things like this, because kids are messy, but this went far beyond that.
See attached photos of some of the spots I snapped while playing with my kiddos.

We've held two birthday parties here - Wunderkind is the best! They entertain the kids, and setup and teardown is pretty easy.

What a fantastic place! The play area is super safe and so fun. It's so much quieter, less chaotic and safer than the children's museum tbh.
Autumn was a highlight, she was so kind and made me feel like a person. Highly recommend stopping here just so she could make your day a little better.
Super adorable and the food was pretty good. 10/10

Hidden gem for parents in winter time. I was there for a birthday party and it is quite awesome. Play area looks small but kept my kid busy for more than 2 hours. Birthday room is small so you can’t have lot of people but service was good. Plus there is cafe inside and for that I am giving an extra star.

We decided to have a fun day in Seattle. We started in downtown Seattle and end up in south lake union. It was an easy 20 min walk to get to play date sea. It was clean, the staff was very helpful. This place is a dream place for both kids and parents.
Your kids will spend so much energy that once they get home, all they will need is a shower and a bed. The parents can sit and watch or accompany the kids in the play area.
This company has food and drinks available. Some kid friendly and some just for adults.
We will definitely come.back!

Friendly staff, great pizza, chicken nuggest seems bit pricey but overall we had fun . It's really convenient to have food & drink while kids play.
There is a separated area for 0-3 yrs. It's dark and small and thankfully wheb we were visiting, we were the only ones there but I can see it can get really crowded in there easily.
We visited as soon as they open so not many kids were there and felt spacious and nice.
Restrooms are clean and they also have a family multi restroom for changing your kids diaper or more.
They seemed to have private rooms for party as well.

This place came up on a search of stuff to do with toddlers, definitely not toddler appropriate. Thankfully my girl is great with small things and stays away from stairs, but she was quickly bored by only having one thing available to do. We'll definitely come back when she's older and able to enjoy the legos more.

They have two stories for Legos. They also serve coffee, beer, wine, and light deli food. They do charge for playing, but it is very minimal.
You can reserve birthday parties at the location for a reasonable price. You can reserve the smaller room on the main floor or the room upstairs. You can also reserve the entire place before or after they close on the weekends.
Staff is friendly, not a lot of parking available but there is street parking as well.

Such a fun place! I love to go and read a book while my kiddo plays with the huge Lego collection. During school breaks there are always great camps and drop in programs going on. Great menu choices and the owner obviously loves what he does.

A real neighborhood treasure! Great place to take the kids for a fun afternoon, particularly on a rainy day. They have a nice selection of food and drinks (for kids and adults alike!). And the kids will be entertained for hours on the two large Lego rooms (the downstairs one for younger kids, there upstairs one for older kids).
They owner, Nick, is a very nice guy and runs a variety of after-school and day-camp programs. They also have good WiFi here, so you can even get work done while they kids play.

We had my son's second birthday here. Highly recommend for parties, such an easy space. all of our guests enjoyed themselves.

This place was was perfect for passing our crappy-weather morning! Plenty of coffee options for the morning, as well as beer and wine for the afternoon. They have some food options as well, including wraps, sandwiches, muffins, and plenty of snacks. None of the food is house made from what I can tell, but we weren't here for the food, we were here to play. The duplo room is perfect for littles, but the upstairs room also has a cordoned off duplo section so if you also have older kids, they can all be in the same room. The other awesome thing is that outside food and drink is allowed, unlike some other play cafes in the area.
