Top Hiking areas in Saugeen Shores, Canada

Very accessible asphalt bike path separated from the road. Waves roll in here even when the water else where seems relatively calm. Beautiful views between Port Elgin and Southampton.

A paved trail that runs along the Lake Huron shoreline between Port Elgin and Southampton. Wonderful views of Lake Huron, including Miramichi and Horseshoe Bays. Definitely recommend!

A really nice paved trail by the water between Southampton and Port Elgin. The trail is right by the water and they have signs tell you how long it is to down town Southampton or how far it is to Port Elgin walking the other way. The direction is marked on the trail as it is a multi use trail.

By far the best trail to run on during the summer. Beach side view, especially right when the sun is setting is beautiful and really makes those 5ks a little easier. The rail also offers changes in elevation to make sure your run is not boring. Also good for biking.
