Top Hiking areas in Schellenberger Forst, Germany

The views are breathtakingly beautiful song this trek. Summer months (June-Aug) the temperatures are usually pleasantly warm (20-24°C) making this a very enjoyable time to trek.

A very easy and comfortable mini trek on top of the Mountain Ridge, simple and straight path along the peaks not a very steep climb.

If you are in Salzburg, make sure you find yourself here. If you have the Salzburg card, entrance is free (so is the bus fare). We took the local bus, it took about 45 minutes, it's the last stop.

The view itself will make it worth while and you'll be glad you came up here. We got here before 10am and we were out in an hour, don't need a lot of time, but make sure you wear your hiking shoes, as the trails are rough and dirt.

The place on your bucket list you didn’t know you needed. Absolutely breathtaking views, you need to be there to feel it.

Awesome view from the top of the untersberg

I went to this place in late December, and tge snowy perspective from up there was amazing. You can see the whole city of Salzburg below you. There was a line to get on the cabin, and we were among the last to board, so it took a bit of time., and if you want the best view, try to be one of the first to get on and sit by the window.

don't forget to Wear good appropriate shoes for hiking and Bring your own food as the restaurant is a bit crowded.

I think there were a lot of people inside the cabin (more than its capacity).
The ticket is a bit pricey, but the view is really worth it. It's a cool experience to see Salzburg from up high.

Beautiful mountain right next to the City of Salzburg. You can either take the cable car or walk to the top on several (more or less difficult) trails. Either way, you‘re going to have a magnificent view of the surrounding. Well worth all year around!

No more words to describe about this beautiful place. Cable car ride to top of the place was a great experience and view you can enjoy at the top is out of words. If you visit Salzburg,never ever miss this place..it's worth than anything. Also if you want to go at the top where there is a cross, please carry hiking related stuffs,else it's difficult to walk on the top.
