Not bad for a quick hike! This trail is more up hill or very steep. It took us an hour walk (return).
It was sunny day when we went there which I recommend bring some water with you as It could be exhausting when you reach the top.

If you feel like getting a sweat up, the walk to Flinders Peak takes about 25mins if you're relatively fit. Steep at times but plenty of stairs to help if that's an issue for you. Stunning view in every direction from the top. Well developed facilities across the park too - picnic tables, toilets, parking and so on.
I only had time for the one trail during this trip but will return to do some of the others in the future.

A nice one hour return hike. Not too hard compared to the East-West trail and makes for a rewarding view at the top.

Summit in YouYangs State Park. The walk from car park to summit is a wide stepped path over 1.2km and is a steady climb. Very rewarding 360 views at the top toward Geelong, Melbourne and the bay, and over farms and the western plains. The park is criss-crossed with walking tracks. Well worth a visit

A step but very interesting 1 hour return walk. Heaps of rocks and interesting formations to look at.
Also there was a poo at the summit and I wasn't sure if it was human or not but my friend stepped in it.

Great hike in the western suburb. Moderate elevation, middle part of the hike has rocks you had to climb. Could be a little risky when it rains. Parked at turntable carpark at 9am. Toilets available at the carpark. Try to get there early as its kind of difficult to find car park. Its dog friendly and takes about 1 hr 30 mins east-west route. Heaps of picnic area and saw a couple of ppl with mountain bikes. Took pictures at east view point, flinders peak and under a rock somewhere around intersection of eastwest walk and saddle back. Hope this info will help you enjoy the You yangs regional park - flinders peak at little River.

We also climbed to the top of Flinders Peak and saw amazing views!!! It was not an overly tiring walk...only took us about 1 hour return and we had to stop a few times for the amazing views!!!! On the top you can see a 360 degree view of the western side of Melbourne...highly recommended for anyone who loves hiking and sightseeing !!! This is the place for that!!!

The view from the top is worth the 1 hour return walk up and down, quite a few steps as advised by the sign but quite an easy walk with plenty of seating if you need a rest.
Towards the top, definitely stop at the Geoglyph lookout.
At the top, on a clear day, you can see for miles with views of Melbourne, the Port Philip Bay and Geelong.
