Beautiful trail with plenty of wildlife. i saw a deer and possibly a crane on my bike ride. the start is a bit uneven ground so it’s a bit bumpy but after a few minutes it goes onto an actual bike trail, it looks out onto the river and it’s covered in trees. i can’t wait for the fall. the colors are going to be gorgeous.
Capital crescent trail provides a harmonious blend of peaceful serenity and ample opportunities for running and biking, making it an ideal destination for both outdoor enthusiasts and those seeking tranquility in nature.

Great for runners, bikers or just for a walk. Trail is not that friendly the first few miles in Bethesda (nor really a trail but within the city center due to new constructions). But towards Georgetown this is quite nice…
This is very convenient if you want about to run 10/12 miles. Too short for a bike run but I suppose this is very nice way to commute to work to DC if you are a Bethesda resident.
Good place for hiking
This is a nice trail for walking or biking. It is very slightly downhill going toward Georgetown but then slightly uphill if you are going to Bethesda
Love this trail ❤️.
I ride my bike here from Rockville to Georgetown.
Sometimes deer 🦌 on trial , or foxes 🦊.!
Nice trail for quick walk.

Great easy hike! About 2 miles round trip.
Main train nice. Secondary trails are not that kept. Roots not marked so watch your footing. Its a short trail but nice
In the DC area, on the Maryland side of the Potomac, not many trails can match CCT. Volunteers have worked with and pushed the county to get good signage, safe passage, and the 100% inclusion of the trail alongside the new Purple Line tracks.

The trail provides tons of access, link between Silver Spring (restoral underway), Bethesda, Potomac River, and Georgetown - including many great neighborhoods in all directions. In normal times, with warmer weather the trail can get crowded. That's when the 15 mph speed limit is enforced with radar for safety.

Being a former rail line, the grades of hills are reasonable. Still a great workout for hikers, runners and cyclists. Enjoy! My family and I do, at all hours year round.
It’s a great biking trail. During certain sections it can get a bit crowded but that doesn’t last long. I’ll definitely be making this one of my go to trails in the DC area.
Cabin John Trail is a wonderful place to hike and mountain bike.
Very nice trail to walk with little ones
It's quite nice trail for hiking, running and bicycling except, too many unleashed dogs there felt dangerous
