Beautiful small structure with a dome. Inside of it, a small science and technology museum has been built in which they showed up old and current invention by Iran, including some models of space shuttles. You can enter by paying a nominal fee but only by card. No cash ticket here.

I wish this was a real telescope so that astronomy enthusiasts could see real and live images of the globes, planets and stars through it.

Well equipped and professional instructors with enthusiasm to explain science in an easy way. The only weakness is the air conditioning of the planetarium hall.
Gonbad mina is a great place and highly recommended if you are interested in astronomy. With its 3D Planetarium, Gonbad mina is an enjoyable as well as educative place to visit. Inspired by Persian architecture, the building and its architecture is very impressive and unique. The 3D cinema is worth a time and ticket are also very cheap, if you plan to go in a weekend (Iranian weekend: Thursday and Friday) maybe it is wise to buy the tickets ahead.

A well done, entertaining, and fun experience. Call ahead of time to make sure the program meets your interest. The exhibits outside the theater need to be a bit more attention grabbing but they were more than I expected. Entrance to the theater need to be more organized and not haphazard.
It could be better by installing more relevant items outside showroom. Unfortunately many items descriptions are only in persian language and foreign tourists could not use it. The showroom is very clean and organized and the 2D and 3D stunning show takes 40 minutes but again only in persian language without any subtitle.
