This was the most unexpected unreal moment for me in this trip, we initially had no plans to visit this place but I don’t know how and why but still i went and maybe when the time is right god puts you in the right place and makes you realise that you cannot plan everything its a just a act of god as she know wt is right for you at this moment.
So trust the path which she has put you on and just keep hustling.

Chamundi Hills, during my visit, this place mesmerized me with its stunning vistas. Ascending the 1,000 steps or driving up, the journey was as exhilarating as the destination. The Chamundeshwari Temple's cultural richness added depth to the experience, offering spiritual serenity. The panoramic views from the summit painted a vivid picture of Mysuru's beauty. While the climb demanded effort, the sense of achievement blended seamlessly with the natural allure.
Chamundi Hills left an indelible mark, making my first visit a harmonious blend of adventure, spirituality, and scenic marvels. An absolute must for those seeking a holistic exploration in Mysuru.

It is a most popular religious place in Mysuru. But when we visited it was crowded didn't get chance to enter inside.Due to poor management for entry will give 3 star.

Must visit place but the entrance process could be more comfortable. Special entrance is for Rs.100 per person still have to wait in queue.

For footwear they provide stands. There is one religious museum around this area. You can visit that as well.
You can shop in local market while around this temple. Little bit costly things are inside the market.
Chamundi Hill is a prominent landmark and tourist attraction in Mysore, Karnataka, India. This hill is famous for the Chamundeshwari temple, dedicated to Goddess Chamundeshwari, an incarnation of the Hindu goddess Durga.

Chamundeshwari Temple is a major pilgrimage site and a place of religious importance that attracts devotees and visitors from all over the world. It offers panoramic views of Mysuru city and is known for its architectural and religious importance.
The Chamundeshwari Temple is a Hindu temple located on the top of Chamundi Hills about 13 km from the palace city of Mysuru in the state of Karnataka in India. The temple was named after Chamundeshwari or, the fierce form of Shakti, a tutelary deity held in reverence for centuries by the Maharaja of Mysuru
Traveling to the hill top and to the bottom of the hill was a happy experience. But the crowd at the temple was hilarious. If you want to peacefully pray without any rush, do avoid during dashehra time. We went during that time, and were crumbled in the crowd even after going in the ₹100 ticket queue. The line to the garbhagriha is small. But until you see the Devi, the struggle is real.
If you are traveling with family, especially infants, or toddlers or even old people avoid public holidays.

Chamundeshwari Temple is a major pilgrimage site and a place of religious importance that attracts devotees and visitors from all over the world. It offers panoramic views of Mysuru city and is known for its architectural and religious importance.
This temple is situated atop the Chamundi hills and it is a 10 mins drive on the hill to reach the temple. The roads are in very good conditions and you will also have some good views on the road as you see Mysore city from the top.The Chamundeshwari Temple is considered as a Shakti Peetha and one among the 18 Shakti Peethas.

The temple is very famous and is quite crowded. The architecture is very good like quadrangular structure as is the case with all the temples in South India. And so you will have to hurry to a glimpse of Chamundi goddess. You can still sit in the temple premises and spend some peaceful moments alone. The tower has 5 levels.

Road to Nandi temple is closed now. Mahisasura statue in the circle is good.

We went on the weekend. so, the crowd was really huge in all counters. We spent a lot of time (close to 1 hr) to darshan EVEN in special queue 😮. That wasn't pleasant though I felt good after the darshan. Better not visit on weekends then you have to spend more time darshan god
The place have a good vibe and atmosphere. There is a place you can go down via steps and then on the left you can find a spot with rocks where you can sit and watch the sunset and the lights in the mysore city at night. You can even see the mysore palace from here.
Chamundi Hills and the Chamundeshwari Temple in Mysore, India, are truly awe-inspiring. The climb up the 1,000 steps is a test of endurance, but the panoramic views of Mysore city are worth it. The temple's intricate architecture and rich history make it a spiritual and cultural gem. Don't miss the giant Nandi statue on the way up! Overall, a must-visit destination for nature lovers and those seeking a spiritual experience. Peaceful place really nice ♥️
Nice place for a visit, i went during rainy Saturday, crowd was very less. There was no queue I went inside directly and saw the goddess. The whole Mysore city can be seen from the top. If your health permits try using the stairs (1000 steps) once for going up and coming down.

It's a good ambient and divine place. You may have to stand a little in queue for enter the temple. But it's worth. You can buy some good craft materials from the Street shops also.

The temple surroundings were calm and tranquil, allowing for a truly spiritual atmosphere. Additionally, the small shops nearby offered affordable rates, making it convenient for visitors. Sri Chamundeshwari Temple is about 13 kms from Mysuru, which is a prominent city in Karnataka State, India. Sri Chamundeshwari Temples is famous not only in India but also abroad. Atop of the hill the famous Sri Chamundeswari Temple. ‘Chamundi’ or ‘Durga’ is the fierce form of ‘Shakti’. She is the slayer of demons, ‘Chanda’ and ‘Munda’ and also ‘Mahishasura’, the buffalo headed monster. Very nice historic hindu temple.
➡️The temple looks really nice.
➡️We have to travel to the temple through hills in ghat road with beautiful views of Mysore city.
➡️Huge paid parking lot available near the temple.
➡️ Don't get scammed by ₹50 and ₹100 rupees photographers near temple. Because the quality they are providing for the photo is worst.
➡️ Beautiful views from the temple.
➡️There are special entries like 30,100 and 300 rupees darshans.
➡️Better visit weekdays because during weekends huge crowd.
The Chamundeshwari Temple is considered as a Shakti Peetha and one among the 18 Maha Shakti Peethas. Located at the top of Chamundi Hills, Chamundeshwari temple is one of most prominent temples in Mysore.

The view here is really beautiful. Visit here after Darshan in chamundeshwari temple. You can come here early morning to see the sunrise and the view of the city afterwards. You need to be very patient to get the clear view as the mountains are covered by mist. Enjoy the breathtaking view.

This is one of the the most famous tourist attraction in Mysore. I have visited this place thrice. This hill is very famous for it's Chamundi Temple on top. The view of Mysore from above is also spectacular. There are many small stalls on top where you can shop or eat. The parking facility is available but gets crowded during the weekends or holidays.

I don't recommend visiting here unless it is for temple visit..didn't enjoy anything other than the drive to the hills. Too crowded.. parking is available.. but ensure parking ticketbis collected after payment.. they will not give if we don't ask and that goes to their pocket...
Awesome Temple the Ghati road is fantastic and the side scenes were very nice
