The price is very cheap. 15k for local, 30k for foreigner. The temple is very clean and neat. The structure of the temple is also very unique, although we are prohibited from entering, for ceremony only. But, there was no guide there, so we felt clueless while strolling around the temple. But I think Taman Ayun Temple is the must visit temple in Bali if you want to get to know Balinese culture better.
Beautiful 17th century temple. Not very crowded when we visited. Tickets 30k for adults. The temple is designed as a mandala with well maintained gardens.

The actual temple which was built in 17th century is inside a wall which can be viewed by tourists from outside.
There is an art gallery, a theatre showing videos abt the king and his legacy and how they renovated the old temple.
The entry fee was 30k, felt bit steep for it.

One of the least touristy temples, great to visit for seeing surroundings too! Surrounded by the river that gives its peaceful and tranquil atmosphere, you'll be immersed by the history and the beauty of the place! There's a cinema room, couple unusual works of art and some stunning architecture!

Will not recommend if you want to go for a sightseeing purpose on a sunny day.

The temple is beautifully constructed with art galleries & a theater which displays the history of the place & the previous king.

However, there are more beautiful temples than this in Bali worth your time if u want pictures or sightseeing.

OH.MY.GOD! This temple is a gem! The architecture is fabulous and the whole complex is so clean and well-kept. The typical Balinese "towers" made a huge impression! Not too crowded, too! 30k adult ticket, 15k kids.
Great temple premises - spacious, green and superbly maintained; slightly out of the way for tourists and hence, not very crowded either.

I only wish the temple premises had more information about the temple itself, its history and the various structures (this is a common grouse for places in Bali; not just here).

Must-visit.
Beautiful, magical, mesmerising. Its worth spending at least 2-3 hours here to immerse yourself in the magical atmosphere of this place. Explore the gardens too.
It's advisable to be there before 11am in case there's fog later. You don't want to have the view obstructed by fog, so get there early. Its also quite a long drive and after 11 we saw lots of queueing (cars and buses) on their way up.
