The temple located in the middle of village , in klaten . It is easy to find and visit. The main temple is beautiful in the middle and the other just ruin part of small temple . Its surounded by the tree. It was so quiet and peaceful when i visited . Please note the schedule of time to visit before you visit there .

State of preservation: The main temple is the best preserved and is still standing up to the foot of the temple body. Secondary temples are mere foundations. Traces of the western gopura of the enclosure are still visible too.
Description:
The compound is formed from one main temple, three secondary shrines and an enclosure wall.
The main temple faces east.
Its exact orientation would be 74° 06’ (Siswoyo 1996: 9).
Its base is 8.40m square, with a projection on the eastern side. The temple body is 5.90m square, with a porch on the east.
Its northern, western and southern sides possessed a deep central niche flanked by two smaller and shallow niches (Perquin 1927b: 156).
A 2.40m long vestibule leads to the cella, which is 2.50m square.
Three secondary shrines face the main temple. They all follow the same pattern: they face west and are roughly 3.40m square, with a projection on the western side.
More or less 5.5m west from the main temple are visible remains of a gopura and an enclosure wall.
Sculptures: On the sides of the staircase leading to the main temple are carved two male figures.
Several free-standing sculptures can still be found on the temple ground: one Durgā
(originally found near the northern side of the temple, Bosch 1926:16), one Ganeśa, one yoni, two bulls, one seated female figure, one male figure seated “à l’européenne”, another seated male figure and one unfinished Ganeśa.

It is a real gem hidden in the middle of the village! Don't worry, it is easy to find this place if you use Google Map. The place is surrounded by trees, so it is rich with fresh air. It's not crowded so you can enjoy the site and take pictures as many as you want to. I suggest you to come in the morning. During pandemic, you have to obey health protocol, so you have to wear your mask, wash your hands at the provided sink or use sanitizer, and limit the visitors. Pura Candi Untoroyono. Sebuah Candi penuh daya magis sejak awal pembuatannya. Menurut Bapak Hardi , salah satu pendiri Pura Untoroyono dan yang merawat hingga kini, ada cahaya biru menuju lokasi tersebut tengah malam. Melalui mimpi- mimpi ada petunjuk untuk mendirikan Pura Candi Untoroyono. Tahun 2003 dengan donatur berbagai pihak mulai dibangun. Pura Candi Untoroyono meski candi Hindu namun hebatnya untuk berdoa lintas agama. Bangunan khas Hindu Bali terlihat nyata. Agung, indah namun terpencil. Untuk menjangkaunya harus melewati jalan setapak , kebun rimbun dan sisi kanan ada makam. Setelah ketemu juru kunci Bapak Hardi baru kami tahu : ada jalan di sisi kiri Pura. Lewat kebun rimbun juga. Serasa masuk ke peradaban masa lalu.

Candi untoroyono yang berlokasi di padukuhan nayan desa kalangan kecamatan pedan kota klaten, merupakan tempat persembahan bagi umat kepercayaan kepada Tuhan Yang Maha Esa, dibangun pada tahun 2003 dan diresmikan pada tahun 2007. Oleh Pandita mpu nabe reka darmika sandhi yasa dari Denpasar Bali.

Candi Merak is a whimsically named temple in a remote part of Yogyakarta province. The name translates as Peacock Temple, apparently based on the legend that a peacock used to roost amongst the ruins. These days it's been restored to its former glory as a Hindu temple. It boosts two especially lovely statues, one of the elephant-headed god Ganesha, another of Durga in the guise of the buffalo slayer.

Karangnongko Temple is founded at 1974 by a farmer, but it's still not rebuild. I hope Indonesian goverment can rebuild this tample soon

Serenity 😌 and the temple still in a good condition. Too bad its sunday and the temple is under maintenance.

Candi Untoroyono adalah tempat persembahyangan namun dikelola oleh warga sekitar sehingga menjadi tempat wisata Yang asri, karena masih di gunakan untuk beribadah maka pengunjung pun harus menaati peraturan dsana dan juga menjaga kebersihan dan keasrian tempat it. Tempat ini tidak ada tickets masuk kita hanya mengisi daftar hadir dan mengisi kas warga seikhlas nya.walau sederhana namun sangat instagramable sekali. Selamat berkunjung kesana...

Nice and quite small Temple. And good maintenance. All the way to get there mostly full of rice fields so it's make it so refreshing

unfortunately when i visited there, the temple was closed, but behind the temple yoi will find ricefields which is absolutely stunning

Not many people know the beauty of this temple, probably because this temple is located in the middle of a fairly quiet settlement. It is still clear in my memory when I was a kid often visited here. At that time Merak Temple is in a broken condition and has not been restored as we know it today. But now the conditions are much different, the area of Merak Temple is arranged very neat and kept clean. Love this place.

Merak Temple or Candi Merak is located at Karangnongko at Klaten city. It is an Hindu temple thas was built on 10 AD by the ancient of kingdom Mataram Hindu era. The main temple has at least 4 statues such as Shiva and Ganesha, named of some gods in Hindus. Today this area has been developed with very nice and well mantained garden. There are several small temple surrounding the main tample is in the progress of reconstruction. The temple is located at the residential area and there is no parking lot. Visitor can park the car on the road nearby the temple's gate.
