Shri Shantadurga Saunsthan is a private temple complex belonging to the Goud Saraswat Brahman Samaj located 30 km from Panaji at the foothill of Kavalem village in Ponda Taluka, Goa, India. Serene place and a must visit if you are in Goa . You cannot wear short and skirts . Quick darshan is possible if you visit during off peak hours . There is a Ganesh temple . There are rooms for deities who wish to stay a for Pooja function . Neat and well maintained temple . 🙏🙏
One of the most clean silent and authentic temples seen in Goa. Three cheers to the management. Avoid wearing shorts and small clothes you won't get entry inside the temple.

Shree Shantadurga Vijayate is a Hindu temple located 30 kms away from Panaji at the foothill of Kavale village in Ponda Taluka, Goa. Shree Shantadurga temple has an impressive idol of Goddess Shree Durga who mediated between Lord Vishnu and Lord Shiva and stopped the fierce full war going on between the two. Temple has been kept open for tourists and it has amenities like a Canteen, Accommodation, and Kalyan Mandap.
As like in the name shantadurga... kalm roop of maa durga temple. Surrounding of trees n forests very peaceful. Along with devi narayan swami temple also there... for lunch dinner n breakfast canteen inside temple providing free tasty meal

Sri Nageshi Maharudra temple & Sri Mangeshi Mahalakshmi temple is the kuladevatha of saraswaths konkans and marathis . These people must come here and offer prayers and seek blessings for the welfare of them and their family members. This temple is serene , divine and full of positive energy. It is an ancient temple with Lord Shiva as the main deity.
A Tourist spot as well as Temple to worship in Goa. It won't take much time to if there is no rush. But, you have to make yourself silent and divine. Not so big temple too. Only a small area.

Its very beautiful temple painted with dark colors. Place is very peaceful and crowd is less. In front of temple they have water tank / lake in which different fishes are available.
Parking place is very small but it was empty when we visited on Saturday. I think many people are not visiting this place. Its hardly 15 mins away from Mangeshi temple.

Nice temple to visit with family in Goa. Nice ambiance. We enjoyed the place with our family. Lord Pooja are done. They have a canteen which senates decent food at good costs.
It’s a well made and ancestral temple of many Konkani clans living in Goa and adjacent places. Little pool in front where one can take bath and take a dip during the day. Loved my visit here

One of the most peaceful places to visit in Goa. Absolutely serene, this temple of Shri Nagesh is one of the avatars of Shiv ji
One of my favourite temples in Goa. Very well maintained and the location is quiet and peaceful. The best part is the temple lake surrounded by supari trees. As a kid I remember coming here to swim in the lake. But now it is locked. The temple is usually less crowded so you can spend some peaceful time here.
