Feeling devotional
Mobile, watch or any other electronic things are not allowed. If you have they kept those things until you come back.
You must visit Akshardham temple, A house of worship constructed by BAPS organization while being in Gandhinagar. It is a architectural marvel constructed in 90s. The exhibition and water show is very beautiful depicting the life of lord Swaminarayana.

Beautiful experience. The entire journey at the painting and musieum gallery is awesome. Top notch security and other facilities that were hassle free. A souvenir shop adds to the touch. Photography is strictly not allowed inside.
The place is a good place to visit but i would suggest to visit in the evening time because I went in the afternoon and it was very hot. Although the inner movie and other museums places were cool and the journey of Neelkanth was shown in great way. Loved the place and person should visit if they are interested in the architecture. The famous Khichdi was also very tasty and worth eating.
The photographer there is simply an uncouth person. He is very rude and even threatens customers. I visited with my family on 29 October 2023. We paid Rs. 100 to have our photo clicked. The person sitting at the counter asked us to come and take after 30 mins. When I went there with the receipt, the person kept postponing the time. When I asked, he simply threw Rs. 100 at me and said "nahin ho paayega". I think , such a creep may be having illicit intentions of mis-utilising customer pics after clicking them. Such misbehaving creeps are indeed blots on the name of such a reputed place of worship. Gandhinagar police should surely look into it.

Kindly visit around 5 or 6 in the evening as the water show timing is 7:30 so you don't have to wait too long.

We have to deposit the mobile phone smart watches at the deposit centres. No charges are taken by them.

Huge temple of Lord Swaminarayan and his disciples, museum, light show, nicely maintained garden, clean, electronic goods such as camera, mobile, digital watches, earphones, not allowed inside.
Painting, exhibits are displayed nicely.
Needs to improve air ventilation, less fresh air in basement museum. Worth visiting, must give time to see fully. Cannot share photos as we were not allowed to take photos.
Manpower waste, sitting idle on chairs inside museum, carving n golden effect is very nice.

Very neatly maintained premises. Divine. You can carry small bags. Big bags and phones have to be deposited at the locker. Restaurant food is too good. Cleanliness at the restaurant is absolutely amazing. Can spend a couple of hours at BAPS. Didn't wait to watch the laser show.

By inserting coin in box , we.can can do Abhishek on the shivji statue automatically. So children are very happy to see this.

The place is well maintained and properly secured. If you are visiting first time you should note down a few things-
- You have to deposit your phones, smart watches, cameras before entering.
- You can also deposit your bags and helmets as they are not allowed inside.
- Only one person on a bike/car allowed inside the parking
- You can get a photo clicked in front of temple from inside and they would print it for you and provide a nice cover for them and the time taken for this process is 30 minutes and the cost per photo is ₹100
- If you are there during evening, do not miss the laser show as it is really good

Good option for a weekend. The temple and it's ambience is indeed worth watching. No phones and luggages are allowed inside,they are to be kept in a clock room which is available for the same.

Divine Place
The behavior of baps volenters is so rude when i visit ravi sabha...Along with a friend of mine, the baps volenter here are enmity worri with the old practice.. I will never set foot in this temple. Volunteers of Baps first need to follow the orders given by Swaminarayan Bhagwan...If baps want to save Swaminarayan sampraday, then improve your volunters quality...

From far off, the temple complex has the appearance of five towers, but only three of those belong to the main temple, with two belong to subsidiary temples, flanking the main temple. The temple also has several shrines to Hindu deities, one of which is to Swaminarayan.

It's awesome and peaceful. There are many things to watch. Garden is very nice. There are different rides for kids and adults. You can get adventure experience in some rides. There is laser show at night. The laser show is fantastic. Also you can try best food here. Food quality is very nice. This place is clean. Divine. Best place near Ahmedabad to visit as a picnic. You can visit this place with friends and family. For children, it is perfect place to visit.

Here you will get a lunch at free of cost with no limit to eat. A nice place.
Nice temple of Lord Swaminarayan in Pethapur, it is work under Kalupur Mandir Ahmedabad. It is holly Temple, where we feel seren atmosphere, which attracts more and more people to pray and worship God Swaminarayan. Here some saints who ready to serve knowledge of Lord Ganshyam and give knowledge about Swaminarayan Spraday. Very beautiful temple,well organised must visit during sarvana month to see hindola. Playground for children,nice sitting arrangement. Lodging also available for functions and marriages. Lord Ganesh& shiva is also worshipped. Nice community feelings. Parking facilities. Cooked and dry fasting food available.
