We held a celebration of life for a family member in the Billy Frank Jr. room at the Ecotrust Building and the venue was excellent. Heather Sparks was our liaison/coordinator for the event, and she was fantastic to work with, no detail overlooked and very supporting and helpful. We utilized Elephant's Delicatessen for the catering, and they were amazing as well. I would highly recommend the Ecotrust building and Heather for any type of event!
Tendue is such a stunning venue, and I love working out of this space! Beautiful setting that elicits creativity and inspiration. The team is a dream to work with as well when booking all details!
We had such an amazing experience hosting my bridal shower at Tendue. The staff is so helpful and responsive. The space is so charming and all of my guests could not stop raving about how much they loved it. We will be back! Thank you Tendue for the bridal shower of my dreams!

Went to a wine pickup event. Had small tastes some snacks and picked up our shipment. Much more fun than having it delivered to he picked up from where it gets sent to here.
Tendue is a wonderful space to have any event and me and my husband loved having our small wedding here back in February. Tristan was very awesome and welcoming from the beginning of our tour and to the day of our wedding to make sure everything was ready for us and detailed information to have when our wedding was over if anything needed he was a call away. We would most definitely recommend to anyone to have a small event here.... Thank you so much!
I recently hosted my sister’s baby shower here and it was the most gorgeous venue. Tristan helped us every step of the way and was extremely accommodating and responsive. I looked a lot of event spaces and the price and value of what Tendue offers is unmatched. I would absolutely recommend this spot for anyone hosting a small event or party in Portland.
Beautiful space!! Threw a baby shower for my little sister here in March. The host was very responsive and easy to work with, we were able to schedule a tour before our party which I would highly recommend. The venue is located in the Ford building, and finding the room for the first time was a little challenging so it was great to be able to familiarize yourself with the location before your event. The space itself is bright and spacious, with tall ceilings and huge windows. Really awesome decor and we were able to personalize it to fit our theme. Highly recommend!

My partner and I got married on October 7th and we couldn’t have asked for a better venue to host our big day. We had a lot of things we wanted in a venue (indoor/outdoor space, contingency plans for weather, ADA accessible, etc.), and we found that Ecotrust has a lot of flexibility built into their set-up that met everything we were looking for. They also have excellent full-service catering partners, and that partnership really made the whole day run smoothly. We got lucky with a sunny fall day so we got to host the ceremony on the roof, but even the inside reception spaces were a beautiful backdrop.
We worked with Heather Sparks and she was beyond fantastic! Planning a wedding can be overwhelming and she knows that, but she’s such a clear communicator and was a helpful guide to us as we made some big decisions. She was a big part of the success of our day and we feel lucky that we got to work with her.

We are so happy that we chose Lakeside Gardens for our special day. It was the perfect spot for us. We really enjoyed working with Noel (our wedding planner/coordinator) and appreciate all her efforts and answering to our multiple requests and calls to make this day so special for us.

Parking was a chore. The neighborhood is unpleasant and industrial. There were many unsightly RV homes parked near the venue.
I am not sure how safe this neighborhood is at night.

Held one of our annual fundraisers here. Lovely space and great staff.
My husband and I got married here a few weeks ago. It was a total dream come true. Noel took care of all the details and there was absolutely nothing for me to worry about, except having a great time. The food was delicious, the grounds are beautiful, the suggested vendors were amazing. The photographer didn't mind that my uncle, also a professional photographer, brought his own camera and took pictures. The DJ had a wonderful energy, we played Lord of the Rings music for our processional. Noel kept everything flowing nicely. Any questions that we had were promptly answered. Every guest that I talked to had a wonderful time and complimented the venue/food/ceremony. I am very glad we chose this venue. I had the wedding of my dreams to the man of my dreams.
We just had our wedding at Lakeside Gardens and it was an incredible experience! Taylor was so helpful in planning and prepping along the way and was always very quick to respond to any questions. The day of execution was perfect and the venue is so beautiful!! Lakeside Gardens made our day so special, I would highly recommend!
Beautiful historic downtown building. Beautiful and super elegant high class. My niece had her quince there. Breathtaking and we burned up the dance floor. The waiters and staff were very nice and polite coming around many times to see if we needed anything else they catered to us and asked us if we wanted another plate. They brought appetizers to the table and commented on how beautiful my evening gown and my husbands matching suit. A $48,000 party was more than I expected.
We had our Summer 2023 wedding here and it was so great! Taylor was our day of coordinator and she was a dream to work with. She answered all of our questions so professionally and thoroughly without making us feel dumb, and made us feel encouraged to ask more. Always had email replies from her or Noel within 24 hours. On the day of she was very calm and facilitated the vendors well. If she was stressed out I had no idea. The venue is naturally beautiful, so minimal decorations were needed. Very good landscaping, even during their off season the garden was well kept. Their catering was actually really delicious, and the bartender made great drinks and didn’t skimp out on the alcohol.

Lakeside Gardens was a wonderful venue for our July 2023 wedding. They were exceptional to work with and made our day one to remember. We chose this venue because of the beautiful grounds, exceptional communication with the staff, and the inclusiveness of options that they provide. I never felt overwhelmed during the planning process thanks to Taylor, our day of coordinator. Our guests raved about the venue and loved the swan. I highly recommend Lakeside Gardens for your future venue needs.
The perfect place to have our wedding! The grounds are so beautiful, dreamy, and well-kept! Noel the wedding coordinator made the process seamless and stress-free for wedding planning. The venue is basically a one-stop wedding shop and has everything you need to make you special day magical. Can't wait to get our pictures back from our photographer and relive the experience with all our loved ones :)

We had our Mothers celebration of Life at lakeside Gardens this last Sunday. I could not ask for anything to have been more perfect. Taylor and her staff were fantastic and friendly. Taylor helped us every step of the way and made this smooth and stress free. Their catering does all the food. It was really delicious and we had quite a variety of items to choose from. It is so beautiful once you get inside the gate! Thank You lakeside and Taylor for an incredible day honoring my mom!

My daughter had her prom here she said she had alot of fun but that it was super loud. They did serve snacks for the kids and they had someone at the door making sure the kids were safe. I'm not sure if that was the school she goes to our the Tiffany center. It is located in downtown Portland Oregon and when I went to drop her off there was a homeless camp right across the street. Given the choice I wouldn't have picked the area but I didn't want to ruin my daughters prom so I let her go with an escort to and from the building. I'm glad she got to go but I'm biased about downtown as I refuse to go there most times and I don't believe it's safe.
I had a wonderful time at the Science Talk conference at the Tiffany center. The building was beautiful and classy, chairs were comfortable, lighting was good, bathrooms were clean, elevators were functional. The heavy wooden doors to the main ballroom upstairs slammed shut loudly and had no handle on the outside, making them hard to open. The podium on the stage was large and boxy, making it hard to see the speakers.

I’ve had the pleasure of working many events at Ecotrust, and it’s always been an absolute pleasure. From the moment I arrive, the staff is friendly and welcoming, making sure that I have everything I need to make the event a success.
The venue itself is stunning. The decor is elegant and sophisticated, creating the perfect backdrop for a wedding. The rooftop patio is also excellent, adding to the overall atmosphere of the event.
In terms of functionality, the venue is top-notch. The Irving Studio space is huge, and affords plenty of room for a cocktail and dinner area.

Absolute gorgeous space! We rented the space and dishes for our winery’s release party. It is perfect. Our members and their guests gushed over how lovely the space is. Tendue provided a comfortable and welcoming space for our members and I couldn’t be happier. We will definitely be using the space again. Special thanks to Tristan for being a gracious host.

As the owner of Your Perfect Bridesmaid I have worked with Vibrant Table for 15+ years. They have always exceeded every expectation. So when I was looking for a host location for The Venue Crawl, I knew the Exchange Ballroom would be absolutely perfect. When you choose the Exchange Ballroom you know you are getting a few things 1. Incredible customer service (start to finish). 2. Endless creativity. 3. Gorgeous and flexible event space with amazing amenities like a parking lot, getting ready suites that are beautifully designed and full handicap accessibility. 4. Out of this world catering through Vibrant Table. If you are looking for a venue for your next event look no further. The Exchange Ballroom is perfect in every way!

After touring several different venues for our June 2022 wedding, we ended up at Lakeside Gardens. It was one I had found online, and it ended up being the right choice for my bride and I. From the coordinator, Taylor, to our last minute changes, to accommodating our 70 guests and support staff, to the catered tabled dinner; the preceding rehearsal dinner; the two night stay on the unique and valuable honeymoon suite, the entire experience couldn't have been better. Words cannot convey, what a wonderful experience this was; and the number of compliments we've received from guests really tells the overall story. Unequivocally, the wedding wouldn't have been the same without choosing Lakeside Gardens, and having such fantastic in-house support team.

This place is absolutely beautiful and so accommodating. I held a bridal shower there for my best friend. With the help of her family. The space is absolutely gorgeous on its own. Easy to set up and load up with the help of their incredible staff. They were always available by phone. It was clean, well decorated on its own in nude tones foe all kinds of events. They were very helpful and let us do our thing. We had a Kentucky Derby themed shower that went perfectly. Lots of photos with everyone commenting how amazing it truly was and well done. The bride and all guest loved the space, theme and how.it was set up. We had an amazing time and absolutely plan on coming back and telling everyone. I couldn't recommend a better venue for this type of event. Thank you so much Tendue for everything!

Beautiful setup, very versatile space. Built in sound system and lighting are currently inoperable. No communication of this crucial information to the hostess or DJ until after event was already under way. Owner disclosed that the sound guy that's usually there just hooks up an iPod to some little speakers. 😕 Hostess was also told to shut down her party early because if she wanted to use the venue later than 10pm she was supposed to have told the owner 24 hours in advance. I imagine it could be an amazing place to work with and enjoy events if under better management in the future.
I had my small wedding here in October of 2020. In the midst of all the regulations and setbacks, the staff at Ecotrust were so helpful, flexible and easy to work with. We used their rooftop for the ceremony and the Billy Frank Jr Room for the reception, both beautiful spaces. I especially loved the rooftop which has an urban, yet cozy and intimate feel. Highly recommend!
We had our wedding rehearsal dinner this past Thursday and we loved everything about the venue. Working with Natalia and Ashley is awesome and we received so many compliments from guest how beautiful the space is!
I rented Tendue for my bridal shower. It was absolutely gorgeous and Tristan was an absolute pleasure to work with. They helped set up the furniture that I wanted in the room and handled guiding the caterer in with the food and drinks. They had great communication as I had a few questions beforehand. Parking and all the tid-bits of information needed were also communicated in a timely manner. You won’t regret having an event here!
Such a beautiful venue! From the first time I visited the Lakeside Gardens I fell in love. This was one of the best places I ever performed live music for a wedding. Great group of people working here. Everyone was very helpful and kind!

Cons: Hosting both ceremony and reception while possible is tricky, expect an hour in the lobby while the space is flipped, if you have over 100 guests I think you’d feel so cramped, windows expose you to the street (no privacy)
This space is definitely tiny. I recommend seeing it in person before signing any contracts even if they pressure you to sign because someone else wants your date. Or at least walk by to get a glimpse of the space. I tried so many times to make an appointment to see the space but they are really busy. Once we saw the space we realized it wasn’t possible for our 125 person wedding unless we wanted to be super cramped. No longer going with venue.
Another thing to note is once the contract is signed Natalia is no longer a point of contact and all questions had to be directed to Ashley with Pearl catering who manages their space. I was beyond frustrated at their lack of teamwork, instead of being able to ask either person I was constantly being redirected back and forth. I also was told flipping the space from ceremony to reception would take only half n hour but it can be upwards of hour. Your guests would wait in the reception area which is really just a lobby and isn’t that large. I cannot fathom how 130 guests could fit and they can if they are sardines. I’m sure this space is really lovely for a wedding but make sure your guest count is small or go else where. Also be prepared to only communicate on email, it was hard to reach anyone by phone. I had the privilege of working at Urban Studio on a styled shoot earlier this year and WOW -- this space is immaculately clean, and has a chic city vibe to it. You're right in the heart of NW Portland, within walking distance of several parking options and fun places to eat (if you're not taking advantage of the ever-fabulous Pearl Catering, of course), and you're guaranteed to have an amazing event at this stylish space.
Urban Studio provides all of its events with an excellent canvas to bring to life however they see fit. I cannot wait to work there again -- the possibilities are endless!

We had our 1st meditation at the Regents Center there last night. The hall is lovely, very peaceful & comfortable.
I went there for a wedding crawl, and they are the only ones that made me feel it was a wedding brawl. They were so cheap on their catering options. It was a bad experience.

The Loft at 8th was the perfect venue for our August wedding! We loved having the flexibility of an indoor/outdoor space and the location was perfect (easy parking, etc.). Coordinating with The Loft before the wedding was always easy – quick to respond to emails and provide thoughtful, clear answers.
The only hiccup we had was with the event insurance – The Loft requires a specific type of insurance coverage that our wedding planner had never heard of before. None of the large insurance companies (i.e. State Farm) would provide the coverage so we needed to use the insurance provided by VT, which ended up pushing our budget a couple hundred dollars higher than expected.
Otherwise, our wedding day was perfect – everyone was incredibly helpful and flexible. We even had a bridesmaid leave something at the venue Saturday night – when we went Sunday morning, one of the owners of VT happened to be there and he was gracious in letting us into the venue to find the item. Definitely sets the tone of customer service for his company! Thank you VT and The Loft, for helping make our wedding such a great day!

Great event venue. You have a blank slate on which to work: two moderate size rooms with a bar between and a smaller loft area. Can be set for casual conversation, dining, and/or dancing Easily reconfigured as the event progresses. Access is good but allow for in city parking.
Attended a Gala Fundraiser for Profile Theater on Friday evening (as a volunteer & a guest) in the newly opened Irving Street event space. The space is amazing and I throughly enjoyed myself (even though I was volunteering my time & energy) and I highly recommend this location for any nonprofit (or any organization for that matter). The room is great and there was plenty of room for our catering staff and our 140+ guests. Located on the NS Street Car line, there is also plenty of street parking. Ecotrust is a great company to work with!
Attended a Artist Repertory Theater Gala Fundraiser recently and had a great time. The venue worked well for 240+ guests (including the tented area) for a sit down dinner event. Plenty of kitchen area for the catering staff and the enormous bar and the bathrooms were clean. We volunteer for ART and helped set up the venue earlier in the day and the venue was very accessible and the onsite staff very helpful and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this place for a similar event.

I attended the Harry Potter Yule Ball a few weeks ago and had a great time! The venue is beautiful and the party was great. The Emerald Ballroom is the best!

Went to an event here. If I had an event to plan, I would look into this site. Food needs to be catered, but you don't seem to be restricted on what caterer you use. Limited parking is included with rental fee.

We love working at Urban Studio. From a vendor perspective they have an easy load in area versus many other event spaces in downtown Portland. The space is very modern and clean and open to various styles of events and decor options. The food is exquisite and the service is always prompt and professional.

The Portland Lindy Exchange is anually held here. It is a great classy spot. The dance floor is big and in a great shape for dancing. There are seats around the dance floor and a second floor with seats as well. The stage has great acustics. Overall, it is an awesome place.
This venue was perfect for our company party - it is a large, clean, trendy space with an awesome view of the west side and the infamous "Portland Oregon" sign. We had about 270 people at our event and the space seemed to fit us pretty comfortably, with a combination of large dinner tables, smaller standing cocktail tables and standing space. We didn't have a DJ but there is an elevated DJ area that would make this spot ideal for a wedding reception. With 270 people and music it was pretty loud, since the space is essentially a converted industrial type room, and many of our guests complained it was difficult to have conversations once the room was filled. Overall it was beautiful and the staff of the catering comany (must use Vibrant Table) was helpful and friendly. We got a good price because we had our party on a Friday night and I believe the space is a fairly new renovation... I suspect a summer wedding event would be of a competitive price with other trendy Portland venues.
We held our annual Holiday Party at Urban Studio and it was absolutely beautiful. Kelly, our coordinator made the experience enjoyable, from booking the event, to tasting the food, picking out the decor, setting up for us and taking care of us every step of the way. It far exceeded my expectations, and I haven't even mentioned the food yet. Our staff couldn't stop raving about how delicious the food was; Meat so tender you could cut it with your fork and unyielding cheesy potatoes, Yum! Impeccable. Definitely a tremendous experience from start to finish. Thank you Kelly, Pearl Catering, and Urban Studio.

I always know when I'm working with Vibrant Table I'm in good hands and was thrilled to try out a new space for our event. I heard nothing but excellent feedback from some of our top donors and leadership and was beyond pleased with the results. Not to mention, how great is free onsite parking?!? I held our company's annual holiday party here last weekend, and it was a complete success! We choose a new venue every year, and people raved about this one. For a group of about 325 people it was perfect - small enough to feel intimate but not crowded, and not so big as to feel cavernous. The ballroom itself is very tasteful but still neutral, so you can decorate (or not) to your heart's content and it will look lovely. Great sound system. The staff were a pleasure to work too! We also rented the rooftop deck (lucky us, we had a clear night!), which our guests loved. It's a great option to catch some fresh air and enjoy the view of the downtown skyline.
If you are planning an event, you must have it at Urban Studio. We had our wedding reception here and it was by far the best venue I have ever come across. Not only did they do a fantastic job organizing every single detail, but they walked through each item of the event so we knew exactly what we were paying for and how the event would be set up. The staff was amazing and the coordinator Annette was by far the most amazing person to work with. She made my day feel as special as if it was her day! Jason helped the day of and even in the middle of a snowstorm made it the most memorable day ever. The event is so classy and beautiful inside. The lighting, furniture, and set up made for enough space for talking, dancing, and eating, in addition to beautiful photos! The catering by Pearl Catering was off the charts good. We had a lot of crazy foodies at the reception that would not stop talking about how incredible the food was. It came out hot, on time, and delicious. The presentation alone was to die for. The bartenders and servers went over and beyond to make sure everyone was taken care of, even if it wasn't there exact job. I had no stress or worries on my wedding day thanks to Urban Studio and Pearl Catering. I will use them again in the future and highly recommend you do the same. What professionals! Thank you!
