The Alexandria at Torrey Pines was the perfect venue for the 2024 Feed Real Summit. This was my first year attending, and the location truly enhanced the entire experience! The space was beautifully decorated and created such a welcoming, professional atmosphere.
The chairs in the lecture hall were incredibly comfortable—even after sitting for nearly 5 hours straight, I didn’t feel a hint of discomfort, which is a big win in my book! The sound quality was excellent, and the intimate setup made it easy to hear everything, even without microphones. It’s a top-notch location for events, and I’m looking forward to attending next year’s summit here as well! If you’re ever considering hosting a conference or event, I highly recommend The Alexandria at Torrey Pines.

Amazing venue. Went to a private party. I don't know where to start. Service, food, set up, bartenders, valet parking and the decore was perfect. Highly recommend this location. I will go back for regular restaurant hours.
Very nice place to dine outside. Live music. Recently changed ownership and, possibly by chance, did not enjoy our meal as much this time.
i dropped my phone inside of the booth 💔and they took 20 minutes to help me get it out and they weren't even rude about it 😭 THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!!!
I was part of the band for an evening of Contra Dance, English Country Dance and a couple waltzes. The main room is big enough that we could have had a hundred dancers or more. It has a great floor for dancing.
Solid coffee, limited frou-frou drinks but tasty coffee, very solid espresso and latte's. Pastries are very good, staff is always friendly and fast
For a tasty cheap breakfast in a funky second hand store, this is the perfect place. Down home folks and food. Doesn’t get any better.

An amazing building with event space, trendy restaurant with indoor& outdoor seating, beautiful lobby, a gym with full court basketball, cycling studio and yoga room.

This is a great event venue. The staff are easy to work with, plenty of parking and several options for events of any size.

We went there for brunch on Father's day. The food was excellent and the service was tip top. There is a large area to run around & it is relaxing. Definitely recommend this restaurant. We plan on going back.
Great central location in San Diego, to enjoy special events. Ample free parking, public restrooms nearby, venue called the Santa Fe room is spacious, clean, rustic environment vibe. Park maintenance staff setup and clean up. There friendly and attentive. Great location in Balboa Park.
Great ambiance, tasty cocktails and amazing apps. I just wanna see some more additions to the small menu because the food was tasty! Also, the bowl couldn't been a bit more full. I was left feeling hungry after leaving.
Very large wood floor event venue operated by the City of San Diego. Needs a better sound system, lighting, and projection screens.Nice atrium area with fountain and WPA style mural. California room to the side is great for small weddings and decorates well.
Biggest dance floor I've ever seen for social dancing! We had sooo much fun at the Viennese Waltz Ball and have also attended another dance here too. Plenty of parking, bathrooms are clean and well supplied and ventilation is good in the dance room with high ceilings and real windows that open to let in the breezes. There's an interesting art deco mural as you enter and a dry fountain we used for wet umbrellas.
Historic and beautiful. A person or organization must go through the bureaucracy of the Parks and Recreation Department in order to use this wonderful facility. The front doors open onto a Lobby and a large reception area which that opens into the Grand Ballroom. Exquisite wood floors and raised platform can be used for a variety of occasions.
I love the dance classes. Balboa Park Club Dancers offer ballroom dance classes. Friday and Sunday evenings - 6:45pm general dancing, classes start 7:30 Fri. and 7:00 pm Sun. 3 levels are offerd with 2 styles a month. If you stay with you can learn all ballroom dances in one year and the price is reasonable! Give it a try! It is work but worth it! 👍😉
Gorgeous giant hardwood sprung ballroom dance floor, great light, high ceiling. Filled with folk dancers the day I was there in February for the big International Dance Association dance festival.
The Balboa Park Club is in an old historic building built for the 1915 Panama-California Exposition. Constructed to house the State of New Mexico's exhibits. New Mexico House was later enlarged and refurbished, to accommodate the 1935 California Pacific International Exposition. Painter Belle Baraceneau and Sculptor Frederick Schweigardt designed and built a stunning fountain and mural which adorn the building's grand foyer. We have attended a number of festivities at the former New Mexico House along with several weddings.
