nice church
Great staff and service and location was great. Missed out on a star as the bathroom was freezing. I tried to turn the knob on the radiator but it hardly moved. Had I been staying for longer than one night I would have brought it to the hotel’s attention at the time.
A good, medium sized nice hotel in a very convenient location. The room is clean, equipped with tea/coffee hotpot/machine and a refregerator. My room was even with an unexpected bath tub that is good for a Japanese. The lobby is brilliant. There are a lot of restaurants, shops around the hotel. I did not take a breakfast in the hotel, but there is a nice bakery shop near the hotel and it was just O.K. to get sandwitches and croissants for my breakfast. People in the hotel are all friendly and nice.
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Park Centraal Den Haag. The room I received is thoughtfully designed with plenty of space in the closet for organizing own items. The hospitality of the Front Desk is second to none. My special thanks goes to Alicia for her warm and open welcoming. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel when visiting Den Haag.
Great location. Got a single room on the courtyard side. The room was very quiet and exactly the size it should be - not too big, not too small. The staff was very nice. One star off because the desk was dusty and the shower head was so low that the top of my head almost touched the showerhead and almost had to balance on the curved end of the bath tub to get my whole body under the shower - and I’m only 173cm! The showerhead was not detachable so not sure how someone 180cm+ could wash their hair in the shower except my bathing or crouching.
The hotel is perfectly situated for all the main sites of Den Haag and for the tram.
The staff are unremittingly friendly and helpful.
The breakfast is delicious and well worth the cost.
My room was quite small - but for just two nights was absolutely fine. It was clean and well serviced.

Classy and nicely furnished room, room service was everyday perfect. It smells relaxing and like tangerine green tea everywhere. The location of the hotel is quiet but central, great for a city trip. The room was equipped with everything needed. There was even a small fridge and plenty of space (for luggage), a large wardrobe in the hallway, large shower, air conditioning (I didn't need it). Unfortunately the bed was a bit hard and the ventilation made a noticeable noise.

Google has incorrect times. It is open on Saturday
Nice hotel in the center of Den Haag. Very well connected to the transportation. The rooms are nice. The bathrooms could need more storage space and (as in most hotels) the shower solution is not perfect (read: the water is everywhere). On the other hand the rooms are equipped with irons. ^^ The breakfast was tasty, however not really rich. The coffee was good and access to fresh (flavoured) water at the reception was simply a benefit.

It was a nice hotel with a good location but it was nothing special. We were in room 115 which was a quite disappointing room. We had to walk down a very steep set of stairs to get to it, making it not very accessible. It was also very awkward to go down these stairs with our luggage and actually quite dangerous due to how small and steep the steps were.

The room itself was ok. The view was into other rooms and apartments which was quite annoying as we constantly had to have the curtains pulled, making it dark all the time. The cleanliness wasn’t very good. There was a lot of dust all over the room showing it hadn’t been properly cleaned before we came. There was also makeup on 2 of our towels. We also both left with multiple bites all over our legs seemingly from the bed.

The walls were paper thin resulting in us being woken up multiple times by the people in the room next to us.

They also took a €150 deposit upon arrival which was a lot for a deposit and also no mention of this when booking.

Overall we wouldn’t stay here again due to the room and above issues but the hotel itself (lobby etc.) was nice and it was a good location but those were just about the only pros.

Old church mainly used by elite families. The guide told that there is cemetery of famous physicist Daniel Gabriel Fahrenheit who invented the Fahrenheit temparature scale

Googled for English church near me but found the Good Friday service entirely in Dutch. The choir was wonderful though. They sang in Latin. A good start to the Easter weekend.

The Kloosterkerk is one of the emblematic buildings in The Hague and is a must see. This church is a protestant community that worships here each Sunday. The community is also involved in artistic initiatives, periodically offering photo and art exhibitions. They also hold choir and organ concerts. The multi-church mid week service takes place here every first and third Wednesday at 12:45. Music is played by church musicians or other invitees during the lunch pause moment. The church is open to the public on Monumenten Dag and they offer interesting activities such as learning Gregorian chant techniques. Worth a visit even if only to admire the vaulted ceiling and the stained glass windows with the twelve apostles.

Beautiful old building with a friendly congregation. Make sure to check the calendar for Sunday services with live music.
