I was here with whiskeys of the world. The staff was kind. The venue was beautiful. Even with a lot of vendors loading in and out, the loading dock was not too hard to use.
We got married a couple months ago at Deity. We truly had an amazing experience. Everything went very smoothly from the beginning, the pricing was very transparent and it was clear that Anna and the staff ran a tight ship--its obvious that they know what they're doing and that your day will be organized and run on schedule. We went for a tasting which was super fun (and so much food!); the chef changed between tasting and the wedding but the food on the day of was even better! All of our outside vendors were from Deity's recommended list, it's a great place to start if you don't really know anyone ahead of time.

On the big day, I had I think 12 people with 4 makeup/hair artists getting ready with me, and we all enjoyed the suite and rooftop. My partner and the best man joined us later. It was great and very relaxing to know that we didn't have to travel anywhere, just head on downstairs when it was time. Our photographer even told me I was the most relaxed bride she'd ever seen! Prior to the ceremony, the Deity staff made announcements in English AND in Spanish (my partner's family/friends are Spanish speakers) which was really great and felt very inclusive. Everything during the ceremony was seamless, the quick rehearsal made us look like we'd done this before. (We hadn't!)

Cocktail hour was super fun, we opted not to go upstairs for a private moment and some hors d'oeuvres by ourselves because we were having such a good time with our guests but having that option was great. I was moving around too much to actually try all of the passed apps but hey that's life!! All the food at dinner was great, I was a little hesitant about family style but it looked like plenty of food on the tables and when we walked out, there was still a bit leftover so everyone seemed to have eaten their fill! Vegetarians and kids were well taken care of. Also the space is really beautiful for dinner, it felt intimate, we had about 110 people. Deity easily accommodated my last minute (mid-cocktail hour!) table change which was really really great.

For the dessert/dancing part of the night, we had an absolute ball! Our DJ (CEO) had almost everyone, particularly my dad, dancing the entire time. We have great photos of our guests dancing and drinking. Anna and the staff arranged our desserts (mini Italian pastries and a small cake from Monteleone!) so beautifully. Its also great that the Lounge is open during dancing for people who want a bit of quiet, I took a little break up there at one point.

I had been a little worried about the stairs, we had a couple folks with bad knees but no one over 70, and it was fine. The additional bar tab after the credit was a bit more than we'd expected although we still paid less than the charge for an open bar. The service charge being included was really nice, on all the wedding advice sites people are always agonizing about who and how much to tip and I didn't have to worry about that at all. I would definitely get married at Deity again!!!
Deity was the highlight of our wedding! We booked it immediately after touring and meeting Caio, and it was one of the best decisions we made. Caio was so kind and knowledgeable, and it was clear that he really cares about what he does and wants to make your wedding day as great as possible.

To start, the team at Deity makes the whole wedding planning process enjoyable. This venue provides so much, which makes the process of choosing vendors way less stressful. It’s so affordable for all you get. Catering, some decor, and a DJ are all included in the price. The best inclusion was our wedding coordinator, Anna. She made the process so easy and was one of the best people to have around on our wedding day. She was our main point of contact leading up to the wedding, and she answered all of our questions and gave amazing suggestions. Anna is the main reason the planning process was enjoyable. There was a moment right before our ceremony where the bridal suite was a pretty hectic with people, and Anna suggested we move everyone downstairs to take 10 minutes to ourselves before we really start the night. It was such a great suggestion, and we really needed those 10 minutes. We also got 15 minutes to ourselves during cocktail hour to sit and eat all the apps we picked. These little moments ended up being so special and helped us slow down to take in the night.

Moreover, the space is so unique and beautiful. The different floors gave each part of the night its own special feeling. Getting ready and having the bridal suite in the morning was phenomenal. It is such a gorgeous area for getting ready pictures, and had ample space for my fairly large bridal party. There was one point of the day where me and my bridesmaids laid in the bed with iced coffee…. A much needed moment you couldn’t get anywhere else lol! And the roof was PERFECT for a first look. I can’t wait to see our pictures in all the unique spaces. I was a little nervous leading up to the wedding about having to move our 100+ guests between floors, but it went with ease!! The staff made sure to get the names of guests who may need extra time moving through the spaces and gave them just that. Our guests actually ended up really enjoying this element of the venue and kept saying it was unlike any wedding they’ve been to. We also LOVED that moving to the cellar to party gave people who wouldn’t normally leave their table the chance to actually be up and participate.

Most importantly, the food!! And the drinks!!! We still talk about our tasting LOL. Seriously, we were able to try 33 things at our tasting, and everything was so fantastic. It made it hard to choose for the actual wedding day. I’ve heard that lots of couples don’t even get the chance to eat on their wedding day… not us! We were able to enjoy every single thing we ordered. We also made signature drinks and one of them was the bartender’s own creation, which was amazing. Our guests loved the food and the fact that it was served family style so everyone could have some of everything.

We are so SO happy with how our wedding turned out, and a lot of that we owe to the team at Deity. We cannot recommend them enough. We cannot thank them enough!

August 6th, 2023, will forever be etched in our memories, not just as the day we said "I do," but also as the day we experienced the magic of Deity.

From the moment we stepped into Deity, we were captivated by its beauty. The venue effortlessly marries elegance with charm, creating an ambiance that's both intimate and grand. Every corner, every detail, whispered tales of love and celebration, making it the perfect backdrop for our special day.

But what truly set our experience apart was the staff. Their dedication to ensuring our day was nothing short of perfect was evident in every gesture, every smile. And at the heart of this incredible team was Anna. As our coordinator, Anna was nothing short of a fairy godmother. With a meticulous eye for detail and a passion that's palpable, she orchestrated an evening that was seamless and unforgettable. Every moment flowed into the next, allowing us to be present and soak in the love and joy that surrounded us.

Now, let's talk about the life of the party - DJ Jamal. If you're looking for someone to elevate your event, look no further. His impeccable taste in music, coupled with his ability to read the room, ensured that our guests were on their feet all night long. From timeless Latin classics to Hip Hop hits, and of course hitting every point on our music wish list. Jamal's set had something for everyone. We can't recommend him highly enough!

And of course, what's a celebration without delectable food and drinks? Deity truly outdid themselves. Each dish was a culinary masterpiece, tantalizing our taste buds and leaving us craving for more. The drinks, crafted to perfection, were the cherry on top of an already sumptuous feast.

If you're on the hunt for a wedding venue that offers not just a beautiful space but also an experience, Deity is the place to be. With a team that's as passionate as they are skilled, and offerings that are high-level tasty, your special day is bound to be everything you've dreamed of and more.

Thank you, Deity, for making our wedding day truly magical. We couldn't have asked for a better place to start our forever.
We got married at Deity in May 2022, but wanted to share our experience there. The staff at Deity made our day one to remember. Deity is a lovely venue with a surprise on each floor. The vibe is so cozy, warm, romantic, and welcoming. We were not looking for a typical catering hall wedding venue, and no other place we visited came close to Deity.

Anna, the wedding coordinator, was simply incredible. She is fantastic at helping brides, grooms, and everyone in-between create their visions. She answered every email I sent and every request I suggested.

The food tasting we had at Deity was nothing short of terrific, and the food the day-of was no different. We chose the family-style dining and it was a huge hit with our guests - everyone was able to try a little bit of this and that. Dessert was not included, which was fine for us.

Deity offers a DJ at no additional cost, a vendor they have worked with many times in the past. As we got closer to the wedding, we felt a little bit nervous about this. However, we were wildly impressed with Ben - he definitely picked up on the music we were looking for. I would pay for his DJ services independently, outside of Deity... that's how much we liked him!

The bridal suite is absolutely beautiful. Though it is not included in the pricing of the venue, we felt it was worth paying for (especially for pictures, hair, and makeup). I do wish Deity would permit the couple and bridal party to use the suite for the duration of the night, since it's a cost the couple opts to pay additionally for.

We had 117 guests attend, but felt 100 would better suit the venue for space reasons.

It's worth mentioning that while we were venue shopping, we felt like there were costs for every little thing. Deity does not surprise you with costs; there were NO hidden secrets, unexpected surprises, or add-ons for every aspect of a wedding where it becomes overwhelming. The costs that we received in December 2021 were the costs that we paid in May 2022.

I wish we could do this day over again and again for an eternity. Thank you to the Deity staff that made it all possible!
We had the most fantastic time getting married at Deity! We were immediately impressed after taking the tour. So much is included in the reasonable price, the interior is beautiful, and the get-ready suite and rooftop is a major plus. We were not disappointed.

We knew we were going to have a small wedding with a bit of a complicated intercultural ceremony. Anna worked patiently with us for months to pin down every moment of the day. It was also very easy to plan using their recommended vendors (Stonefruit Botanical and Le Image), since they were already familiar with the space.

We made so many precious memories on the day-of — despite the torrential rain! The ceremony went perfectly, the food and drinks and dancing were great, and our guests had a fabulous time. The two of us had a lot of fun, too!

We were a bit sad that the rain stopped us from taking pictures on the rooftop. But later in the night, Anna noticed that the rain had let up, and took us up for some portraits. That was so thoughtful! She also made sure we had a private moment after the ceremony to eat and catch our breaths, which felt magical after such a whirlwind of an evening.

Overall it was an amazing experience. We are deeply grateful to Anna and the whole team for giving us such a beautiful day. We highly recommend Deity!
My husband and I recently had the pleasure of hosting our wedding at Deity and were blown away by the entire experience. From the moment we stepped foot into the venue, we knew we had found the perfect place to celebrate our special day.

The first thing that struck us was the venue's unique ambiance. Deity combines old-world charm with modern elegance. The beautifully restored 150-year-old building showcases exquisite architectural details, creating a romantic and intimate atmosphere that instantly won our hearts. The carefully curated decor and tasteful lighting enhanced the overall aesthetic, setting the stage for a truly magical wedding celebration.

The staff at Deity were an absolute delight to work with. From the initial planning stages to the day of the event, their professionalism and attention to detail were incredible. Our day of coordinator, Anna, was incredibly knowledgeable, organized, and accommodating. She worked closely with us to understand our vision and executed it flawlessly. The entire team, including the waitstaff and bartenders, were friendly, efficient, and went above and beyond to ensure that every guest felt welcomed and well taken care of. A day of coordinator can either make or break your wedding, and Anna is the BEST in the business – our entire wedding party still talks about her as a highlight of the day!! You won’t find anyone like her!

One of the standout features of Deity is its versatility. The venue offers multiple spaces, allowing for a seamless flow throughout the event, including getting ready in the suite (worth every penny!). We started with a heartfelt ceremony in the stunning Loft space, followed by a cocktail hour in the speakeasy-esque bar. The transition between spaces was effortless (which was our biggest concern with the multi-level venue), and our guests were in awe of the seamless coordination. The highlight of the evening was the reception in the Cellar, a hidden gem with its exposed brick walls and disco ball. It provided the perfect setting for an unforgettable evening of dancing.

Another aspect that impressed us was the culinary experience at Deity. The food was absolutely divine! The in-house chef is incredibly talented and our guests raved about the delicious hors d'oeuvres and main courses. We chose the standard family-style option and are glad we did – guests loved the ability to try all of the main dishes and sides.

Many other reviews mention that Deity is all-inclusive – this helped contain costs, have a seamless experience, and reduced the number of choices we had to make. The DJ being included was fantastic – we were a bit worried about not being able to choose our own, but Ben was amazing during planning and on the day of the wedding. For the vendors we did need (photographer, videographer, florist, dessert) we took advantage of Deity’s suggestions and were thrilled with the quality of each vendor recommended (Photography: Robert Carlo, Videography: Le Image, Florist: Charlotte Taylor at Floral Heights, Empire Cake, CityCakes).

To sum it up, our wedding at Deity in Brooklyn was an absolute dream come true. The combination of the venue's breathtaking ambiance, attentive staff, exceptional cuisine, and seamless execution made for an unforgettable experience. If you're searching for a wedding venue that exudes charm, sophistication, and provides top-notch service, Deity should be at the top of your list. We wholeheartedly recommend Deity to anyone seeking a memorable and enchanting wedding day. Thank you Anna, Caio, and the Deity team!!!

This is such a great place Beautiful historic building.
Awesome for weddings, holiday parties any event held here is just mesmerizing
Stop the search you’ve found your venue! After spending years searching for wedding venues in multiple cities, when we found Deity online we thought it was too good to be true. Weddings are expensive and in our research we found way too many venues that would nickel and dime you for everything. One of the things we loved the most about Deity was the all-inclusive cost with no hidden fees. We scheduled a tour with Caio and fell in love with the venue. Deity is a beautiful, multi-floor venue, that is filled with NYC charm. We really appreciated the wedding flow across the different levels as the night progressed. The downstairs dance floor helped keep our guests dancing all night long. We rented the bridal suite and it was the perfect space to get ready in. We did the first look on the roof, and then we took a trolley with the bridal party to take pictures in Dumbo. The food is also amazing! We did the tasting and left very full and with leftovers. Guest kept raving about how good the food was! The bar and its staff were a hit with the guests as well and provided top notch service to all. Anna, Deity's wedding coordinator, and Caio were a pleasure to work with both professionally and personally throughout the wedding planning process. We had a few planning meetings leading up to the wedding to discuss the details with Anna. We are happy to say that these meetings helped ensure everything on our wedding day went according to plan. On the day of the wedding, Anna + Team did all the behind the scenes magic such as coordinating with the florist, setting up the dessert table, décor, etc. so we could enjoy the day. Anna has superb attention to detail. For example, the bride had lipstick on her teeth right as she was about to walk down the aisle and Anna quickly gave her a tissue to wipe it off. The effort Anna put into preparation beforehand helped ensure that the flow of our wedding day ran perfectly, and it did! We couldn't recommend this venue enough.

I'm not a big wedding lover, but the event I attended at Weylin was really nice. The space is great, not gaudy like many other wedding venues I've been to. The food was very good as well. Overall a really nice Sunday.
I had my wedding here in February and it was an amazing experience. I only had 5 months to plan from the engagement to wedding day, and was blessed to find Deity. The pricing, venue and everything offered was great, but visiting the venue and speaking to Anna the coordinator solidified the choice for us. She was wonderful, attentive, answered every question we had and was so clear and kind to us. The owner Caio met with us when we decided on the venue and made our deposit, and he too was wonderful. He made us feel so special and it was a really intimate yet professional experience. So much was cared for when choosing this venue, the catering DJ all of the chairs/tables. It truly felt like all we had to do was show up, although we did have to get our own photographer + florist/decorations + dessert. That was nothing compared to everything they did for us at Deity. The food was wonderful, we opted out of a tasting but we’re assured we’d be happy and we truly were. DJ Ben was AMAZING and had our guests dancing all night. The staff on the day of were so polite, so helpful and seemed happy to be there.
I can’t thank them enough for making one of the most important days of my life SO special.

The Weylin is one of my favorite venues to photograph weddings and events at. This space is so versatile and you can bring your own design to create your dream event or wedding. The staff is very friendly and accomodating and I love the neighborhood too. As an NYC Wedding Photographer, it's hard to choose favorites, and this venue by far surpasses a lot of venues I've worked at. Here is a recent wedding for you to gain some inspiration from.

I have been using an office at Corner Office for 3 months now and I have nothing but praise. The staff here are really friendly and helpful. The offices and facilities are kept clean and orderly. The location in Flatbush works best for me however I have seen the other sites and they are great too. I would highly recommend Corner Office to anyone looking for a shared office space.

I rented space here a few weeks ago and I was really impressed with everything here. From the moment the day begins: Arriving to a location with minimal parking... There's a garage! Walking inside to a friendly security guard! A beautiful coffee room! And then there's the offices! They are really well decorated and always clean. Sam was very helpful with making sure I had everything I needed, and Elena at the front desk was an absolute gem! I will definitely rent here again!

Clean, professional, and friendly. I've been to dozens of coworking spaces in various cities and Corner Office NYC is one of the best! The staff was helpful and friendly, and the office looks very clean and professional. Corner Office has a much more professional feel than most of the other places I've seen. Highly recommended!

A great place for a conference or large event. It's a 5-6 minute walk from the subway, probably had nearby parking (or hired valets could arrange that). Inside, there's a gorgeous domed ceiling with frescos. The sound system was great-- always a concern in a large room. Food was fabulous, too!

I imagine it would also be great for a gala event or wedding.

The Weylin is a gorgeous event space that used to be an old school bank. Depending on the event being hosted at the venue, you may or may not be able to explore the many rooms and areas in this very spacious and beautiful location. No matter what type of event or how it is decorated, you will appreciate the architecture and history of the space.

LOVE LOVE LOVE my Corner Office. The executive feel will carry your company to the next level.

Great management, excellent office furniture. AMAZING conference rooms fully equipped for my presentation and client entertainment. I count with 27/7 access to my office and conference rooms. As a startup business I can cancel or lower my membership to best accommodate my needs.

Supper close to Brooklyn College making this ideal for creative work but also established firms and investors.

The work environment is one of the kind. You can expect great treatment from all members.

The idea is tremendous. Copy WeWork in a smaller setting. Execution not so much.

Acoustics are horrible. Any sound, converstation, anything, is heard throughout the entire workspace. There are 12 cubicles and 12 private offices. There are a few patrons who are on the phone the entire day, and so the noise is beyond acceptable.

The coffee they provide is cheap kcups (think kirkland).
The bathrooms don't have fans so the smell of the previous person lingers and lingers.
The management does a pretty good job of working with what they have, but the Owner is a sleaze. He will take any penny he can get, from printing charges, end of contract deposits, even a stamp is marked up by 500%.

The internet is usually fine, but has issues about once a month. Basically after being here for several months, it is apparent that the building was built "cheaply" and "quickly". There are no windows in the basement so you are surrounded by "too bright" fluorescent lights.

There is a mildewy smell also near the restrooms. Better to stay away in my opinion.

I photographed Peter and Sheridan's wedding here and loved it as a venue. I loved being able to capture the space and some moments from shooting above on next level. Great space for a huge wedding.
