When calling no one picks up or they just hang up. No worries just wanting to get a case file so I can expunge some false information. Or get clarity on it. Great work.
Answer the phone how can you take a responsibility of authority yet neglect the citizens your paid to protect?im filing. Complaint to this department
Waste of millions of taxpayers dollars. All they do is build barriers to protect the rich who live in the luxury condos in downtown.

Partied with a first precinct cop in Vegas! Great guy! Great for the career! I’d be glad to have him on the force! Just wants to do the right thing! Hire more people like him!

I called about a damage to rear window. I was on hold for about 2 min. The lady was kind and helpful. She directed me to the website to file a claim or the other option was to wait for someone to call me back. Otherwise she was unable to help w questions about me continuing to drive the car until it was fixed in a week. I just don't want to get pulled over.
It would be REALLY great if anyone ever answered the phone when calling. It's a 24/7 line, but nobody ever answers the phone to help the citizens of this city. The phone has been ringing for 19 minutes and counting.
This isn't the first time, otherwise I'd not complain. But when I had to file a report for my vehicle and HAD to go through the 1st Precinct, it was an absolute nightmare getting ahold of anyone. I even showed up there (as directed) and sat outside buzzing the door for 25 minutes because there was no desk officer, and not a soul in sight, nor was anyone answering the phone while I called then either.
What is the point of even having us call this number??? There's no live operator and no way to leave any message.

Today the Park Police were present and working hard at the Stone Arch Bridge Festival. My encounters with them were fun and engaging. I truly appreciate their work and engagement during the festival.
Could there be a more inept and likely corrupt PD, following someone walking with a shop cart to harass, and after reporting to Mr Hoyt receiving a social worker letter in the mail that says nhpd contacted them to contact the cart walker, as if to say it's just her mind, her imagination, she lied? Seriously. I cannot believe police in this city would hedge accountability after the incredible grief city cops have caused the country and the world!!!
The Northeast Precinct has been responsible for harassing and retaliatting on me for 7 years. They use various retail stores to pull stings and whatever else they can find to make my shopping experiences and the stores are not exactly the bad ones either. Just this past monday. This department pulled an incident at the Michaels store in Minnetonka because they were concerned about a set up with a higher up agency. They even told stores to take down displays so i couldn't shop the things i wanted to shop for
Never had a bad experience with MPD. When my car was stolen and I got it back they advised me of a recent shooting that just took place close to where I was at that very moment and that I should leave said area for safety. Was on phone with dispatch to meet officer to take car off stolen list.
They obviously don’t know what they’re doing…they can’t tell the difference between a taser and a gun
I was appalled at how you were treated downtown last night. I was just trying to go to target. Downtown in general needs more security for sure. It's ridiculous the lawless uncivilized folks seemingly run rampant without repurcution for no reason. Keep up the good work though it may seem thankless, its not.
Went above and beyond to help me move my mother away from a toxic, abusive relationship. I sincerely appreciate the 2 officers that helped. I didn't catch the names but you know who you are. Thank you. God bless
I don’t deal with this department, But I asked about prescription medication drop off in the woman who answered the phone was very pleasant. It was nice to get a very personable response.
They are great no problems at all!!!
Did a ride along a couple of years ago with a Sgt. Williams. A wonderful man and a true police officer. New Hope police do what they do best and protect and serve their community. Although I do not live in Plymouth, I am glad to live not too far away from NHPD.
They were gentle when they handcuffed me, the back of the cruiser was very clean and surprisingly roomy. Overall, very professional. Will get arrested by them again, for sure.
When my mother-in-law died, the officers were kind, responsive and helpful. Her death was unexpected and took our family by complete surprise. The officers took the time to answer questions we had and were very respectful.

I was in need of help on Saturday and they went above and beyond to help me. To resolve the situation, I needed to make a payment at the City Hall in order to fix the problem, but they didn't open until Monday. The officer helping us showed up to allow us to pay and fix the issue that day! Wow, we were overjoyed with their kindness! Thank you!
They don’t answer the phone. Kind of a bummer. The Minneapolis PD is excellent in this matter.

Lazy and then incompetent buffoons! They block off roads and just sit in their squads and play with their phones. Why can’t they at least direct traffic!? Not trained for that!

15 years working with them. They have been able to assist with a variety of issues to keep all of my tennants safe at 2 properties. Thank you for your service.
It’s sad that we have “public servants” that are charged with protecting and serving the community but all they really do is set up speed traps and eat donuts at the Holiday gas station. We should be able to go to our police department and receive help when we ask for it. Instead we are turned away. I am beyond disappointed with the “service” that this department gives us. I will be escalating my issues to the Attorney General in hopes that he is able to do something about my issue. Since following the law does not work. I am ashamed and honestly, will not be calling this department for help in the future. It’s better to solve the issues yourself. Do not waste your time calling these lazy people. They will not help you with anything. Just fix it yourself or let it go.
UPDATE: The Chief called me and spoke to me about the situation. They couldn't do anything so what I said still stands. But, at least he had the decency to call me and try to empathize! So, Thank You!

I have lived in this city for 19 years and in my 5 occasions when I have needed or asked the City of Crystal Police for there help or protection they have not been responsive. In my opinion they act very dismissive of concerns for personal and public safty, openly admitted to not following protocol in one of the instances and on multiple occasions in response to myself and others concerns respond with " this is not our top priority".
I had security questions, they had answers.
Made a non-emergency call on 11/12/2018 approx. 6:30 pm. Was put on hold for 3 mins....someone came back and asked what I was calling about. Told them of a young male soliciting money door to door. Was asked by person on the phone "what do you want the police to do about it?" Was very surprised by the response. Don't officers check out the neighborhoods anymore when someone calls in? Very disappointed and won't call that number again.

I watched the news and it was reported that Minneapolis metered parking was free because of a holiday. I checked with the city website and it reported it was also free. I returned to my car to find a parking ticket because this particular meter was not owned by the city, which it did say on the website if I had scrolled down further. I disputed this ticket because of these reasons to get a response from a Sergeant saying, we will not waive your fee because you admitted you just didn't pay. No, that's not why. I just ended up paying the $40 ticket.
Citation put in my windshield wiper for expired plates has incorrect information punched in with no name.. Not even sure if it's issued for me or put on the incorrect car. Those guys aren't that busy that they can't fill the blanks in.
Ticketed my car for out of state plates . No other cars ticket. Minneapolis has awful signage up.
Unlike the Robbinsdale police...see my other reviews...this department in Crystal is responsive, professional and a pleasure to have serve the community. The Robbinsdale police department could learn a thing or two from their neighbor community.
Honestly, I can't figure out what these officers do. They've been called multiple times about vandalism and drug dealing in my apartment building, they don't care. Shout out to Officer Lamers, however, he was the ONLY cop to give advice and handle the situation.
Service is great
On several mornings during my morning drive I witnessed a crazy aggressive driver that nearly hit other cars during lane changes and illegal passes. I rarely see driving so bad it needs to be reported but I feared this guy really could hurt someone so I reached out to the Crystal PD. Peter Underthun got in touch with me and said he'd alert fellow officers of the vehicle. That was enough for me but he followed up with me a week or so later just to let me know that officers had seen the driver on four separate days and that he'd been driving within the law. I'm glad the driver calmed down (at least in the stretch where I'd seen him) and was surprised to get a follow up. Appreciated!

From my experiences, they are absolutely great and very helpful. Obviously people need to be polite because no one is helpful if you are rude.
Thank you to the Minneapolis Police for how they handled the situation at Wells Fargo. They were peaceful, understanding, and caring of human life. Morton County could really learn something from them.
An officer was able to help me yet it was obvious that he wanted to end the conversation as soon as it started. I was seeking assistance and he would interrupt me with a short answer and would walk away. I had call out to him twice for additional questions. Besides the lack of servant leadership, he was able to provide clear recommended steps and knew answers to my questions.
Officer osbeck jr is the most cutest cop I've ever seen in my life! I had the biggest crush on him when he use to come into Chipotle for lunch 💕
Got a ticket for expired tabs on a new car that was just purchased. Valid 21 day temp was displayed in the rear window. The officer obviously didn't get out and walk around the car to check properly.
Called the Shift Sgt who was helpful and friendly. He took my license plate # and told me it would be taken care of. He also mentioned that he would have a word with the newer Park Agent that tagged me about the problem. Now that's service!

They work hard and work a very dangerous job in order to keep us safe. They continue to put their lives before ours so we can go home worry free. They will never be perfect and make mistakes as all humans will. But when you need help they are always there. They work above and beyond to keep us safe.
Teens exposed themselves while taking selfies today. Called 911. Operator told me they were on a higher priority call. I find it crazy that a 3 year old being exposed to a teenagers dick isn't that important. Cops never showed. Great job cpd, you all are top notch. Glad my daughters saw teenage wieners. You all should be ashamed. Can't wait to move
Keep up the great work! There when you need them and mostly very quick to respond! I'm glad to know they are around and most seem pretty fair!/helpful. I do think they hang out at walgreens and hyvee a bit much, but that would be my only complaint which would isn't worth deducting stars for me. They serve our community it seems proudly and I feel protected!
Both of my daughters live in the fifth precinct. When a visiting four-year old fell and hit her head, the police were there within two minutes. When my medically fragile granddaughter stopped breathing, they were there within one minute. This week, when a group of belligerent drunks climbed up the front steps of my daughter's house, there were three squad cars there within three minutes. The officers of the fifth precinct are awesome!!!! I am so grateful they are keeping my family safe!
I believe it is time that the crystal police department remind their PEACE officers that they too have rules to follow AND that everyone with a cell phone has the capability to record their interactions...
When a PEACE officer pulls over a vehicle, number one they need a VALID REASON, number two they CANNOT walk up to the window and ask if you have ever been arrested before, nor can they SEARCH you or your vehicle simply because someone MOVED in the vehicle. No wonder people riot against the PEACE officers, it's the only way to get heard.
This is the experience my son had coming home from work today, how many others have had the same experience? I have names, do you? I would like to hear from others with the same issues.
