This is the Prakash (coming to the world) Asthan (place) of the 9th Sikh Guru, Dhan Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Maharaj Ji. Sri Bhora Sahib is also there. Located in the narrow lane of Old Amritsar City. It is around 1 km from Sri Harmandir Sahib. One can easily reach there by walking through Churre wala bazaar (Bangles market).

The Gurdwara complex is huge. Have Langar Hall also. Washrooms are also there.

Must visit and pay your obeisance to Dhan Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Maharaj Ji.
The Golden temple is famous for its full golden dome, it is one of the most sacred pilgrim spots for Sikhs. The Mandir is built on a 67-ft square of marble and is a two storied structure. Maharaja Ranjit Singh had the upper half of the building built with approximately 400 kg of gold leaf.
Gurdwara sahib is easily approachable through Cycle Rikshaw's .... Do contribute Pathiya to lungar sahib..
U can take bath in a bathroom by filling up a bucket from the holy water coming from an underground well..

Do visit to recieve blessings of the almighty 🙏

The Golden Temple, also known as Sri Harmandir Sahib, is a revered Sikh Gurdwara located in the city of Amritsar, Punjab, India. It stands as a symbol of spiritual and historical significance for Sikhs worldwide. To reach the Golden Temple, one can opt for various modes of transportation. The nearest airport is Sri Guru Ram Dass Jee International Airport, while Amritsar Junction is the closest railway station. Buses and taxis are also available for convenient travel.

The Golden Temple holds immense importance for Sikhs as it is considered their holiest shrine. It was constructed by Guru Arjan Dev, the fifth Sikh Guru, in the 16th century. The temple's dome is adorned with gold leafing, which gives it its iconic appearance and name. The sacred text of the Sikh religion, the Guru Granth Sahib, is enshrined inside the temple, and the complex serves as a place for prayer, reflection, and community service.

Being a significant pilgrimage site, the Golden Temple attracts a considerable number of visitors. It can be crowded, especially during religious festivals and weekends. However, the temple management ensures a well-organized system to accommodate and serve the devotees.

One of the remarkable aspects of the Golden Temple is the langar, a community kitchen that provides free meals to all visitors regardless of their religion or background. The prasad (food offering) served in the langar is considered a blessed and sacred offering, and partaking in the communal meal is a significant aspect of the Sikh faith, promoting equality and service to humanity.
Golden Temple in Amritsar is a cherished religious site for Sikhs, attracting visitors from around the world. Its location, spiritual significance, community service through langar, and stunning architecture make it a must-visit destination for those seeking a deeper understanding of Sikhism and a peaceful and inclusive experience.
this is a place of history as many of the gurus lived or were born here. It is accessible by two/three wheelers and with good driving skills four wheelers (and then it’s walkable).
Religious place for the Sikhs. The temple also has a museum which is a must visit. It contains all the details for the history related to sikhs. The place also gives in-depth information of the struggles and sufferings encountered by them. Prasada is available here 24x7 also free drinking water. The wait to enter the main sanctum is long. Sometimes it can even go upto 2hrs. There is a free stall to store the footwear. It can be found on the right side of the main entrance. This is a must visit place in Amritsar. Please comply with the dress code while entering the temple.

You will feel as if you have come to another world. A unique combination of purity and peace. Neither rich nor poor, all are equal. You can sit for hours looking at Darbar Sahib. And don't forget to eat the tasty Prasad here.
Historical Gurudwara Sahib where people come from far area for thier wish of getting boy kid. Here we get prashad of Misse pranthe along with onion and jaggery. Very peaceful gurudwara. Getting room here is very easy, so one can stay here for night, although Golden Temple is just 35 min from this Gurudwara Sahib.
Gurudwara is old and in the tiny lanes of Amritsar. The Gurudwara is big from inside.
It’s a wonderful time 🤝😊💯
Gurudwara Tobha Bhai Shalo is situated near Darbar Sahib Shri Harimandir Sahib. When you come out from Darshani Dudi ਦਰਸ਼ਨੀ ਡਿਉਢੀ your left hand side Market called Mai seva bazaar that is way towards Gurudwara Tobha Bhai Shalo ji. It took 20 to 25 minutes by foot or you can hire a rickshaw it will charge 50 rupees one side or depending on the time to time charge (charges may be not specified) . Very peaceful Temple but very congested. Expect extremely crowded and tight streets. No space to park a 4 wheeler. Please do hire an e-rickshaw. All the best
Just two words... Peaceful and relaxing.
This is a blessing to Bhai Sahib bhai Shalo ji from Guru Ram Das ji and Guru Arjun Dev ji who he served while Darbaar Sahib sarovar was being constructed. Bhai Sahib was blessed with a Tobha (Kund of Jal)as a blessing by Guru Arjun Dev ji when Guru Sahib was happy with his sewa. It is truly believed that childless women bear children and the unhealthy become healthy by bathing with the toba Jal.
It is in close proximity to Darbar Sahib, less than a km. Walking distance is 200 m post parking your car.
Must visit to complete your darshan at Darbaar Sahib.
Gurudwara Guru ke Mahal is the birthplace of Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur ji(9th Guru Sahib)It was the home of Guru Ram Dasji(4th Guru).Guru Arjun Dev ji, Guru Hargobind Sahib ji spent 58 years in this house. Walking distance. Take an e rick if necessary else walk.
Gurudwara Sri Lachi Ber Sahib is situated in the main Gurdwara Sri Harmandir Sahib complex.
Gurdwara Sri Lachi Ber Sahib refers to the Lachi Ber tree located to the right of the Darshan Deori (entrance) to Sri Harmandir Sahib.
The Lachi Ber tree bears small cardamom berries.

In 1577, Sri Guru Arjan Sahib Ji used to sit here under the Lachi Ber tree and supervise the excavation of the sarovar and building of Sri Harmandir Sahib.

Bhai Shalo Ji, a devout Sikh of Guru Arjan also used to participate in the voluntary excavation work.

The Brave Warriors Bhai Sukha Singh and Bhai Mehtab Singh tied their horses with this very tree in 1740 while entering Sri Harmandir Sahib to behead Massa Rangar, a fanatic mughal.
Massa Rangar desecrated Sri Harmandir Sahib by converting it into a dancing hall and pleasure palace.

This Gurudwara Sahib is also known as Pathi Sahib Gurudwara. It's situated in very narrow street, 5 minutes walk from Shri Darbar Sahib. This Gurudwara Sahib is very famous among married couples as it is considered that one can be blessed with children if they offer pathis and apples in Gurudwara Sahib. You can buy both these things from shops outside Gurudwara Sahib.
Wahegurug
Its traditonal place for Sikh people. It's house of Sikh guru sahib. Gur Tegh Bahadur Sahib's birth place and very famous in town.

It's walking area, no cars or no parking here. Very tight streets.
Nice temple, shame it's surrounded by many buildings so it's hard to get a full view but an interesting place nonetheless. Make sure you remove shoes AND socks and that your head is covered (they provide headscarves too) before you go inside.
Located deep in the narrow streets, this is a place of history as many of the gurus lived or were born here. It is accessible by two/three wheelers and with good driving skills four wheelers (and then it’s walkable). There are ruins of the old buildings around which give the temple a regal look. There is langar as all places and free headcovers, drinking water and shoe rack like most gurudwaras.
Good location. But tight way
The holly place
Good place
It is the right place to take blessings of god
