Was very disappointed by the food and the service. This place is highly recommended and I read some positive reviews however, I didn’t find it very appealing. The food was not very good, but quite pricy and the waiters didn’t even try to be nice. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone coming to the city.
Many locals recommended me this restaurant and it didn't disappoint.
They have an English menu (online) which is very helpful.

Probably one of my top places to eat! He has very unique dishes and the owner is a very pleasant guy!
Amazing restaurant that I would highly recommend. Fantastic service, lovely atmosphere and delicious food and wine. We were served by a guy named Minas (I think) and he was very friendly and attentive. The stuffed pumpkin and lavash dishes are a must-try!
I absolutely do not recommend this place. If you dislike restaurants where the staff wander aimlessly between customers, seem untrained, and end up bringing the wrong orders, avoid this place. However, if you enjoy the experience of eating in a bus station atmosphere, it might work for you. The food has a basic taste that will fill you up, but nothing more.
Nice survive, and the food was very delicious. Vodka, wine , mantı, pickled vegetables 😊 we will visit again for sure
Staff was very polite and hospitable - shared with us their house wine and even gave us recommendations what to order size and taste wise. The food was delicious and their apricot vodka was out of this world.

Food selection & quality is great - and the waiters/waitresses were exceptionally friendly. However, it seems that they place tourists at the worst tables - so atmosphere was not so good and the table we were given was loud, noisy and stressful.

Average. Food is a bit pricey, taste is okay. Nothing exceptional with the ambiance you can see everyone if you are sitting in the corner. Service is also okay. It is not good and not bad either. I only find the service crew downstairs a bit rude and not welcoming. I asked if there is an available seat and he immediately said “no” without checking. Glad that one lady came and checked one for me. Took time for them to serve as well but I didnt mind. Just overall average. Will I suggest? No. I’d spend somewhere else. :)

I love, love this restaurant! We came here twice. For lunch and dinner. I had the Dolma again, it is very tasty. I also loved the dessert the Mille-Feullie, best puff pastry. Would definitely love to come back here if I ever visit Yerevan again. Prices are also reasonable. ♥️
One of the best restaurants I ever dined in. The food was absolutely incredible. It was really hard to get in, and we had to make a reservation two days ahead. We ordered many items off the menu to try. I highly recommend this place, a must as part of your visit to Yerevan.

Uncomfortably stuffy atmosphere, unusually expensive, especially in view of the small portions. Awkward hovering of owner over the place. TV blasting at full volume the whole lunch. Yerevan has much better choices, best avoided.
Just amazing. Do not hecitate to celebrate your wedding in Royal Yerevan. The manager Haig is so kind and professional, food is delicious, the athmosephere is fantastic. We are super satisfied!
Typical tavern in the center of Yerevan. The food was really good but unfortunately, we had to wait more than 45mn for our main dish to arrive, and had to eat all the sides we ordered cold. I think they forgot part of our order, which is a shame because the food was delicious. Grilled BBQ dishes seem to be the specialty, but there are plenty of vegetarian options available as well. It was a bit noisy with the music, but the band was not bad.

This is a legendary and old restaurant that has been completely renovated recently. This place offers amazing food, an amazing atmosphere, and great service.

It took this vacation to taste seafood paella. Wonderful cooking guys. Excellent ambience and service.
Went to visit seeing the reviews, was sent back once saying there is no place to sit, curiosity kicked in and went next day in odd hours. Big mistake, I was given an ultimatum of 1 hour to finish dining, staff was rude, felt very unwelcome there, food was far below average than other restaurants I have tried in Yerevan. To add to the misery, the restaurant manager was shouting and fighting with staff in front of all the diners, worst thing to happen when you dine with a 1 year old, terrified. Old tavern restaurant looks good, but won’t recommend if you are a tourist. Better options are available nearby where you will be treated better and can have a great dining experience.
The food taste so good but the serving time took so long.
We came to Yerevan from Greece for a week and was looking for a nice place for a birthday celebration. After many researches decided to choose Katsin restaurant. The food, service and atmosphere all great. Thanks to our waiter Styop I think who made our evening even more enjoyable…. Definitely will visit again on our next trip to Armenia 🇦🇲
we ate at Tavern with my parents & thought we wouldnt make it since i havent book but they are accommodating for lunch time. Moms love the ceasars salad the lettuce is crunchy & fresh. would def go back when im in Armenia.

A great restaurant! Allowed me to walk in at 15:00 but told me that I had to leave by 16:30, which was okay for me. Service was impeccable. Prices are a bit expensive, but they were worth it.
Very nice restaurant and with a unique interrior design. The food here is very well made, and my favorite dishes here are from the steak menu. This place also offers one of the best sushi in the city.

Must visit place by every single tourist who visits Armenia. Creative idea, perfect ambience, delicious foods. The service was average, bit some of the foods were super spicy. All in all it was good experience, we enjoyed the place and the design.

I went there twice. The first time was good. The second time the stew was too salty and the lamb was mostly bone. Normally I put 1 star when something is too salty and uneatable, but the dumplings were good, so I put 2 stars. After two times overall I do not recommend here anyway.
It was very very busy. We had to wait to get a table but it was worth it. The have a live band playing local traditional music which was a nice touch. The food came very fast. It was good and fresh but I had better dalmas in other restaurants.

We had a wonderful experience at this place. We celebrated our daughter’s baptism here and we were more than amazed. The location itself is incredibly beautiful. It is a huge, mystic and very green garden where you feel like you are in a fairy tale. The service was amazingly attentive and professional, the food was excellent. The mangers were always available for questions and the staff is very friendly. I will always come back!

I was here two times - both times I ate Khinkali with mushrooms. I would really recommend this place for khinkali. Just please be aware that for the each type of khinkali (meat, mushrooms, cheese and so on) you need to order at least three. They also have Georgian lemonades. Good place.
Service could improve. The waitress was a bit cold. Tried summer dolma and chicken kebab. Underground restaurant with cool temperature. But it was sort of empty when I visited in the afternoon.
First off, if you are going to an upscale restaurant in Yerevan, you better book at least a day in advance. Not knowing better, we attempted a walk-in and was promptly denied. We then ended up booking a slot three days later !

The service was very slow. Ordered two shawarmas, which were listed as fastfood on the menu, and they took over half an hour to be served. The quality of the shawarma itself was just average.
No air conditioning and tonight was very hot. Also, perhaps we didn’t make the best choices for our meals. Anyway, perfect service by Gor, very nice and helpful. Thanks a lot

We had an amazing time dining at Katsin, they had mouth watering dishes, live music and an exceptional service. I would recommend the ‘Mihammara with mozzarella’ for an appetizer and the grilled meat set for the entree.

The atmosphere in this restaurant was very nice, however, the staff is not very friendly. It took nearly an hour to get what we ordered and they clearly took advantage of us being tourists by giving less food on one plate but charging for 2 full plates. The lamb we ordered was good but one entire piece was pure fat. They also did not inform that there is an extra charge for the traditional live band. Not a problem really, but letting the customers know upfront might be a good idea. We definitely will not go here again next time we are in Yerevan.
Very bad experience, we was waiting more than 1 hour to be served and ringing the bell, we ordered 2 soups as a starter, and for main a meat plater, when the food arrives was cold specially the meat, nobody cleaned our table, we asked for the bill and still the waiter didn't collected the dirty plates away from the table. This place didn't deserve even one star. And they charge us for service without giving a hospitality service.

And high expectations but it was a disappointment. Limited selection and none of the courses we have ordered had any character. Overpriced for what you get - Armenia has a mind blowing cuisine, and you can have awesome food in Yerevan for much less.
As a chain fastfood restaurant Karas is excellent. Compared to a regular restaurant the food could be better, but then the price would be more. So I like things to stay the same. The service was very good and the atmosphere is nice, The chicken kebab was good, but fries were so so. In case you're wondering, Tan is an unsweetened yogurt drink.
Customer service is non-existent and terrible service. The waiter hadn’t informed me that they don’t accept credit payments, and I had to use whatever cash I had to pay for my meal. Unfortunately, I only had my credit card with me.

Dolma (stuffed cabbage leaves) I had for dinner was over wrapped in Cabbage with very little stuffing in it. I have noticed before leaving that one of the waiters (two guys) was laughing after my complain.

We ordered beef kebab ,fried chick ,rice and taboule and mashroom and dulma that was terrible it was my first time and last time orderd taste bad smell so bad and portion small and too expensive for this quality
Noyan Restaurant is located right in Yerevan center, parallel of Mashtots Avenue. Every time I visit Yerevan, I dine in at Noyan, as it has the best food and service.

Kebab was very delicious, salad fresh and good coffee. Staff attentive, but there was only 2 tables busy, so it was quite inside. Balcony windows were open, so it was lil bit hot inside but it was fine for me (air condition was turned off, but if I asked they could turn it on). Location is great, nearby the small fauntain/lake and park.

Amazing food! Eggplant Caviar is to die for! Ossobuco Risotto is the best I ever had! Entertainment fun but a bit too loud. Service perfect!

The food were great! We loved the meat platter, dolma and beef kebab! Hot choco tastes a little bit special. The only downside was the service. We were promised 20mins. We ended up waiting for our meal for about 45mins. And only 2 ladies were able to converse in decent English. This place accepts cash and card payments.

The best restaurant in the world. I have been in many restaurants around the world, but so far this Armenian restaurant is the best. Quality food, big portions, cheap prices, very friendly staff and live music, it is the way to 5 star restaurant. Do not hesitate to visit this restaurant. I highly recommend the restaurant, food and the people working there.

Wasn't very busy, seemed kind of a bland place with not too much life. Maybe it was just the day/time we were there? Food was pretty good but nothing to get too excited about. Bathrooms were spotlessly and very modern. Live dancing and singing entertainment but I'm not sure if that's every night?
A must visit spot in the day or night. Beautiful scenery, nice landscape and you might be lucky to find an ongoing live concert to enjoy.

U Artusha and Anahit are the same restaurant. It delivers Armenian cuisine in a traditional ambience. As a foreign visitor, it's hard to tell from Real Armenian servings. The Dolma we ordered is not as good as the lamb. Anyway, a modest dinner without surprises.
