Yesterday evening we had a wildlife tour with Kelly. It was amazing, Kelly is an excellent guide and a lovely person. She shared all of her knowledge with us, we had the chance to see many animals, including a black bear with a cub. Great experience!

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip with Maligne adventures. We managed to see lots of deer and three brown bears. The tour guide had really insightful knowledge on the area and the different animals. I would have given 5 stars, however a lot of the roads were around town and we had already driven to most of the places on the tour.

Sam was a great guide. He had broad knowledge and he was passionate about conservation and wildlife management. We saw grizzly bear, black bears, Clark's nutcracker, elks, mule deer, marmot, Martin, bald eagles, and white-tailed deer.

Brent Daniels was a great guide. We saw deer and elk all over Jasper and the spots he knows. We also saw Big horn sheep and was able to watch two juvenile males banging heads and trying to take the small trees down. Rambunctious trio of them. Brent was very informative about the animals, the eco system and the elevation challenges the animals face. I highly recommend this tour but as Brent said- he won’t be able to top the sheer number of deer in several varieties we saw today!

My wife and I joined our tour guide Chloe yesterday and had a real adventure. It all started in town when we saw a black bear being chased down the street in Jasper by paint gun toting park rangers. We saw osprey, elk, marmots and other wildlife as well. The Maligne lake tour lived up the the hype and our boat tour went very smoothly as we were entertained by the crew of our boat the whole journey. It was well organized and a lot of fun. I would definitely recommend the tour company and in particular our tour guide Chloe. Great time!

During out recent trip to Jasper, we were desperate to see some of the local wildlife inhabitants and decided to book an evening wildlife tour with Maligne Adventures for our first night, and there is no exaggeration in saying that this was one of the best tours I have ever done.
We were greeted by Jamie who picked us up at the Marmot Lodge and warmly welcomed us to his comfortable tour bus. Jamie informed us that there was never a guarantee of seeing animals but within 5 minutes we were all in awe, watching our first black bear beside the railway tracks before even getting into the wilderness.
The next 2.5/3 hours were filled with beautiful scenery, bears, elk, eagles, deer and even a coyote family. This trip genuinely felt like a drive through a safari park with the abundance of nature on show in the pristine wilderness of Jasper, there wasn't a dull moment.
Jamie made this trip so spectacular with his unrivalled passion and knowledge about the local wildlife. He knew where the local eagles were nesting, where the osprey liked to hang out and could spot bears no‐one else had noticed. Jamie took the time to tell us plenty stories about wildlife and the local area in general, pointing out everything we were seeing on route, and told us that on his days off, he liked to explore the local area for animals then too and his passion really translated into the tour. The thing that stood out the most about Jamie in his role as a tour guide on wildlife searches was not only his deep passion for the flora and fauna of the area but his absolute respect for wildlife and nature that he imparts on to his guests. Jamie advised on the dos and don’ts with keeping safe distances, respecting boundaries etc, pointing out the errors of other people getting out of cars and at one point respectfully asking people to get back in their cars and give bears the space and respect they deserve. Jamie is not just a casual observer and commentator of wildlife, he is a true conservationist and ambassador for the natural world.
After almost 3 hours, we started to head back when we stopped to see a grizzly bear with her 2 cubs who casually sauntered across the road and gently kept pace with the bus, turning over large rocks looking for bugs, the cubs were very playful with each other, copying everything mum did too and it was incredible and very entertaining to watch. Jamie checked that no one on the tour was in a hurry to get back for anything and was happy to let us enjoy this for around half an hour maybe even longer even though the tour was officially over, and never once mentioned that the tour was over or we were keeping him from his personal life, he truly just wanted to make sure everyone got the most from the tour and got memories to last them a lifetime.
A solid 10 out of 10 for this tour and genuinely a must do for anyone hoping to see animals in their natural habitat.

We had a free evening in Jasper so we decided to book the evening wildlife tour. Best decision ever! Our guide, Jamie, was beyond fabulous. He went out of his way to find us as much wildlife as possible and give us the closest view/best angle for taking pics. He took us all the way to Maligne Lake on the off chance there might be a rare moose hanging around (we didn't find one).
Our tour was supposed to be 3 hours but it ended up being 4.5 because on the way back to town we spotted a mama grizzly bear with her two cubs right beside the road. They ended up walking right beside our bus and stayed in the area for a good hour at least. Jamie was so good about letting us stay to observe and just slowly moved the bus along to keep the bears in sight.
On top of all that, we also had six black bear sightings, two bull elks, two bald eagles, two coyotes, and an osprey. This was the most spectacular experience and I would do it again in a heartbeat.

We did the Wildlife and Waterfalls Tour with Maligne Lake Cruise and our guide was Jamie. It was a pretty full day: we were picked up from the hotel at 9:15 and got back around 15:30.
Jamie was a relaxed and knowledgeable guide, who obviously loved the area and its wildlife. He went out of his way to give us opportunities to see elk, a black bear, a moose and an eagle.
The trip involved a short stroll around the Maligne canyon before heading off to Maligne Lake for the boat trip to Spirit Island, which should be mandatory experience for everyone.
Booked via 'Get Your Guide' who were also excellent.
