We toured Venice with Lucrezia Della Scala. It was raining, but she managed to make the day very enjoyable for us. She’s an excellent tour guide who speaks impeccable English. She has a lovely sense of humor. Lu took us to several sites that we would never have found on her own. Her knowledge of Venice and its history helped us understand this remarkable city. Her easy informative style made the three hour tour go by quickly. And She introduced us to Bellini cocktails, a delightful treat for all of us.

Lucrezia took my family and our friends on a fabulous tour of the Dorsoduro neighborhood. She was great with the young kids and all 6 of us had a really fun time learning interesting facts along the way. I highly recommend exploring beautiful Venice with Lucrezia!

The best guided tour I have ever had.Lucrezia is truly knowledgeable about historical, architectural and cultural facts.What makes her guiding so special is that she shares more than just the facts you could find in a tourist guide.She knows the stories behind the buildings, the places and the famous people of her city and she shares them with generosity, kindness and a wonderful sense of humour. Lucrezia is able to adapt her tour according to the preferences of her guests and that flexibility makes the tour feel like a natural stroll around town. My daughter and I have spent an extremely instructive and fun afternoon with Lucrezia and we can highly recommend her.

We had a wonderful experience with Lu. She was super accommodating of our groups needs and showed us great spots for food and shopping. Her knowledge of Venice and the information she shared about the area and buildings was informative, interesting and well prepared. We loved every minute of her tour and would recommend it to anyone especially those who only have a short time in Venice. It’s a great way to cover a lot of detail in a short time. 💓🇮🇹👌🏻

The walking tour was okay. Our guide gave us great information. The actual gondola ride was so much fun. Very skilled individuals who steer them. Loved it!

It was one of the best experiences I have ever experienced. Tiziana (the tour’s guide) was so kind and patient, she showed us the right place and introduced us to a brief history of the city of Venice. What a wonderful way to experience Venice with Lucrezia's secret tour! Indeed, it is not difficult to find the locations in Venice that everybody knows about, and there are lots of them and they are fascinating. But there is so much more! and finding out about the smaller things, sometimes having to do with how the city developed, sometimes things about everyday life, can change the way one sees the city. That happened to me. I loved the tour, and luckily there is always more to find out, so I look forward to a next visit to Venice and a secret tour sequel with Lucrezia!

Valentina was a great guide. Super informative, lovely, animated story telling. She really brought the Basilica alive for us.

We took their gondola tour of the grand canal and it was unforgettable. We paid 35€ per person which I think is very reasonable for what we got. We spent around 35 minutes on the water. Staff were so nice and accommodating ensuring that we knew about everything and were in the right place.

We were fortunate to find Lucrezia (Lu) Della Sala & Secret Venice Tours from a review someone else provided. All we can say is, THANK YOU! Now to provide a review in return that will hopefully inspire someone else to book a tour, or tours, with her! This trip was three years in the making and was our first trip to Venice. We conversed with Lu in advance via email to discuss the things that were important to us on this trip. Her thoughtfulness, attention to detail, and the focus on what was important to us, was a surprise and delight. We were very fortunate to book several days and could spend a week learning and enjoying the City of Venice through the eyes of a local, Lu. Of course, she shared the usual suspects, St. Marks Basilica, the Doge’s Palace, the famous bridges, the oldest gondola maker, and the famous bookstore. The real magic for us was behind the scenes. She took us to some of the dark historical places, quaint neighborhoods, secret gardens and provided us with laughter and smiles sharing some of the quirky history too! Her talents and level of care are second to none. She recommended and made reservations for us every night (my husband is particular about pizza, and she found places he loved), and even helped us secure a safe ride to the ship port on our final day. My husband says after three weeks of touring throughout Italy, with many different guides, Lu is by far the best! We are looking forward to our next trip to Venice, which of course, will include tours for as many days as Lu is available!
