Very pretty setting with multiple buildings including two different tasting rooms (one family-friendly, one 18+) on a scenic hill. Dogs supposedly welcome outside in one area and even inside the other although when I was there I didn’t see any. 1/2 mile of dusty dirt road at the end to get in left a coating on my car. Friendly staff on Thurs afternoon around 3pm. High prices for wine-$14 for average pour of their cheapest and $20 for snack-sized fancy ravioli. Bottles of wine $48 and up, most decent ones ~$54 or more. Didn’t do the tasting but looked about like all the others in the area- $20 for a small flight. Nice that they offer a 10% military discount 🙂 but my opinion is prices are still too high considering the location.

Had a beautiful experience here. Greatly appreciate the separate spaces for children/families and adults. Wine was excellent and service was warm. Generous pours, reasonable bottle prices, and great food. I will certainly be back soon.

I had an amazing time at Stone Tower Winery last Saturday. I was invited here by a good friend who was celebrating their birthday. There was adequate seating and the views were amazing! Our Sommelier Ed was very informative. For a winery they had a decent food selection as well. It was nice to see that this winery was also child and dog friendly. I am looking forward to returning and actually walking the vineyard. Overall a great experience.
I think I've found my new favorite winery in the DMV! My friends and I did their $25 wine tasting and talked with Ann about their wines. I have to say everything tasted delicious! I loved each wine and wanted one of each, but my bank account won't allow that. Lol! I did end up buying their Wild Boar Brut Rosé, it is the perfect summer wine. Their food, O.M.G. I ordered the charcuterie boards my friends ordered pizza and we also go.their warm crab dip. Everything was delicious (if the crab dip has just a sprinkle of Old Bay, I think it would have been even better than it was). We sat inside, downstairs was quieter and a lot cooler than the upstairs seating area but the grounds are beautiful. I look forward to coming back!

Stone Tower Winery is an absolute gem nestled in the heart of Loudoun County. From the moment you arrive, you're greeted by stunning vistas of rolling vineyards that create a perfect backdrop for an unforgettable winery experience.

What We Loved:

Scenic Beauty: The panoramic views are breathtaking. Whether you’re relaxing on the terrace or wandering through the vineyards, the scenery is a photographer’s dream and makes for a serene and relaxing visit.

Outstanding Wines: Stone Tower offers a diverse selection of wines that cater to a variety of palates. The tasting flights are well-curated, allowing you to explore everything from their crisp whites to their robust reds. Our favorites were the Wild Boar Sauvignon Blanc and the Hogback Mountain Reserve – both were complex and beautifully balanced.

Welcoming Atmosphere: The staff here are incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about their craft. Their warmth and hospitality make the tasting experience both educational and enjoyable. They’re more than happy to offer recommendations and share stories about the wines and the vineyard's history.

Lovely Facilities: The winery’s layout is thoughtfully designed, offering plenty of space for both indoor and outdoor seating. The rustic yet elegant architecture blends perfectly with the natural surroundings. The terrace and patio areas are perfect for soaking up the sun and enjoying a leisurely afternoon.

Event-Friendly: Stone Tower is also a popular venue for events, and it’s easy to see why. The well-maintained grounds and beautiful indoor spaces make it ideal for weddings, parties, and corporate events.

Tips for Visitors:

Plan Ahead: Weekends can be busy, so consider making a reservation or arriving early to secure a good spot.

Picnic-Friendly: Feel free to bring a picnic – there are plenty of areas to enjoy a meal with your wine.

Family and Dog-Friendly: The winery is family-friendly, and well-behaved dogs are welcome in certain areas, making it a great spot for a family outing.

Overall, Stone Tower Winery offers a delightful blend of top-notch wines, scenic views, and a welcoming ambiance. It’s a must-visit for wine lovers and anyone looking to experience the beauty of Virginia wine country. Cheers!

Beautiful winery. Good wine. We had pizza and wine at one of the picnic tables there. View was amazing and it was fun to see all the families having a great time. My daughter brought her dog to socialize! There were so many different areas here to explore. And all of them lovely.

Great winery for a nice day out! Stone Tower has an amazing complex, plenty of space.

Everyone was super nice and helpful in figuring out the best wine for you but unfortunately the wine here especially the reds are awful. Stick with the white wines. SHOUT OUT TO CJ FOR TAKING CARE OF US.

However I do recommend checking out their food menu which was delicious! Mushroom truffle pizza and charcuterie board was bomb, expensive but really nice cheese and marcona almonds.
