Camden Market is a true food paradise with a vibrant atmosphere distinct from Borough Market. Both markets are fantastic in their own right, but Camden offers a unique experience. Once a horse stable, Camden Market has an intriguing layout with stalls that reflect its history.

When visiting Camden Town, you must try the funky chips and mini pancakes. The cheese-drenched chips are incredible! Be sure to explore the Asian stalls where friendly vendors often hand out free samples of their delicious fried chicken.

Beyond food, Camden Market boasts a variety of non-food items. You can find T-shirts featuring famous artists, bags, magnets, and even personalized shoe painting. After seeing many, many posts on TikTok, this was somewhere that my teenager wanted to visit. The place is absolute chaos & a complete rabbit warren! We had a lot of fun wandering around & trying some of the food. Portions are big, so we shared, but they're also not cheap. £9.50 at Uh K-dog N Juicy & Camden Noodle and £7.50 at Humble Crumble. K-dogs were £4.50 on the main road back to the tube, so you're definitely paying for the experience. That said, we enjoyed ourselves.

Camden market is a busy and vibrant market with lots of variety. There are many different food stalls and lots of interesting stalls to explore. Inside the market are two great shops worth a visit, even if you aren't shopping for rave supplies or sweets, Cyberdog and one called Hansel and Gretel.

Definitely worth visiting. It is a tourist attraction, but markets attract crowds anyway — so, yes, busy, but it's to be expected. A fair few shops and stalls are overpriced tat, but it's part of its charm.

My favourite parts are the temporary fashion pop-ups. ✨️ And I'd recommend reading the plaques about its history so that finding certain signs means something to you, like The Stables arms.

local market been hanging in there since COVID days and much reduced in items stalls and visitors. I hope it manages to survive as it's a good thing and worth preserving.

If you are a tourist, be aware. I’m Japanese. This lady was very nice explaining the story behind her collection, but when she gave me my change, she tried to shortchange me. I bought a £10 item and gave her £20, but she only gave me £5 in change. When I pointed it out, she did a very bad job of acting surprised. I knew she was trying to cheat a tourist unfamiliar with British pounds. There was also someone repeatedly telling us "this is silver," which was obviously not true. Be cautious of shops that don’t have price tags on their products. I don’t trust those shops anymore. However, some shops were lovely, and I had a good time.

The overall experience was great. The Market is vibrant, diverse and offers an eclectic mix of sights and smells. The food court caters for most dietary options, offering a wide selection of options. The stalls have a wide range of goods on sale and the majority of vendors are nice and charming (obviously). There are some minor negatives worth mentioning though. If you're driving to the area do your research about parking - it can be an issue. There are various options available, it's just a question of finding and deciding which one works for you. Public toilets are a £1 - they are very clean but attract a cost all the same. The food is a little pricey, as are the goods on sale. I suppose it's not your typical market but just be mindful that goods on sale do attract a premium price. If you're going with small kids, keep an eye on them - the place does get very crowded. Besides that, I'd recommend the market as a destination for exploring the more eclectic elements of London.

Love this market! Lots of fun antique hunting. And "Flour and Grapes" restaurant is right next to it....double LOVE! Then walk to Borough Market for some great British cheese, strawberries, and snacking tomatoes!

This quaint little antique market is probably not to everyone's liking, but I liked it a lot. Don't forget to bring your wallet as the goods are quite pricey.

The whole point of this company is buying items online cheap and then selling it on with a massive markup. If you are looking for a particular item, you are much better off simply checking the relevant resale sites, as this company buys from eBay, Vinted, etc.

I was looking for a vintage Chanel bags in Chelsea and came across this gem via Google. I was able to make an appointment same day with Mary. She was lovely to talk to and showed me lots of amazing pieces. Unfortunately the handbags I was most interested in that I had seen online were sold, however, I was able to walk away with a beautiful gold vintage chain necklace (that was custom cut to the length I had wanted), a gorgeous vintage Givenchy blazer, and stunning emerald earrings. Its actually not bad, though I feel like it used to be better. Definitely some hidden treasures to be found, be it a gift or just looking for something nice to add to your collection of whatever you collect.
I'd be careful about buying watches from there though. It's always a gamble could be fake could be genuine.
The merchants are all quite friendly and honest, well, most of them lol.

Camden Market is a cool place that has something for everyone. It is extremely busy though, so if you want to go to food stands, like Funky Chips, the earlier you go, the better. A huge con of Camden Market is that each food stand is so small and only has a couple working each one, so vendors like Funky Chips, can’t keep up with all the orders. I enjoyed the steak fries I got from Steak & Burger and the Dutch pancakes I got (can’t remember the vendor). I highly recommend both. Another con of of Camden Market is that you have to pay £1 to use the bathroom, which I feel is odd.

Well worth losing a few hours of any day!

Not a night place for kids but for adults. Kids can be brought during daytime. I don't mean kids aren't allowed, but small kids can be better taken to other places. It's a nice place to hangout with old and new friends. Plenty of eateries and pubs to choose from. Very hustling and bustling area. A lot of restaurants close at 8 and most by 9. Not a very clean place too. Go during day to click pictures in the umbrella street.

Been in the UK for 5 years and this was the first visit to Camden Market. What a treat!! Not even the wet weather could put a damper on the experience!! We had the most amazing lunch at an all-you-can-eat Chinese Buffet for only £12.50!!! Amazing food it was. Most definitely an amazing experience!

The atmosphere was energetic. There is something for everyone. There are stalls for clothing, food, bags, shoes and art. We tried a stall called Funky Chips. The line was long but wait time was reasonable. Plenty of areas to sit and people watch. Great place to visit.

Great place to visit in London! Quite out of the main tourist spots but a bus ride or a train would get you to this very quirky, interesting and full of variety market! I love the character it has and of course the great food options you get! It was worth the visit!

It does get quite busy! And some items for sale could be expensive knowing that some products are handmade. But we had a really good time wondering around!

They also have nice big orbs where you can sit and eat without being bothered by the birds.

I had a wonderful time at Camden Market on Sunday with my siblings. We explored the different stalls and shops, admiring the variety of goods and crafts on offer. We bought some souvenirs, clothes and accessories, and enjoyed the lively atmosphere and music. We also sampled some delicious food from different cuisines, such as Thai, Indian, Mexican and Italian. The portions were generous and the prices were reasonable. We ended our day with a relaxing walk along the canal, watching the boats and ducks. Camden Market is a great place to visit for anyone who loves culture, creativity and fun.

Not sure about the quality of the artefact and other wares stalls in the market or whether they're especially worth something, but the food unit is great value. Very friendly service too. Wouldn't go anywhere else for my Friday lunch during a working week.
