MOMOS were tasty! I also ordered The dumpling soup and the dumpling skin was a bit too thick for my liking. Service was great.

I had no idea that LHASA was so good. I love spiced food done well. I wish we had food like this in the Bronx where I live.

Really enjoyed trying Tibetan food. This place is super chill and we just popped in without reservation to try something new. Their butter tea was like nothing I’ve ever tried! The food is a bit on the spicy side, so let the waiter know if that will be an issue for you and he will offer modifications. Overall, I recommend this place for a casual night out when you want to be adventurous with your food

The food makes you feel happy !! Ordered the Momos (Veg combo) and by the end of my meal, I was a happy kid ❤️.

They also have CHAI !! And it’s decadent.

Service is top notch and place, though small, clean, serene, and peaceful.

Highly recommend

Nice, clean space, that serves good Tibetan food. I just wanted to have a simple vegetarian meal, so I ordered the Mushroom momos, and Broccoli with rice. I would like to come back and have the lamb!

The best Tibetan food I’ve ever had. The meat was so flavorful and tender. I tried the beef and chive dumplings and the noodles with lamb. Our server was so lovely and I can’t wait to go back!

Great hole in the wall place! Food is delicious and service was nice and super fast. They have plenty of sitting inside and outside. Very budget friendly. Lots of vegetarian options and big portions for a great price! Highly recommend.

I came here because of the high rating and was not disappointed. I was impressed with the flavors and how delicious everything was. Would highly recommend, especially if you are or are with vegetarians/vegans.

interesting place, small and with a heart... it's very clean, the service is very nice, I think it's the owner, that's my impression, but I didn't ask. The food is tasty, but watch out for the spicy sauce! If you're in the east village, stop by, you won't be disappointed !

Lhasa Restaurant is a hidden gem in the bustling heart of New York City. From the moment you step inside, you're transported to a world of Tibetan cuisine and warm hospitality.

The ambiance is equally captivating, with beautifully decorated interiors that reflect the cultural richness of Tibet. It's the perfect setting for a cozy dinner with friends or a romantic evening.

What truly sets Lhasa apart is the attentive staff who go above and beyond to ensure you have a memorable dining experience.

Absolutely gem of a place. A hidden part of new york. I would recommend this place over any fancy smancy restaurant in nyc. It's amazing. The food has so much flavor and spicy. The vegetable momos are to die for. The people working here are so sweet and the service is impeccable. I would definitely recommend to a friend. It's not white washed at all and feels totally authentic. Give it a try! You won't be disappointed
We had heard about Cafe Himalaya and decided to give it a try. I was worried that we might have to wait since the place is small and popular. But to our surprise, we were seated quickly without any wait. The restaurant has an authentic feel to it. We started with beef dumplings, which were really tasty. For the main course, I ordered Shapta and my wife had the Gyathuk Ngopa. Both dishes were delicious and not too spicy. I recommend trying the Lassi too, as it helps with the spiciness of the food. Overall, Cafe Himalaya exceeded our expectations, and I highly recommend giving it a visit.

Rare Tibetan food with a very good price. I haven’t tried Tibetan food even I’m a Chinese. The food taste like home cooked. I’d recommend the dumplings, which you can get half beef and half chicken, and the Tibentan tea with butter and salt.

It was incredibly difficult for me to make a choice of what to get because everything sounded amazing! I'm still dreaming about those pan fried potato dumplings. The tofu and vegetable curry with bean thread noodles was phenomenal as was a crispy noodle dish we also got. Beautiful flavors and hearty portions at great prices.

We randomly stumbled upon it and I'm so glad we did! Everything they provided us was absolutely scrumptious. Everything was sharing style which I love and everything came out very quickly. We sat outside on a warm breezy day so that made things even better. Our waiter was helpful with the menu and her recommendations were spot on too. If you're ever in Delancey street looking for a delicious quick bite, this place is it.
