Great atmosphere and the band was amazing. Drinks are reasonable. I ordered a fizzy lemonade and it only cost £1.60!!
Will definitely go again for the next night out!

Saw Confidence Man here 4th Dec 2024 and was amazing!! Very helpful staff but the venue lacked during the set, barrier were the only ones getting water considering you weren’t allowed to bring water in, wasn’t too sure if bottles of water were served at the bar, difficult to get to when the venue was full though.
Saw He Said She Said, the royals and Plain clothes cupid after performing with my band ΦBELISK̶ in the 3rd room. The venue staff were absolutely wonderful, casual staff and security and it was a pleasure to perform there. Mia on bars was wonderful and very kind, she took a photo for us at the end of the gig. Brontë helped my sister collect her ticket from box office and was delightful too :) Thanks for a great night guys !

It's the first time we have been here, we love the atmosphere. A very friendly place a place we will definitely go again. live music and great beer. What more can you ask for.
Fantastic venue for live music! Staff were excellent, room wasn't too crowded and the sound quality was excellent. Tickets are generally very reasonably priced and only a short walk away from the train/coach station. Would highly recommend.

Great venue for intimate gigs. Does feel like you're walking on a metal floor wearing magnetic boots, or the floor was very sticky lol

Excellent afternoon spent at Norton's. The promotion included a full Irish Breakfast (and Barry's tea) and bottomless Guinness or prosecco. The drink and food was excellent and the two sisters provided music and singing capped a lovely afternoon. Will do it again soon

Myself & a group of work colleagues was originally going to another drinking establishment but we got there too late as It was closing for the night. Then we stumbled on Norton's, a place we haven't heard of before. We had no problems entering the place as the doormen were well mannered. A very vibrant & friendly atmosphere as there were musicians playing on stage . Everybody was singing along with the songs having a good time . The highlight of the night was meeting Birmingham City legend Geoff Horsfield, a very down to earth guy .
Gig was awesome with Blake O'Connor a great warm up fir the utterly excellent UK country star, Kezia Gill. However, on a cold night outside it wasn't much warmer inside. Fir some reason there was a fan blowing cold air on us on the front row & the seats were small and so close together it was uncomfortable.

Great atmosphere, lovely Guinness . Ordered food but was told there was a backlog as it was very busy so not taking orders . Was disappointed at first but then glad when I saw a member of staff drop a pizza on the floor only to pick it back up and deliver it to an unsuspecting customer. Would go again but not to eat !

Great place for vegan meals, not your run of the mill vegan food, but lots of tasty options and menu changes often. I always come here when going to a gig at the O2 as it's close. I look forward to eating here and trying something new on the menu.
Staff are so lovely and the pub has a great cosy atmosphere.

Love this place. Their Vegan Sunday roast is amazing with a wide range of choice. Been with non-vegans and they are all impressed by the food too.

Where it really excels is the staff and atmosphere. Always friendly and welcoming. The music, the customers and ambiance is always enjoyable. You can easily go with your family and friends and not feel intimidated. We happily take our little one and she loves her time eating, playing and babbling with the staff.

Has the most amazing night here last Friday, the 7 piece band were awesome, were there with 3 of my old school friends and the Band played so many classic tunes, we danced the night away
Brilliant venue xx
4/5 star for location. This place is in a rough spot and for two young ladies we were on high alert. Once at the venue we felt fine.
As for the venue and staff I had no issues, it was nice 5/5
A lovely venue for gigs except for the intense heat (air conditioning would be lovely) and the pricing. I mean, we all know O2 venues will rip the soul out of any event but the prices were insane.

A great arts venue. I was actually there as part of a Regional Chartered Conference and Dinner. The Conference was excellent with the room being perfect for around 100 people. Hospitality was great with a large bar for post conference networking opportunities. The dinner served upstairs was lovely with excellent service. Great live music afterwards.

A great venue for a small artist. I came here to watch Blackout Problems and Noahfinnce, both are absolutely class acts. This was my first time in Birmingham and I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed the short amount of time I spent there. The venue is in a convenient location, extremely close to the Bull Ring where I bought some Greggs. Parking was no issue either. The staff and sound were absolutely amazing and the night was more than enjoyable. Would highly recommend.

The main room is nice and spacious with some seating. Sound quality decent for the size of the place. Staff on bar are super nice and beer selection and price is much more favourable than most venues, the bars are also manned properly so there isn't massive queues. 2 mins max to get served.

The location is a bit iffy and quite a walk from new street but there are two car parks right by it.

What a fantastic venue,a Diamond in the rough. Front of House was warm and welcoming, venue downstairs was spacious bar area was well stocked, staff very friendly. upstairs was a restaurant were you could watch the visiting musician's then partake in a Dance on floor level get close and personal with musicians that evening. Would recommend you visit cause i definitely will plus it doesn't cost the earth to have a good night out Jam house i Applaud you All 👏👏👏👏👏
Fantastic, well organised and staff super friendly, I’m disabled and had priority entrance, which was smooth and fast, I also had to used the lift, and the lady running it was amazing, it’s when wunderhorse were playing Friday 4th October, that lady is a credit to the 02, so friendly, and helpful, she needs a raise, so kind to myself and daughter. The bar staff on the second balcony were also super friendly. Great night

Gave this venue several attempts with no avail.
Called and spoke via web in regards to watching certain sports, yes definitely have the game on please come down. Turned up, oh no we don’t have that game on!
This happened twice.
Then tried another game, yes they had it on but no volume, again twice !
Guinness was so so
Staff were so so.
Breakfast wasn’t the best.
Toilets were rank.
Won’t be going back and wouldn’t recommend

Long narrow bar with a small area to the left and behind the bar. Great welcome when I arrived with a joke or two, made me feel welcomed and relaxed, excellent. Couple of TVs on the walls, wooden floors throughout and nice seating area. Usual tap beers with some good ales and craft beers. Staff were friendly, polite and helpful. Beer was amazing with food available also. Large leaded windows with mosaic look. Great old building. Thoroughly enjoyed my visit.

This space was designed for the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra and choruses and is used for rehearsals and concerts...and there are smaller practise rooms too. Well worth finding out about the daytime concerts...some child-frIendly, dementia-friendly...all person friendly and SUCH TALENT!!

This pub had a facelift a while back. Own by the same Cuban pub in Moseley village which was the former Bulls Head, now known as the Cuban Embassy.
So this place has that Cuban vibe with lots of quality Rums.
Guys begin the bar are great and spend time getting to know their customers.
Good selection of food as well. Pretty much all veg. Put the food and presentation is really good.
They have music events on and have a back courtyard (not so big) which has some quirky features.

I was a victim of racism in the year 2015 or 2016. The piano player, two other singing teachers were looking at me as if I was a criminal from a certain ethnicity. By the way, I'm a Hindu. They were in Rookery Road school. We then performed in Church in Handworth Wood. That day they were nice to me except for the piano player.

Had a bottomless brunch here and didn't realise the food was vegan. The drinks weren't very strong but the waitress was always keen to make sure you had your next one. The food was good, the texture of the Bish was a little strange but enjoyable. The staff seemed very friendly, overall it's a good place to go

Dined here on Saturday for my friends birthday. I have never been to the Jam House but have always heard of it through colleagues.
What an incredible evening, we had a large table booked in the balcony overlooking the entertainment area. The food was delicious, I had the pan fried duck for main course which was cooked perfectly.
The service was great and you were well looked after. I recommend the Pima coladas - one of the best I’ve had!
We then went downstairs to the main dancefloor where they had Urban Intro playing. INCREDIBLE 💃🏼🕺🏼 well done team jam house, it was a great evening!!

The atmosphere on a whole was great, music that vibrates through your body creating a positive vibe. So why the low rating? Unfortunately, there were not enough staff to bartend with people waiting 30 minutes to buy a drink. And the ladies' restrooms had an unpleasant odour that greeted you before opening the door! It was supplied with enough toilet roll at the beginning of the night... this soon dwindled. It's a shame as the vibe was on point!!!

This is one of the best places we've ever been for a gig.

We came with an high arm walker as one of our party is disabled and we had some of the most excellent help we've ever had.

We were guided into the venue ahead of people, helped onto a raised platform that was close to the stage (not stuck at the back like other places) that had benches and tables and a fabulous view.

The platform did have 2 steps but there are grab bars either side that make that easier.

The bar was cheaper than expected.

Accessible Toilet remained clean and stocked throughout the night.

The only grumble we had was it was incredibly warm. There were fans that unfortunately weren't/couldn't be switched on.

The gig was amazing.

We are already planning on coming back.

Genuinely restored our faith in accessible gigs.

Thank you so much. And thank you for all your help.

Absolutely highly recommend.

The Guinness lives up to the hype, great selection of ales too, the Whiskey list is incredible & the spice bag the perfect thing to keep you going. Lovely staff & a friendly crowd in there. The Rose of Digbeth if ever there was one!

Great venue! Fantastic staff!
The Asylum has really good wheelchair access around the lower floor, my power chair did the ramps with ease . I could choose where to sit (unlike other venues) which made for a fantastic night out.
The staff went above and beyond to make sure we were ok throughout the night and helped me get a better view by adjusting a barrier so I could park better. Really can’t thank the staff enough for giving myself and my daughter a fantastic experience like no other venue.

Lost Alone played an amazing set list, seen them several times but this was by far the most intimate gig, truly something special to remember and I hope they return really soon!
I can’t wait to visit again.

Popped when visiting a friend in Birmingham. As a vegan it's always great to find places like this, with a vegan menu. The food was lush, the cocktails fabulous and the staff were the cherry on top of the fancy drinks. Will be back whenever we're in Birmingham. Cannot recommend enough.

Fabulously decorated pub with really friendly staff that has all vegan food as BA-HA

Large range of gins, rums and whiskeys

Large outdoor and really nice outdoor beer garden with a cute car seat. Often have bans on but not when we went

We stayed for some food and dessert and it was really nice

We went for food and got a balcony seat, then got to watch the band from the balcony and also go down to dance. Great music. Great vibes, food was excellent and waiting staff polite and helpful. Drinks were tasty and everything was reasonably priced. Would recommend and I'm sure we'll be back!

Good music venue, slightly out of the city centre, but plenty of hotels close by and a handy cash point on a garage forecourt 5 minutes walk away. Great sound in here ,good atmosphere.
Good place, friendly staff, excellent pint of Guinness and they even out on some real ale for me which was very kind. I think the food was good but I was too tipsy to tell at the end of the session. It got a lot busier than my photos would suggest. Great supporters of Forward in Unity mural on the back wall. Quickly becoming a Digbeth landmark.

Biffy Clyro sponsored by Jack Daniels was amazing. 1st time at venue and loved it. Wrap up in the winter as its an outside venue.
Agree bar queues are horrendous but Jack Daniels supplied free drinks, didn't pay for one. Staff worked hard all night serving drinks and cleaning venue.
Definitely will be going back. 👍

Biffy Clyro - band were amazing. Venue set-up was brilliant. As mentioned on other reviews this was a Jack Daniels sponsored event so only JD cocktails served at the 3 bars. The queue for each bar was ridiculous as all drinks had to be made as ordered. Ironic that at a gig sponsored by a drink company you can't get a drink

Great venue for new music. Intimate, the musicians aren't dots on the horizon, you can use your eyes as well as your ears.

Coffee is pretty good as well

It’s an interesting venue but would fall apart as soon as it rains. Can’t see it lasting long. It’s basically a festival on a car park. Which is ironic because there is no where to park.

It’s not a massive venue so whatever band you see you will get a good view.

There was some nice food options but no options for the sweet tooth person like me.

Nice venue, be cracking for a blazing summers day with it being open air. Having digbeth dining club on site is also a real plus. Only downside is it can be a bit chilly if not a warm summers day

Great venue with great acoustics-Great to see some old school bands, however better planning is needed. The last gig I went to there was over an hour queue wait for beer... which is absurd, there was tons of space outside the arena for bars and seating and extra toilets which was unused... also the young security staff are quite rude and don't know how to speak politely to people... fingers crossed they sort these problems out and it'll be an awesome venue:)

Excellent venue for outdoor gigs, Digbeth Dining Club supplying the food was a nice touch and bar queue moved quickly. Searches going in were a bit slow moving and toilet facilities could be better, especially for the ladies.

Was here last night for Terrorvision gig. Brilliant night out. Venue is good but could be brilliant in the future. Only 2 bars and the wait time to get served was atrocious. In the main area with stage there were about 5 empty arches, maybe these could be used for extra bars & toilets. A good night out in the sun with beer & live music. What more could you want.
