VMP concerts are always reliably beautiful and well performed. Liesl Odenweller was in wonderful love for this particular concert, and the accompanying harpsichord and cello were brilliant!
The music archaeology that uncovers so many of the performance pieces selected by Venice Music Project in itself is hard work. Bravo once again!!

This place is wonderful. They perform a diverse array of early music, and seek to amplify many of the musical voices and compositions that were lost after the eighteenth century. I definitely plan on returning the next time I am in Venice!

I attended a concert featuring soprano Caterina Chiarcos with sackbut and keyboard. Lovely early music, unknown to me, in an intimate, beautiful setting. If I lived in Venice, I'd attend every VMP concert.

The true music experience of Venice! in the great setting of Scuola Grande dei Carmini...they do concerts that one can not forget !

The performance was incredible. I enjoy classical music though I am not a great connoisseur. However, the performance left me in tears because of the incredible talent of the lead violinists. The place was also nice, though the seating was not very comfortable. Also, do not come early or you will have to wait outside quite a while.

Amazing show with great costumes, an awesome orchestra and talented performers. Definitely worth the price and your 90 minutes.

The costumes are cool, yes. But I was extremely disappointed with the caliber of musicianship. Perhaps it was a day with substitute players who hadn't rehearsed much, but the intonation was unacceptable throughout.

I was hoping to experience good music with a neat visual experience, however the whole thing felt a bit impersonal.

Also there was a huge gap in seating (group A having many more rows reserved than booked), and group B being stuffed in the back. Definitely no problem of selling different tiered tickets, but an awareness of numbers and simply re-working the division of chairs would make it feel significantly less strange.

I was sad to be disappointed in this, and hope to find different more authentic musical experiences in Venice. I believe in this group though and hope they can raise the level of musicianship.

I was a bit hesitant to attend the concert as I had only 12 hours in Venice. BUT I’m so glad I bought that ticket. I went to the four seasons concert, the program, the staff, the venue, and the costumes, all was perfect! I would do it again 100%!
But I wish if they allow video recordings, I don’t think it’s necessary to ban them. I’ve been listening to Vivaldi’s four seasons since I was a kid, and I have also seen recordings posted by some visitors online, that didn’t stop me from coming. It’s about the experience. I know there are available video recordings to be purchased after the event but I think it would be a beautiful memory to have a recording of the concert from my own perspective and not captured by professionals.
Anyway, it was still a lovely night!

Experiencing this musical on our 35th Wedding anniversary was phenomenal. Music & costumes were extraordinary. A must see while in Venice 🤓👌

It was heaven to sit there drink and listen to music. Pricey though.

Wow, what a way to start our trip to Venice! They were amazing! The costumes definitely help to take you back in time as well. Loved it! They started with a selection of baroque and then finished with Vivaldi. Fantastico

Came here years ago for some stunning opera, a mix of Verdi, Beethoven and Tchaikovsky. Set in a great atmosphere building with beautiful architecture elements and paintings on the walls. Would highly recommend booking some tickets to come here.

Small, intimate theater. The performers are very good and very engaging. The only negatives were no refreshments and the seats got a little uncomfortable after about an hour

Thoroughly enjoyed the show although somewhat put off by patrons clapping after movements and the soloist encouraging it.

Enthusiastic performance in an old chapel which had great acoustics for the string ensemble. Appropriately they played Vivaldi who came from Venice.

Do not miss this very fine group of musicians and singers. You'll hear some of the world's most beautiful music in a beautiful church in one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Did I mention beautiful?

Wow! Very talented group! Solo's and duets plus the violins, piano, and bass. Ahh..just wonderful!
