AMAZING! I saw Ella Fitzgerald sung by Cherise Coaches. The performance was spectacular and should not be missed. I could go see her again! I also love the venue, I enjoy going regularly.

Went to see a Santana tribute band. the setting is great, sitting on the grass overlooking the stage and by the river. A very enjoyable evening which was well organised

Great facility to watch different genres of music under the stars. The facility is top notch. Great sound and lighting. They allow you to have your own food and libations as long as you don’t have a huge cooler and table. Bring your lawn chair or blanket and enjoy good music.

Not a good neighbor. The cutoff time for the music to end is 10 pm. It’s now after 10:20 and the blaring music continues. We put up with this 6 nights a week all summer and you can’t sleep with open windows. Now they play until the feel like it? I think not!

I saw dial M for murder last night
It was a great show with a super cast
I haven been to the playhouse in years and sorry I haven't patronized it more

It's a great way to see a show with out the hassle or expense of going to NYC

And Eastport has had a long history of arts and theater. Let's support this amazing institution
Dial M for Murder was done very well. However the patrons were very entitled. They have a unisex/handicap bathroom with quite a few stalls. It was a8ll the talk because men and women used the bathroom at the same time. Also someone's cell phone kept making noises the whole first act.
Great site, seating a little cramped but great sight lines and acoustics Sitting in a piece of history
Dial M for Murder was terrific! Highly recommend seeing it.

Awesome outdoor venue for town’s concerts! Their audio equipment is designed right, meaning you will get the best of any performer playing here. A must go when you are around!

I saw 2 different performances around the 4th of July (2023) They both had different styles, but they both sound fantastic.

Some pieces of advice if you are not used to town events:

1) bring your chair (or mat to sit on the grass)
2) bring snacks, soda, wine, or anything you may want to enjoy for the evening!!
3) have fun!

Always a fun night at this outdoor venue. The sound system is great and you can place your chairs down and not have to worry too much about the people in front of you blocking your view (unless you choose to sit on a blanket instead of a chair). Feel free to dance the evening away after you enjoy your picnic dinner. Most concerts are free (reserve online); some require ticket purchases. All are under the stars. Wednesdays are kid concerts. Bring bug spray and a jacket/blanket. Don’t miss out!

Lovely venue sound could have been optimized.
Great shows, friendly staff , comfortable modern theater. No bad seats in this house.
Saw Ain't Misbehavin here last night!! Wonderful performances and the songs, music ,and performers were EVERYTHING!
Our first time here, well worth the 45min drive!.
Very comfortable seating, no seat is a bad seat, staff are friendly and very helpful.

Will definitely return to see more shows.
What a lovely playhouse. Just beautiful! Small quaint, and has that UPDATED Ole time fee l and look and decor. Very well kept. Felt like seeing a show back in time. Loved the ambience.
So very wonderful to hear live music again! We love this place - bring a picnic and folding chairs.
Saw Dial M for Murder last night and loved it! Tremendously talented cast with great writing and stage production. The Playhouse is a wonderful place to experience any performance and I feel very lucky to have it so close by. It always feels great to support this historic landmark and I really appreciate their efforts to be inclusive of all people. Thank you!

This place is reason enough to move to Westport. There are so many free concerts throughout the summer and the fund raising concert once each summer brings great bands into town. Blues, Views and BBQ is great as well. The new Pavillion is a great size for this town and the sound is great.

The best outdoor music venue you can find between New York and Boston. It's on the beautiful Saugatuck river and next to the Westport Library. It has free music concerts on most of the days in the summer months.
