Visited from Milwaukee - thought mixed drinks were a bit pricey for the size, but maybe that's because Wisconsin just drinks so much more 🤣. Bouncers were super cool & everyone inside was nice as well. Pretty interesting interior with the couches and stuff but it just works!

Stopped here after the Jolly Pumpkin with a group of friends. Didn't try any of the food but they made us some great drinks!! I would for sure go back. Also loved how they had the back patio area set up like a big backyard.

I love this place in the warm weather. The back yard is huge and feels like a hidden oasis in the middle of Detroit. The bartenders are no-nonsense and the patrons vary in age and look. I've never hung out inside but it's pretty big too. It looks like where you'd donate your old couch to, but in a good way. I never got a hook-up vibe here, just people chilling.

Absolutely tremendous place. Nice selection of pints, and not afraid to have ferocious music. A quick tour of the exterior revealed loads of space if outdoor lounging is more your thing. If I lived there, I'd be there all the time. As it is, I'll watch for bands and consider a dedicated trip...

Love everything about this place. The venue is nice (although poles get in the way of the unfortunate), the bowling is fun, the pizza is good. I just wish it was closer!

I love old Miami, I try to visit at least once every time I come to Detroit. This time we had just gotten done DJing at another spot and we rushed over to see if we could set up real quick to continue the vibes. Regrettably they didn’t let us do that, but it’s always a good time when you bring a large group of friends. This time around I think we had close to 20 people in our group, sat and drank in the backyard for an hour or so. There’s so much space, so much to do, and they have a pretty decent selection of ciders.

If you want to know Detroit, The Old Miami is one of your stops. It still hosts Detroit's local music scene with a great atmosphere, including a backyard to give you a breather from great intense loa music. As good as it gets.

Fun venue. Despite it's size there's still a bit of a punk edge to it that made the show feel intimate. The bartenders were friendly and quick.

I recently attended a pre-show at the Magic Stick in Midtown Detroit before a music festival, and it was an incredible experience. The location is convenient, with free parking and plenty of nearby restaurants, which were great bonuses. The sound quality was excellent, and the staff were top-notch. It's a fantastic spot for live music in Detroit, and I highly recommend checking it out! the outdoor patio is also really nice

Great concert venue! Easy to get there from the Qline. I have been there many times. One piece of advice is that the headliner always goes on later than I expect.

Nice little venue. There is a parking structure right around the corner ($12 on the night I went), about a 2 minute walk. The building itself was nice and well kept. There was a make shift bar setup but it was well stocked and the bartenders were friendly. Upon entering the theater itself it was abit of an odd setup. The stage itself was hardly off the floor which kind of gave it a school gymnasium feel. Directly in front they had tables placed for premium price, which I'm sure was very nice for the people sitting at them, a 50's nightclub vibe. Beyond that was movie theater type seating. Tonight is was general admission so we arrived early and sat front row. In retrospect (despite the extra legroom) it probably would have been advantages to sit alitte further (higher) back, as the tables in front of us partially blocked the performers (as previously mentioned, the stage was not elevated). The sound system was great, loud but not overpowering so that I could speak to my party without raising my voice. Very clean and up-to-date. The staff were dressed nicely and polite, with the exception of one gentleman that that seemed alitte over aggressive in getting us out the door at the end of the evening (granted we were lingering after the show but there were several other patrons doing the same). Not a big deal but worth mentioning. It also seems the seating is collapsible so the entire floor can be opened up for gatherings, affairs and whatnot. Overall a nice litte place to enjoy an evening.

I was set on this venue from the moment we started planning our wedding . I love that it's a blank slate that you can really make your own, and the patio is just wonderful. We had 200 people at our wedding and it was amazing. The space transformed and became my dream venue. Now the real gem, Lilly. She was our point of contact and I now consider her a friend. She was kind, responsive, and really wanted to deliver for us on our big day. She nailed it! I can't thank her enough for organizing a banging bar, helping coordinate with our planner, and being patient with our VERY specific bar requests. She did it all with a positive and excited attitude. I recommend using the recommended vendors as this is a DIY space. I wouldn't have changed a thing!

Great venue for music, but the bar staff was terrible. There was very few people in line and they would just stand there with their backs turned. It felt disrespectful. They had no urgency, people were literally walking away because they weren't taking people's drink orders. It boggles me that they weren't more attentive to the customers, seeing as that is how they and the business make their money. Never seen anything like it before
. Crazy. Too bad...

I had a very poor experience at this venue. I attended the Matisyahu concert here a few weeks ago and had to leave. The venue was dangerously overcrowded. I ended up fainting due to the heat in the venue and was not able to safely exit the stage area due to how crowded it was. Staff at the venue was not helpful when this happened. I will not attend any event here in the future.

Edited to add response: I am unsure of how you were not informed that I fainted as multiple staff were involved, but not helpful. They even mentioned how hot it was inside of the venue. The weather outside has nothing to do with the temperature of an indoor venue. The venue was definitely overcrowded as I was unable to safely move out of the concert area. There were hundreds of people packed in a tiny room. The response on this review echoes the horrible experience I had here.

Staff was very friendly. Smaller venue than I expected but sound was great. Took daughter for a concert and there were a couple booths where I could sit and have a drink while she enjoyed the venue. They had a cool outdoor garden area. Parking is mostly on street. I parked across the street in a small lot, and then they told me it was $20 to park there when I walked back, but I was fine with that for the convenience.

The venue was great for Too Many Zoos! There are tvs above the bar that show the stage too, so if you don't want to be in the crowd you could hang at the bar and watch the show while hearing it live. Pretty cool!

If you don't know Alestorm, they are awesome live! First time in the US, last time was in the UK, this was just as awesome!

Very intimate setting, very warm inside, but pretty awesome setting.

Went for a kids birthday party and it was perfect. Lanes were in good condition, plenty of fun bowling balls for the kids and adults, music was on point but still family friendly, and the service was fantastic. Oh, and the bathrooms were accessible and clean. Zero problems, which unfortunately isn't the norm at bowling alleys these days.

The venue was good. The workers are awesome. It was extremely crowded though. The event was sold out so we expected it to be crowded. It was A LOT of people. Love the area and everyone was SO nice!
Beautiful venue! Saw Matt Rife- great show! Only problem is they don't seem to stagger seating so it is very difficult to see the stage, we paid a lot of money for tickets closer to the front and still had a hard time seeing.
Otherwise venue and show were great

The Fillmore was a great. Went to see a concert. Sat upper balcony. Views were good. Definitely for the more chill peeps. Down on the floor was for the dancing crowd. Had a great time there.

Great place to see a show. Safe and right off 75. One star off because the stage area was kind of narrow and deep, making it a little hard to see the stage. If you are there to dance and take in the music with everyone else, then a 5! Sound system was great! Saw Spafford there this past weekend. The crowd was great!

Enjoyed the venue first jazz concert ever here hope the Majestic theater does more jazz events in the future had a wonderful time
My girlfriend and I attended a show at Majestic Theatre and we were not impressed. You guys have a dive bar atmosphere, with absolutely nowhere to sit down, not even ADA. On top of that you're charging $40 a ticket. Primarily alcohol sales. The place was clean, but the atmosphere and management is terrible. I won't be coming back

Story of the Year was awesome.

Great music club, with excellent sound system.

Used to have a ton of pool tables, but not this last time I was there.

Mood lighting is nice too.

Outdoor balcony for the smokers.

Pretty fast bar service.

It's a neat little venue. Easy in and out, I didn't have to wait in any insane lines since the venue was small. It is mostly standing; there were two tables in the actual concert area, and then in the bar area, there were some tables and chairs. It wasn't too crowded, but I could see it getting a little cramped for a concert with a lot of dancing-- this was more of a chill, sway-a-little-bit concert. Also A+ for having a little water stand with those little paper cups for anyone to drink.

The Fillmore in Detroit is a great place for a concert. There is plenty on parking nearby. Restaurants and bars are within walking distance. The venue is beautiful.
I absolutely love coming here to this wonderful establishment in Detroit. Great sound and memorable experiences! Have not had a single bad experience yet and don't think that I ever will. Will always be back to see my favorites!

The plastic seats placed in the front of the stage could have been a tad more comfortable. I recommend bringing some sort of seat cushion for extended sittings. Otherwise, John Malkovitch's "The Critic" was quite entertaining and I recommend seeing it!

Great Venue. Not too little, was impressed actually with how it opened up once you went thru the doors.
Great show! Crowd was decent, restrooms were clean and taken care of through the night! Of course in my opinion they don't need to charge $12 for a 24oz Bud light, but it probably keep people from having to many !

This is an excellent venue. It’s intimate, clean, and the events start on time. The Cube is also in a great location with plenty of great restaurants and parking nearby.
Friendly staff and a decent atmosphere. The show I went to was very intense in terms of stage effects and the space and staff executed it well. I also appreciate that there is a parking structure nearby and a pizza place next door.

The Eastern is a fantastic venue with a unique, open floor space that will accommodate any type of event, from weddings to theme parties and corporate events. It’s a great concept for those who want to engage their own caterers, vendors, coordinators, etc. The staff is knowledgeable and great to work with.

I feel this to be a great venue for a variety of events. You have parking, which is a huge plus. You can get recommendations on different vendors, such a food, bar, and music. Obviously, communication is very important to get the experience you're expecting. I love the spacious venue very much.
It was wonderful to watch Bishop Briggs perform. The sound was great for her but not so great for the first and okay for second. The tickets were a little misleading about being "seated" . Had to pay an extra $30 per person to sit on not the most comfy chairs
Great event space. There is almost always something going on there. The space is one large room with a beautiful ceiling, nice lighting, and easily accessible bar making it a great spot for concerts. They also have a bowling alley in the back which is a nice spot to hang out.
I really like the layout of this venue! The seating is comfy and makes the view easy no matter who's sitting in front of you. I could stand some more leg room, but otherwise it's great. The sound was incredibly loud, at least at the show I attended. But that's a good thing! I enjoyed their usage of the stage lights, apart from being blinded a couple times. All in all: it's a nice, clean, comfortable, and LOUD venue; what more could you want.
This is a great place to chill out, meet new people, have coffee or tea, read or whatever. The atmosphere is relaxing.
Our son had his wedding there. It was beautiful. They displayed a picture of him and his bride on the marquee, the morning of, the wedding and throughout the night. The service was impeccable and Andiamo catering was fantastic. The brides family had been planning her beautiful day since she was a child. Being next to Eminems, Moms Spaghetti, was an added bonus ☺️ Just Amazing ❣️

We had an event there and was fun. There were lots of kids with us, but they were able to enjoy too. They had automated bumpers and a ball ramp for little ones.
I'm not sure who scored what, but I know people had lots of fun.
Their lane computers could chat between the lanes, take pictures of the people who were playing with emotions and play little video clips during the game for fun. I think it kept all the different ages engaged and enjoying.
We did have some people (not with our group) smoking/vaping next to us. The smell was not pleasant.
I came here hoping to find a new favorite place to eat and interweave with people of like mind. When I arrived they ( a standoffish older gentleman sitting down and a more friendly woman maybe mid 30’s late 20’s) stared at me for a few seconds I confusingly said hello then was asked if I needed help. I replied it’s my first time here I came to try the food but did want to look around a bit first. I was met with a okay..not even a point in the correct direction and it’s a bit uncomfortable because it’s someones house! The people were fake friendly, not very attentive or much help when notified of it being a first time there. Wasn’t clean AT ALL. It’s in a HOME with animals roaming specifically a cat that was fluffy. The shop alone in itself is cool I personally didn’t see any crystals or other metaphysical items except herbs and I’m all for that type of thing but I WOULD NOT eat here. Flat out got up and went to public house.
One start for RESTAURANT atmosphere because of the filth and disorganization.
One start for service because it sucked
And one star for the food because if it was that bad where I was I’m terrified of the kitchen
I’m not saying any of this to shade or be mean I’m saying it because the reviews that are posted inspired me to go here and I felt as if I was lead on and i didn’t want anyone else to be that disappointed

I was a guest at a wedding here. I was expecting what I saw in the photos, but I wasn’t impressed. The hall is an original warehouse which can be quite nice for certain events. I did not like the dark lighting in the hall or restroom. One wall had a glass garage door which created backlight issues when taking photos that direction. Large dance floor. Outside patio was used for appetizers. Parking along the building was very convenient.
Parking: so chuffed I was able to find a spot right outside the venue. Plenty of street parking in the area, if you’re ok with a short walk.
Venue: very cool set up, you enter straight into a bar/holding area before entering the stage theatre through doors on either side. The sound was great with high production values, which can’t always be guaranteed at these smaller venues. I recommend!
Note: no food served on the premises, so eat before or prepare for a liquid dinner!

I mean, a classic to say the least. Today was clearly a chill Sunday, but the small indoor space I can see getting easily crowded on a live band night. Outside, backyard area an entire different vibe. Spacious, well kept and also has a bar out there. The backyard area is a place you can escape the inside space and odor of possible mold for an outdoor, open experience. Drinks were great and an overall good experience. I appreciate places like this with history and it’s unique style.

I'm not sure why there aren't more reviews on here discussing what a creep Dr. Bob is. Makes me think if the proper terms are mentioned the review is taken down. I know of MANY many women who have experienced inappropriate touching at the hands of Dr. Bob, including myself, during "chiropractic work." This man is hiding behind his ego delusions.

This was a cool little space. It's not as big as you might think, but it's kinda neat.
Our hiking group was served a wonderful salad and veggie lasagna lunch today. Hosts were friendly and accommodating and the food was terrific. Stop by: you'll enjoy a good meal and a great vibe.
Came to PHS for the first time after a concert and it was an amazing experience! Dr. Bob is the sweetest man and the crowd was my kind of people! I can’t wait to go back. The food was incredible, the items for sale were interesting and everyone made us feel like family.

Attended an Urban Art Orchestra performance dedicated to J. Dilla, Qtip, etc. It was cool. The venue is intimate so not a bad seat in the house.
I photographed a wedding at The Eastern this past summer. It's such a great space. I love the light and industrial look, plus it's ideally located for pictures around Eastern Market and the rest of Detroit. The staff also take great care of their clients. @JackHoylephoto
While it may not look like much from the outside, upon entering it is warm, interesting, and comfortable inside. Many cool treasures from all over the world are displayed. We had great service from our wonderful server ( from Holland!) and excellent vegetarian and vegan food. Enjoyed potato leek soup, lasagna and really tasty tempeh wrap. It's a small place with only a couple of tables. We loved the whole experience and will definitely be coming back.

We had our wedding reception here in October 2022 and I can’t recommend it enough. Great location, beautiful inside area, outside patio area and beautiful architecture, plenty of parking. It was my dream venue and I’m in love with it. You can really make it into anything you want! Emily, the main contact, is very knowledgeable and was so helpful the entire way through. They also work with a lot of great vendors that they recommend to you. I couldn’t recommend it enough!

I ordered the Bean burger, oh no lol!
All it is…..mushy beans with wholes beans mixed with it, nice flavor but as soon as I lifted my burger, 1/2 of it fell out. Doesn’t hold at all, seems like all they did was mix the product together & slapped it on sliced bread. In addition to that, their selling their buyers for $9 & their using regular slice bread instead of a bun. This sloppy mess is definitely over priced & is worse to hold together then a sloppy joe. Top it off, the lady who cashed me out, tried to rip me off $2. I caught it of course, she was friendly & it was a nice environment, however as far as eating here goes…..Definitely not!

My brother and new sister in law held their wedding reception here, and it was beautiful. Definitely not your typical event space.
If you're wondering about the mezzanine, it's stage leftup along the wall. The view is great, it has a private bar and bathroom. Highly recommended
