Super nice venue with great sound quality.
My big complaint is they did not have any food offerings during the 8 hour long Summer Slaughter event (7/26/24) combined with no re-entry allowed. I had to convince one of the artists to walk across the street for me and pick up a pizza since only artists were allowed to re-enter.

Amazing intimate venue with an incredible environment. Amazing, friendly, and funny security who actually seem to enjoy their jobs. Will definitely be back here.

This lovely restored theater is an art deco relic of the past. It is such a treat to attend shows at this small intimate venue. I love the restoration details on the outside of this venue, which brings this to life breathing in fresh air to the vintage. Very small theater with limited seating. Balcony seating is available and standing room only. This venue does not hold many. I have seen such musical artists as Eric Johnson, AL Di Meola, Heavy Make up, and others. The sound quality here is beyond perfection. Support live music in Dallas at this lively Oak Cliff historic intimate venue.

Attended the Avi Kaplan concert last night, first time visiting the venue. It's amazing! The staff were SUPER friendly, the building was clean and well taken care of. The music sounded amazing and every spot in there is a spectacular view. I am a FW girlie through and through but we'll be making a lot more trips to Dallas now that I know about this awesome little gem! Stop next door to PHD before hand, it was great too!

Been here countless times for different sized concerts. Great vibe and atmosphere! Organized as well

Bruce Cockburn concert May 4th. This venue is so close and intimate, the perfect place for an artist like Bruce. Perfect night out, great work from his catalog, Finale was thunder from the storms outside as Bruce started "when the Spirit walks in the room"...

My card got triple charged. I only went to one bar and one bartender. I tipped $30 in cash. For some reason the bartender had to go find my card as well. Not only are their drinks outrageously priced you’ll get double charged for your tab. I had two 16oz white claws ($5 at the bar I work at), one single beam and coke ($5 at my bar), 3 lemon drops ($5 each at my bar) and my total without tip was $105!!! That’s insane. Charging high prices for mid grade liquor. Back to the charges. I have a charge for $105 that has cleared the bank. Then one charge for $70 and another charge for $35. That has been lingering in my account and has not cleared. Tying up my money. I called the venue and the lady took down my name, phone number, and last 4 digits of my card and no one has yet to call. I attached photos of my bank statement. The greyed out transactions have been sitting and not processed since Saturday. Those two showed up first. Then Sunday when I woke up the bold darker one for $105 was processed and done. So why is the other two charges still there??????? My bank won’t touch them until they are processed. WTH South Side Music Hall?

This is my favorite place for live music. Always clean bathrooms, no or little wait at the bars, intimate enough to enjoy the experience and the acoustics are fantastic!

Since 2010 this place has welcomed some of the finest musicians playing live. There is an amazing Vibe here of History and repurposed art and the venue contains probably one of the best sounding live rooms in all of dallas. There aren't too many places where you can go and just walk in and know the music will be good but I highly advise you get tickets in advance here because most of the shows sell out or are close to capacity. They have a good selection of alcohol and some light bar snacks. The staff is always exceptionally friendly and this is a safe and beautiful place to spend a night listening to music.

Just went here for the first time to see a band I really like. It’s easy to find, easy to park. The people are really cool, full bar. Great venue!

Joshua Ray Walker performed an amazing acoustic show at the Kessler Theater. Seating was outstanding, staff was MOST excellent, drinks were cold & reasonably priced. This is the perfect intimate music venue!

Watched the best show of my life there 2-26-24. Have been to several shows by the same artist but he sounded amazing in this venue. If an artist you like is playing here it is a must see event.

The tower is crown hotel. Nice location in the downtown. Nice hotel management and customer service excellent.

Not easy to get to. Service is incredibly unfriendly. Not clean.

Great venue with pretty incredible audio and visual quality - hats off to the mixing team. Drinks are somewhat overpriced, which it’s not atypical for a venue to meet their margins with alcohol, but what stood out were the bartenders. Very attentive and top notch. Well done!

Super cute venue, I hadn’t been on this side of Dallas in years. The bar is nice the lady helped me out and made me a delicious drink cause I don’t drink often 💛 it is cold inside! Super glad I wore a long sleeve and a jacket So be sure to pack a sweater. Overall I will definitely be back c:

5 star banquets are 100 stars
We hosted a last minute event there and the management went completely over and beyond than what was required and we couldn't be happier to choose 5 star banquets. Very very professional , the wait staff was phenomenal and the food was mouth watering. Ample parking spaces. Thank you so much. Still one of the best

Nice place, but standing room only which isn't good if you need disabled seats. They did provide bar stools, which was nice, but they weren't very comfortable. Still, there were 3 bars, and the stage was plenty big enough, and the sound was amazing, so we had a great time anyway! We were a bit achy when we left, but if you're not old like us, then you're golden!

Beautiful place for our wedding! Everything was so pretty and the food was so good that you wouldn't want to stop eating!! We had two-day wedding, and were so thankful to John for helping us plan everything and making it wonderful! If you are looking for a place that has it all, then this is it! This place a like a secret gem. No one knows how beautiful this place really is. A great location for a fashion show over looking the highway. It’s 15 mins away from downtown. Will make a great wedding or fashion show venue. I loved the floors, free parking, lighting, and the big windows.
